Happy Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s all rolled into one!
What can Joe say about the Fourth of July holiday. It might be Joe’s favorite; the only thing missing is live football.
The day is all about fun, hitting the beaches, hitting the water, drinking like a fish, grilling cattle, hog, chicken, buffalo and more, and at the end of the day, watching people blow up stuff (which drives howling pets throughout [oh, no] Pasco County running for pillows to shred).
It is also the height of summer when women wearing scant clothing to show off their bronzed bodies. What’s wrong with this picture? Not one freaking thing.
Celebrate your freedoms, Bucs fans. Joe hopes all his readers have a helluva day and enjoy this extra long weekend to celebrate Uncle Sam’s birthday.
And remember, when the weekend ends, we’ll be two weeks away from training camp!

Happy 4th guys! If you’re playing with fireworks be safe! I never take a stand on firecrackers and such because of all the pleasure we derived from them in my youth. Now that I’m an old “experienced” geezer I just hate to be that guy who tells younger folks things not to do after enjoying all the fun himself. But as JPP reminds us…be careful.
And on this day of “Freedom” I hope the Bucs are free of two things in 2019….injuries and any off field controversy.

The 4th is a special day to me and my family. My sixteen month year old was blowing kisses to aunt ally. As the fireworks blew high I thought about the times of my grandfather who served and died later due to a bad blood transfusion in our own states. Or to my other grandfather who took a Japanese rifle from another in search of our freedom. To the days I drove to Patrick Air Force base only to be mocked on why I was not capable to serve my own country due to my credit score. Life has a funny way of protecting. I say salute to you boys and gals!
