So where is exactly is the emphasis through the spring at One Buc Palace, led by new head coach Bucco Bruce Arians?
Joe was very pleased to hear a real football answer from the new head coach.
When Joe says “real football answer,” that means nothing said about leadership and intangibles.
“I think offensively, is to understand our pass protections. Know where our sights are, know where our hots are …just the basic rules of our pass protections,” Arians told SiriusXM NFL Radio. You can work on those things; it’s hard to work on your running game until we put pads on. You know, defensively, again, know your job. Just know your job, that accountability will come with it. Don’t try to do to much.”
Arians added how much emphasis is on special teams currently, including a recent one-hour special teams practice.
Pass blocking, pass blocking, pass blocking. Ironically, that was an extreme obsession of Dirk Koetter’s.

Pretty sure every coach in the league is obsessed with pass blocking. What made Koetter weird was just how much he harped on RB’s abilities as blockers. Almost as though he valued their skills as blockers more than he did their skills as runners of the football.

if he isbig on pass blocking
(and on scoring points)
then the Suckaneers gonna need better O-Line
which will give you a running game, and with that better pass protection and with that better offense overall
(even play-calling gets easier: mixing run/pass/play-action-kind of plays)
but did the Suckaneers ever build the tenches (the richt way – instead of the Licht way hahaha) ????

@maxipad I’m not content with how this team is being run or do I accept all the loosing once again NO TRUTH. Being upset or crying or angry is a choice of feeling key word CHOICE. You wanna chose to cry cuz your team isn’t up to par ok then cry p***y. I choose not to cry. If we loose ok yea I’m upset for a sec then guess what the day an life goes on. We can’t control what this team does or does not do makes no sense to sit around a pout about it. I choose to be positive an not cry over thing it’s a choice which everyone has. I have chosen to be positive for all 43 years However,35 or 36 losing seasons have made some of even the best Bucs fans skeptical We reserve the right to complain because no matter what,we are the ones that absorb all the criticism when we wear our bucs gear on sundays.
