Damn, I forgot about the “blue law” where alcohol not available until 11:00 AM on Sunday in Tampa, that is way below average. Of course back in the day during the ’80s I remember having to wait until kickoff at 1 to buy a beer at the local watering holes in the Temple Terrace/USF area. Lee and Charlotte Counties allow alcohol sales at 7 AM everyday so it looks like Hillsborough is a bit behind the time but when I lived in Tuscaloosa Alabama (1989-1995) I recall that we college kids would road trip to Jefferson County/Birmingham for beer on Sundays as Tuscaloosa County was dry unless you went to a private club like the Moose or Elks…. I suspect we will need copious amounts of alcohol to watch our boys in London later ….

Wow, Pryda, forgot that Tampa/Hillsborough does not open the taps until 11:00 AM due to archaic blue laws but Lee/Charlotte/Sarasota Counties all serve beer at 7 AM so the Uni Park location of Wild Wings looks like a smart choice!

E: if you got an antenna or cable package that can pick up TV32 in Lakeland you are in luck. Otherwise its NFL network….
