Sling TV is also a great option for streaming, they’re the cheapest option at like $35 a month I think – and with the $10/month sports pack you get NFL Redzone, which by itself is worth the money. Vue is also very good but more expensive I do believe.

Why would they even delay the game, I’m looking at the lightning in the area and there’s been nothing for a solid 15 mins or so. This is more of the womanizing of football, ruining the game to appeal to a bunch of soccer moms who think everything is dangerous. There was literally no reason to stop when they did.

I don’t think the delay is an advantage to either team. It hurts both because they have to get prepared to play again. If anything, I’d think it benefits Carolina because we had momentum after the turnover on downs.

DB55 – It did look like it was a really hot pass if it was meant for Perriman and I saw Godwin right behind him. If he’s throwing a bit low because he’s worried about it being to high, then yeah, that would make sense on why there was so much heat on it. Hard to say though in real time with just a TV view from one bad angle.

I kind of like this angle behind the line – it makes it a lot easier to read the field, at least closer to the LOS. It’s hard to gauge depth on the passing plays, but for runs you can really see the blocking pretty clearly.

I’m amazed at how little the last game affected me.

I know I’ve been all #ShowMeDon’tTellMe all off season, but I’m also patient. I know it will take a few games for things to settle in. We have TWO new systems being implemented. It won’t happen instantly.

Alvin Scissors Harper, if Jameis can get in the habit of quick throws, his production will improve. After that, the rest will be easier.
We’ll have to put up with some short passes at first, but as he gets used to it, the passes will go further.
I believe Jameis has it in him to be elite, but he is not close to it…yet. I know, this is his 5th year…but it’s also his first year with coaches who teach. That’s why I said 6-8 games…let’s see if they can turn things around for him. The team can still win as he grows.

Jeffbuc – Leftwich has been very predictable so far, and very conservative, but again, we’re less than 6 quarters into the season. You do sometimes setup plays later in the game by being more conservative early, the old establish the run to setup the pass, so hopefully that’s his idea. But he does tend to get really conservative very quickly, so if there is one good play on a drive, he goes right into a shell. But it’s very very early in the year – lets see where we are in 6 weeks.

Leftwich is making JW warm the right to be the guy. It’s 4 years too late, and it comes at a short term cost, but it may ultimately be the way to reclaim our QB. Put the training wheels on, let the rest of the team carry the load, and pick your spots with jW while he learns to control the aggression and make better decisions. I hate it tonight, but it’s hard to argue it if JW is to be the long term answer behind center.

TampaTown – Evans lead the NFL in yards per catch, who cares if he goes to the ground. He literally had a higher average per catch than Tyreek Hill. Evans will be fine, but I just don’t think he’s anywhere close to 100% yet after the stomach virus.

BetterBucFan – Leftwich so far hasn’t called these games very well, in fact he’s been pretty awful, but it’s early in his run. Give him some time and lets see where we are.
Also when your defense is playing this well, offenses tend to play it safe and boring.
So long as we get the W, all is well.
