Bucs Rookie Suspended

October 21st, 2019

The news of the day is not a trade for a cornerback, but an announcement that the Bucs’ 2019 seventh-round pick was busted by the NFL pee squad.

Rookie defensive tackle Terry Beckner is suspended for the next four games for violating the NFL policy on performance-enhancing drugs, the league announced today.

No word on whether the Bucs will bring back Da’Quan Bowers, Ryan Sims, Albert Haynesworth or Chris “Swaggy” Baker to fill the void.

Oh no!! The season is over!

  4. OBP Says:

That’s the 3rd player this year for us to get popped for PEDs, that’s a bad look for BA.

Player stupidity never ceases to amaze me. Get everything from the team! Or bring it in to them for approval! Complete Jackassery.

Colorado – and for that reason I was hoping for a diamond in the rough. More like a shard of glass.

    In BA I Trust!

  7. Bucnjim Says:

Michael Bennett suspended for continued d-baggery even on a championship team! Imagine that…

How can you trust BA when his BS has out-shinned his coaching skills???? Just curious how you can have confidence in a washed up used car salesman.

  9. bucs4ya Says:

The kid probably took something before he was even drafted and they’re just getting the results. Kinda like when Kwon got popped.

  10. ElioT Says:

Wonder if anyone has the time to see what other players picked after him have contributed?

This isn’t like kwon getting popped for ped’s and nobody is walking around saying how are the bucs gonna replace his production. Petty article and so are the negative comments about a guy who we dont even know his jersey number.

  13. bucfan999 Says:

Isn’t he on the practice squad??? If so who cares????

  14. DB55 Says:

Im wondering if the Bucs training staff has anything to do with this? Is it merely incompetence? Isn’t this the 7th player in the last 2 years? Kwon, Beckwith, Ryan Smith, Bond, Buckner and maybe someone else.

But when will CMC get tested, that’s all I wants to know.

Brilliant one-liner! Thanks, I needed that today.

  20. DB55 Says:

See I knew I wasn’t making this up. According to this article the Bucs have had 10 ped suspensions since 2012 and I’m assuming they are not counting Buckner or Bond.

The Cardinals looked like a jr mr atlas squad when they were good years back .Hell they can prob go to the Doctor and raise their test. 20 percent or so and meet the league standard.

Performance ehancing drugs!? The guy needs to find his dealer and ask for his money back.

  23. BucFan81 Says:

In other news the Raiders traded their first round starting CB Conley to the Houston Texans for a third round pick. Yet here we are with the worst secondary in the league doing what we do best sitting still with are thumb up are asses.. It is a Bucs Life!!!!

  24. Hodad Says:

    Another wasted Licht pick.

  25. Anonymous Says:

Three in a year…that got caught. Hey, when guys are winning games and putting it all down, sometimes we should cut them some slack.

Oh, wait a minute. Winners don’t do this, and the Bucs sure aren’t winning.

Sarcastic comment above…”season is over.” Actually it is. It will nice to welcome our 2-6 or 3-5 team home to the RayJay, to watch them fall to the improving-weekly Cardinals.

I think we know what purpose the golf cart serves. Maybe BA is riding dirty.

Don’t be stupid. Joe makes a living publishing the news about the Bucs, and this is news. It doesn’t matter if you like it…it still happened.

I believe most of the training staff was replaced.

Testing takes place when they report to Training Camp. It just takes a while to work through all the testing apparently. So anything these guys use is done on their own.

  30. Lamarcus Says:

Cut him already. make a trade for a corner. Come on man. Save our season. We don’t need these crackhead players here. Come on Bucs

  31. DB55 Says:

Just wondering if yahoos like trex see the difference between and back-up quarterback and what jaboo deals with?

  32. BigHog Says:

He is under contract, bring him in, gather as much information as you can, make a decision and move on!!!

Only the stupid get caught. Per the labor agreement, players get tested one time annually, and everyone knows when that is.

TMax – What I see in BA is a man who has street smarts from his youth, made mistakes, picked himself up, was fortunate to have been around some of the games greatest legends, led a team with an ailing coach and made it about that coach, not himself, coached multiple Hall of Famers, won 2 Super Bowls as an assistant, won AP Coach of the Year Twice, is bigger than the game (won’t be overwhelmed by the job, like many others we have seen), confidence and evidence of getting the absolute best out of his players.

I also carry the belief that a new leader needs time to get results. This team was and still has mental weakness. It takes time to eliminate that trait. I have confidence in BA to fix it because he made tough decisions almost immediately and will continue to do so as long as he is here.

He brought in a strong coaching staff who understands his expectations and execution.

One of two things will happen that will shape the future of this franchise, he will coach the bad decisions out of JW or JW will prove he’s not coachable. If we had a HC with less credentials, we could blame the coaching, with BA that is universally impossible. Which gives the final decision (results) credibility.

I hope JW can get it, because that means we will be winning sooner than later. If he doesnt, I wouldn’t want any other coach picking and developing our next QB than BA.

BA has full decision making to get the groceries he wants, Licht is now a supporting role rather than a driving force. I am certain we would have a different roster if we had more than two nickels to rub together. Next year the cap will be wide open for us. Then we will see those changes manifest under his decision making.

I don’t get caught up in semantics of reload vs rebuild. Either way, we all know it will take way longer than 6 games to achieve the desired results.

So TMax, those are some of the reasons why….

    In BA I Trust!
