Winston looked awful on that series. I get his second down pass was mostly to avoid a sack, which is good. But on third down, he should have been able to tuck and run or been closer with that pass on the roll out. A better play call would have helped. Breese will carve our terrible secondary up if we go three and out all day.

Yea the problem is BA isn’t calling plays, Leftwich is. And unfortunately he just doesn’t call great game plans. How many wasted pass attempts to Scotty Miller and Perriman this year that should have gone to Howard, Brate and Evans? How many wasted runs up the middle with Barber when everyone with one eye could see we were gonna run it?
It’s a shame. With our weapons we should be the #1 offense in the league.

That whole 1st half was a joke. Jameis was under pressure just about every single play, and he compounded the problem by being so slow reading the defense. I’ve seen enough. Bucs need to focus on upgrading the OLine & Dline before worrying about signing any more ‘weapons’. We can’t beat the good defenses, and without that there’s no playoffs.

This is starting to get scary. Jameis clearly is not a QB you can build a winner with yet there is no way in heck that Arians is going to go through a rookie QB project. So, since this season is virtually over assuming we don’t come back in this one which I think is a safe assumption. What in the world do we do at QB? The Trevor Lawrence or Burrows pipe dream likely won’t happen especially under Bruce’s watch. I don’t even know what to do. I guess we either tag Jameis or find a veteran QB to either trade for or sign as FA. More than likely Bruce looks back on this one and says Jameis is under siege per usual especially from the right tackle position and gives him another scapegoat.

One of the most infuriated half’s of football I ever saw from this team.
We are completely and toally unprepared. Half of the screens we run all year look like we haven’t practiced. We are helpless to stop their passrush and coaching seemingly has no idea how to nullify it.
OJ Howard is a awful pass catcher and I don’t want to hear any more whining how we don’t use him. He is a bad pass catcher and deserves no attention.
Bowles defense looks like they don’t even realize that the Saints will burn you on the edge if you allow it. I could have told them that apparently they never game planned for it and are given ng up the edge on many critical downs.
Saw Suh twice give little to no effort and he is a bad player right now. Wanna go back and focus on what he is doing on these running plays but my bet is he is a huge factor why we are getting destroyed by Karmara. He should benched for Gholston cause I saw William make a few plays out there.
This freaking team better have an adjustment ready for the 2nd half or I’m going to be ticked. If their freaking passrush continues to keep destroying us it’s as much of a coaching failure as it is the players.
Embarrassing freaking effort and that crowd was freaking loud at the start. We deserve better and it better start in this half. This unprepared helpless effort is a true slap in the face to us fans.

The biggest problem is the same problem this team has had for 10 years. They get dominated in the trenches on both sides of the ball. D Line hasn’t got any pressure at all and JPP has been miserable in this one. More importantly, again our O Line is getting manhandled. This is more on Licht and his crap team of talent he has assembled than it is on the coaches.

In addition to the lack of talent(Thanks Licht), Bowles is making the wrong decision with this secondary. Jamel Dean literally allowed 1 catch for -2 yards last week in only his 2nd start. He should be getting groomed to be our shutdown QB but instead CD is showing how average at best he is. Davis doesn’t have the catch-up speed that Dean has. I simply don’t understand not having Dean on their best WR.

Only good I can find here is we have nullified their pass rush. So the proper adjustment was made on offense.
On defense I think we are trying to run more zone and it has made no difference because these players don’t know how to run it. They don’t know their responsibilities and are out of position. Not much Bowles can do with these players that just don’t understand the game. He can’t adjust if the players don’t respond.

Third, this is now several weeks in a row of blatant blown calls by refs, many of which have been challenged and reviewed and still blatant mistakes are made.
