This is precisely what is wrong with so many of these so-called football fans that we have in Tampa Bay. At least those that are the nattering negativists and trolls we find here on on a frequent basis. They are all “short people, with short little attention spans”. They have terrible mental habits.
I am an old f#rt who happens to be short in stature. 😉
I have continued to work on myself even though I am retired from my career. I am old enough to have resisted the worst of what “sound byte” media does to a person if you let it. I actually make time to study football and my Bucs especially. I am still learning all of the time. I work at becoming more knowledgeable about football every year. I take the time to analyze and digest and then analyze some more. These folks jump to a conclusion and then move on immediately to regurgitate and never re-examine their own opinions.
I am not talking about the majority of football fans in Tampa Bay.

It definitely means something that Jameis was the #1 pick
Means the team thought he was the best player in the draft and a qb who could elevate a bad team. They were wrong but it’s compounded by other qbs coming in all over the league and playing better than him
All that pre draft hype of a leader, pro ready and high football IQ gave fans false hope he was the answer
Not saying he’s not but after 56 games can’t say he is either
