The Saints D just shut the Cowboys down. Best OL in football. The issue is not our O. Our awful D, primarily Vernon, gives up the first down on every 3rd down. Thus not only do saints score but they also eat up the clock.

Some things never change… for whatever reason regardless of talent level or coaching we can never put together more than a couple gamed in a row. Just play well enough for a game o two at a time to make you think we may be turning the corner. As for evans.. well past history tells e he’s almost always open even if it doesn’t look that way..to some extent you kind of have to give him at least a chance to make some plays.. and for coaching you have to try to be creative to find ways to move him around and whatnot.. also this team has way too many other weapons for them to cover everyone.. where’s Howard and brate? Of course I recognize the one area we really lack talent is the secondary so our d is being exposdd but on offense this is poathetic… no reason we should be stalling so much

NDOG – OH PLEASE. The Saints just had a hot run of sacks on our last drive but for the REST OF THE FREAKING GAME Winston has sucked holding the ball and not trusting his routes. He’s had plenty of chances in this game to have time to throw.
You Jameis-Homers always love to selectively take ‘parts’ of the game, like a few breakdowns in blocking, to make it out like Jameis hasn’t had ANY time to throw all game. 100% FALSE.
The Bucs wouldn’t be in this position if Winston hadn’t only passed for 105 total yards in the game before that Godwin 26 yarder on the last drive.

Jameis has targeted Evans today all of like 3 times. That’s on Winston. Winston has to be able to trust routes and throw the ball BEFORE Evans gets open. That’s what slants, ins, comebacks, and fades are. Leftwich is calling those routes often, they can easily be seen. Yet Winston doesn’t deliver the ball because he’s afraid to make a mistake AND he know his accuracy is suspect.

Why can’t our fan base just tip their cap to the other team. This Saints team went on the road and won in Seattle. They just down the Dallas offense last week…our defense still has a lot of flaws..If they don’t create turnovers – its going to be tough sledding.
The Saints cover very well – Plus, they got pressure without blitzing…JW holds the ball to see if someone gets open…they dont and he takes the sack. I’ll take it…as the season progresses it will be nice to see him make the decision quicker to run or throw the ball away…but we didnt lose today because JW took sacks. The Saints are better than us right now…

Very ugly 2nd half for the Bucs.
We got guys that can make plays and we we gave ourself plenty of opportunity to get back in it.
But at the end of the freaking day our weaknesses are extremely weak. So weak that they are not good enough to mount any comebacks with.
I am looking at you secondary and OL.
I was glad that Bruce pulled Dotson after he got thrown bellyup by Davenport but now we know why he stuck with him so long. His backup looked helpless out there.
At least with the OL we have saw better games and have a reasonable hope for improvement. With our secondary I’m pretty scared at this point we cannot cover anything…..At all……..It feels like if our DL does not take over the game our secondary has no chance to ever make any play to help this team win.
This secondary is disturbing at this point.
