  1. Buccernutter Says:

never been more confident in a coach before

  2. Defense Rules Says:

I’m ‘Very Confident’ in BA, but I’d be even more confident is he was more involved in helping to create the gameplans. Was totally surprised when he said that he stays out of that now. Not sure that’s such a good thing after Sunday.

  3. DB55 Says:

    Meh.

I thought Dirk Koetter was calling the shots on Saturday.

Plus starting Dotson and Cappa is just unforgivable. Not bringing in starters for the RG and RT position is unacceptable. And DSmith looks like he’s next man on the offensive lineman completely sucks.

Anyone see the hit Q Nelson put on that defender in SD? Meh

  4. DB55 Says:

    *Sunday

The question was a bit vague… I voted very confident as a football coach…. however his chances of turning Jameis into something markedly different than what we have seen in his time in Tampa… I don’t think BA can correct Jameis’s flaws…the sad reality

  6. BetterBucFan Says:

He’s here to collect a check and retire.

  7. 813bucboi Says:

    very confident

    GO BUCS!!!!

  8. D-Rome Says:

I’m totally confident with Bruce Arians. Totally confident that he and his staff will do the best job they can with the players they have. No matter what happens this season he should get the pass.

  9. StonedBuc Says:

Not confident in winston.. If we jad any pther qb we would have won…

  10. macabee Says:

That run on first down every 4 down series was very much like Koetter. Hope that doesn’t become predictable. However, one game is not enough to label anything.

  11. WestChap Says:

All that “ignore your lying eyes, JW had a great game” nonsense torpedoed my Totally Confident to just Confident. He was just saying that to give Ol’ Jameis a boost… right?

  12. Old School Athlete Says:

    @alteredego
    Well said. I agree.

  13. BuccaneEric75 Says:

I voted confident, but I would prefer a letter grade poll after the games. I’d give him an F for not having his team prepared to play. Too many penalties and routes being run wrong. Wether the Sherman pick6 is his fault or not, it’s not the point. If it was Winston’s fault, that’s on him. If it wasn’t, then both Evans blown hot route and Barbers bad route were at fault. Not prepared. The offense was struggling and BA took 3 points away to go for the TD. Not good. At least the D looks better. B grade for Todd.

  14. DislocatedBucsFan Says:

    No confidence in JW3

  15. Tbbucs3 Says:

    Confident in BA

0 Confidence with Jason Licht. Not 1

  16. Dubcity6 Says:

Just a reminder. The man has proved nothing. Bucs fans are dying for something to believe in.

  17. Rayjay1122 Says:

Little confidence. If He replaces Winston, take a new vote.

  18. Clw JB Says:

We are Bucs fans, we are conditioned to see the sky falling, as it has far more often than not during our love affair with said Bucs

So, I am confident in BA as a coach, just not so confident in the owners, GM, trainers, doctors and anyone else not named Arians or Bowles…

The display we saw Sunday was putrid, we should have dominated that lowly franchise..and that rests squarely on BA’s plate

He has been spewing his love for JW and we all saw the EXACT SAME JW that we have watching for 4 years now…

I was the first to defend JW due to his age at the time of drafting and expecting too much from him, but Sunday I saw Josh Freeman come back to life

  19. orlbucfan Says:

Voted Confident because of Bowles and Matt Gay. BArians still hasn’t totally convinced me on the offense, but it’s the first game of a 16 game season. Bucs have their usual non cupcake schedule, too.

  20. Justin Roberts Says:

jameis Winston threw more touchdowns Sunday for the 49ers, than he did for the buccaneers.. over the course of jameis career as a Tampa bay buccaneer he has throw 89 touchdowns and 61 interceptions. Imagine The turnover margin if I tossed in his fumbles lost in there as well. Oh how counter productive he would look at the quarterback position.. Which leads me into answering your question on the confidence we have in Bruce Arians, as the bucs head coach I have good confidence but keeping jameis in at quarterback makes my confidence in him vanish. So it’s easy to say low confidence in him. But strictly by his choice in the leader Of the offense.

  21. LargoBuc Says:

How can I be confident in Arians after that spit. Little confidence until the offense looks like they give a dam. It would have been no confidence had the defense not had a decent game.
DB55 fun fact Koetter was 2-0 vs San Francisco.

  22. Louis Friend Says:

Bruce Arians grades after one game:

    Coaching – TBD

Ability to massage egos and kick ass: A+

Ability to spin horrible on field decisions away from the starting QB: Hall of Fame

  23. Loyaltotheend Section 312 Says:

Little confidence until he takes over the play calling

Leftwich has done nothing to earn it and in his 9 games as a play caller averages 13 points a game

  24. BucEmUp Says:

My vote would be 100 percent confident in Bruce Arians the coach. Little did I kmow we were getting Bruce Arians the delegator. Confidence in Leftwhich 0.001 percent.

  25. Brad Says:

I’m very confident that he won’t watch the Byron Leftwich experiences for too long

  26. FortMyersDave Says:

Hard to be confident when the team was simply unprepared to play. I mean as inept as Koetter was he did manage to open with wins vs the ATL, Bears, and Saints if memory serves me right. This gag job was closer to what Lovie rolled out vs a bad Titans team when they got boat raced in Jameis first game. Oh yeah and both openers also featured pick 6s by Jameis. This was a winnable game if the Bucs simply minimized the bonehead penalties. San Fran might look back at this game as one that cost them a high slot in the 2020 draft as they simply do not have much talent yet the Bucs figured out a way to lose….. Might be time to start scouting qbs in the college ranks.

  27. NOSBOS Says:

    What BucEmUp said.

  28. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

Little confdent. Because as I’ve been saying: Show Me. Don’t Tell Me

And one game in has shown me nothing.

Well, it did show me an improved defense and kicking, but I mean the whole product.

  29. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

FortMyersDave san fran has some top talent…on defense.

  30. Barack's Crack Pipe Says:

    Confident

Every area in which we hoped for improvement has improved (run blocking, run defense, defensive backfield, tackling, kicker). The only area we were good in (passing game) seems to have regressed. So far, special teams overall is a push. That is more improvements than losses. It should work out in our favor.

  31. ModHairKen Says:

Not at all confident in Arnold Jackson’s playcalling.

  32. T REX Says:

We paid for Arian’s playcalling and offense and got Walmart bargain bin special…Leftwich.

    Bait and switch.

This is going to end badly.

  33. belgianbuc27 Says:

I would bring in 6’7″ 245 lbs, Tyree Jackson. In his career at Buffalo, he threw for 7,000 yards and 49 touchdowns, as well as rushed for 757 yards and 16 touchdowns. Maybe Bruce can help raise that completion rating from 55.8…
He also is only 21 years old.. might be a good project to stash away on the practice squad?

  34. AlteredEgo Says: Your comment is awaiting moderation. Says:

How about a poll on Jameis….
