Leaders whether vocal or by example are expected to be the best. To work harder, show up early/stay late, be relentless in effort. When JPP showed up he said no one could consistently block him. When he was on the field he proved his point. There is a perfect picture of JPP standing close to McCoy on the Sideline during a hope game. JPP is sweating his A$$ off covered in dirt looking like he’d just gone to war. McCoy’s uniform is completely spotless not a hair out of place or even a bead of sweat. This is the simple version of what a leader is or in this case is NOT.
If it were up to certain people, GMC would not only be in the ROH but they’d give him a crown and scepter while kissing his feet. The guy is over rated and over paid But the way he is worshipped by some I wouldnt be surprised to see him in the ROH someday.

The RoH shouldn’t be decided by largest contracts. It should be according to play and leadership on the field. McCoy was an above average talent, but nothing about his career says that he should be immortalized. Being satisfied with your own performance as long as you “had fun” is antithetical to the concept of leadership.

Warrick Dunn should be in the ROH before GMC if we are basing this on community activities, etc. GMC has not done enough on the field to warrant ROH.
