Lavonte David On Suh
May 31st, 2019From one Cornhusker to another, a Bucs linebacker has no issues with the team signing one of its most famous alumni.
Bucs linebacker Lavonte David did not play with Ndamukong Suh at Nebraska. David came to the Lincoln campus as Suh left for the NFL.
But David knows all about Suh and spoke about how Suh will help the Bucs to the local pen and mic club after underwear football practice today.
“He will be a great complement to the young guys in the room,” David said. “And [Suh’s resume] speaks for itself what he has done. He’s been to a Super Bowl. He’s been to Pro Bowls, been an All-Pro. He’s going to be a force to be reckoned with.”
David got to know Suh through functions connected with Nebraska. The two struck up a friendship and keep in contact. But David noted he didn’t have to talk to Suh to know what kind of player the Bucs are getting.
Now coach Bucco Bruce Arians is on record saying he will use Suh as an attacker and not waste him just tying up two or three offensive linemen.
Only time will tell how exactly Suh will be used. But if he ties up two or three blockers in an effort to get to the quarterback, that will go a long way into helping what looks to be a woeful pass rush in the wake of Jason Pierre-Paul’s fractured neck.

Seems like all the McFlurries are extremely but hurt today. Awwww crying me a river.

I guess I’m a McFlurry because I didn’t want to see GMC leave. But he’s gone and I’m over it. Go Suh!

MMM McFlurries, so sweet. Without the sugar rush maybe LVD wont be dancing on the sidelines when down a few scores anymore.

Do you guys even realize how elated McCoy is right now. He is touring the NFL and is getting plastered all over ESPN for hours a day. Everybody is begging you to give their opinions of Gerald and talk about his ProBowls. His Twitter name and his big gorgeous smile is scrolling over TV screens Nationwide.
My guess is that Gerald is on Cloud 9 right now and he gonna milk this as much as possible.
I’m on the edge of my seat over here obsessed with any shred of detail that comes out!

What Atl said^^^. Further not sure I’m a fan anymore (he’s not on the team), but I think it’s a punk move to make up stuff constantly on him when he was on the team. Even more of a punk move to bring him up on every thread now that he’s gone. What did he do to (using the sophomoric term) butt hurt you so much that you can’t type one sentence without throwing salt on him? Why can’t you posers get past a guy who is gone? If you can’t be civil, how about some basic self respect? Think about how you look…your credibility. Go Bucs!

Wanna bet fans will look back and see Suh as the “splash signing.” And we hear very little about McCoy?

Somebody didn’t listen to Arians, he does not do splash signings, he makes signing to make the team better.
Most are over GMC as a Buc, but that doesn’t mean we don’t wish him well. Can anyone blame GMC, first time he is truly being recruited since HS.
I also thought Suh spoke pretty highly of his buddy.

McCoy might be going to Carolina.
The Panthers just restructured one of their receivers contract, freeing up nearly 4 million.
I still will be surprised if McCoy gets much over 8 million.
