We all deserve better. I know we all get on to each other about complaining about the multitude of complaints we have. Byron has OJ on offense and has no earthly clue how to utilize the mismatch. Just trade OJ at this point. There are about 30 teams that would be interested that are smart enough to know the value of an OJ especially if they had another 7 million dollar tight end on the team. We have about 2000 coaches on this team and nobody figured out that, hey, if we get OJ involved the defense won’t be able to take M.E. out of the game. Like DB55 says but WTFDIK

Surprisingly, I only count two errant throws by Jameis all day. The first INT was ugly and on him, the 2nd INT and the two fumbles were on the OL (yeah I know he held it too long but he had pressure on him from the moment he got the ball). So, can’t pin this one all on Winston. He’s actually looked extremely sharp when he’s had a chance to throw.

The offense did make a adjustment and started limiting the pressure. And then we started driving the ball.
And that’s when Winston committed 2 unnessary fumbles and lost us points. A moment of the game that could of been our turning point was squandered by our QB twice.
You cannont take points off the board on those plays. Winston has a complete lack of in game situations. If he don’t mount a comeback this is 2 games out of 6 he has lost for this team.

We can’t win with this line and Winston. We might as well start over with a new rookie QB cheap contract and build up the offensive line over a couple of drafts using the cap room. You can talk about wasted potential and squandered opportunities and Winston’s talent but he just flat out hasn’t earned the second contract. Maybe it is Winston’s fault maybe not, but more cap room and an offensive line helps this team more than a 28+ million/year contract for Winston does. He would not be the first Heisman winner to not pan out in the NFL this isn’t the end of the world.

Vernon Hargreaves is not a good corner, he will be gone next year as well, but he is better than Murphy, and Smith at this point.
Our depth at OL it terrible and Licht deserves the blame.
And I think if Mike Evans was on a good team, a playoff team, those criticisms about his drops at inopportune times would be an even bigger focus. Fair criticism.
However,
Arians is in his 6 game with this team. Jameis Winston has played 61 games as the QB for this franchise. He turns the ball over consistently. He doesn’t elevate talent. He is inaccurate with the football consistently. The OL didn’t cause that first interception. QB’s are trained early on to protect the football outside of the pocket, he had two fumbles on the same drive. That drop by Evans should have been caught but if he throws that more on Mike’s inside shoulder we are looking at a different situation.
Jameis is not the answer, and people will see that when he is off this roster next season and either a back up somewhere else next year or a stop gap starter for a team that doesn’t want to throw there rookie QB to the wolves.
Oh and while typing this Jameis threw another interception because he didn’t read the defense post snap.

I’d say Tank for Tua but that would be useless. As an NFL and Bucs fan since 1976, I can say with absolute certainty that we will remain awful as long as the Glazer kids own this franchise. They’ve ruined Man U as well. They have zero self-awareness and do not care. No coach or GM can fix this mess because the Glazers simply have no clue how to pick either, or to run a professional sports franchise. The merciful thing for them to do would be to sell the team, pocket the billion dollars, and ride off into the sunset. But they won’t. Sad.

And I have been focusing a lot on D.White today.
He is a really bad player today that has made a lot of mistakes and bad plays. He does not read plays well and does not see the field well at all.
His impact to this defense is a negative one. I won’t be giving up on the guy any time soon but his future leaves not much to be desired which is a very bad sign from a #5 overall selection.
I guess I’ll just hope it’s growing pains? What else can you say?
