“DeSean. Is. Gone!”

January 19th, 2019

Harsh words for America.

It sure smells like Bucs malcontent wide receiver DeSean Jackson has his agent working overtime.

And guess who is getting fed talking points to make it look like Jackson is being tortured and misused in Tampa Bay? Why none other than the NFL’s house organ, the NFL Network.

Joe is now convinced Jackson’s agent is doing the very same thing that Lovie Smith’s agent had done so well: Feed the right people at national sports outlets information that paints his client as being abused and mistreated and wronged to make it appear his client is a sympathetic figure.

Recently, former NFL star Willie McGinest — an NFL Network talking head who at least had the stones to admit he has a relationship with Jackson — went off on America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston, claiming Jameis is at fault for Jackson wanting out of Tampa Bay.

Now add former NFL wide receiver Steve Smith to the list. In a segment this morning on “Good Morning, Football,” Smith absolutely torched Jameis and went a step further than McGinest claiming the Bucs will rue the day they put their eggs in Jameis’ basket and tossed aside Jackson.

Smith specifically claimed the Bucs had plays drawn up for Jameis to throw to Jackson, but instead Jameis would throw to other receivers. Essentially, Smith accused Jameis of hanging Jackson out to dry on multiple occasions.

Now how the hell would Smith know this? Was he in the Bucs’ huddle on the field?

Was he in meeting rooms with the receivers (where Jackson preferred to take naps)? Was he in the locker room at any time at One Buc Palace or even at a practice? Joe sure cannot recall ever seeing Smith at One Buc Palace.

So how is Smith getting this information? Simple: He’s being fed by Jackson’s agent or Jackson himself. You know, talking points.

Later in the segment, Smith was asked if Jameis was the future quarterback of the Bucs, Smith loudly stated, “Hell no!”

Smith also said of the Jackson situation, “Bruce Arians is a fantastic offensive-minded coach. But you just can’t squeeze apple juice out of that lemon (Jameis). It just ain’t happening. It ain’t happening.

“DeSean. Is. Gone!”

Joe finds it more than interesting guys like McGinest and Smith (not to mention, the rest of the NFL Network gang) completely and totally overlook how Jackson slept in meetings, didn’t take notes, blew off meetings by playing cards (with Swaggy Baker no less!), and got into hassles with coaches and at one time, had to be held back from physically going after a coach.

Can you say, “Slanted coverage?”

So now it is fairly obvious we have Jackson’s agent working behind the scenes to smear the Bucs’ franchise quarterback. How quaint.

Yeah, after this latest stunt by Jackson’s camp, it’s best for Jackson to pack up his fishing gear and boat and get the hell back to the west coast.

As former Bucs great and Hall of Fame defensive tackle Warren Sapp said of this mess, “Hey, DeSean, y’all California receivers don’t like Florida that much?”

    Wow.

    Steve Smith is obviously racist.

  2. Jean Lafitte Says:

…and you know this how? All speculation. The same thing you’re accusing Smith of. Just watching film Smith sees a heck of a lot more than you or I. I can’t wait to see how many zombie sheep take up your mantle and pile on Steve Smith now?

  3. Krojen Says:

It’s becoming clear that DeSean turned into a sour teammate when he realized Jameis can only throw deep to slow guys with a wide catch radius.

Wish we could save Buc fans another few years of futility by dumping both of them. Maybe keeping Jameis another couple years will earn us the Clemson kid.

  4. Bird Says:

    Agree

    These guys are racist.
    Not allowed to criticize Jameis

Joe – aren’t you doing the same extensive smear campaign against DJax ?

  5. Mike Smith Says:

SS is just a Buc hater.
    #movingon

  6. Joe Says:

Just watching film Smith sees a heck of a lot more than you or I.

Baloney. Film doesn’t show who is supposed to be targeted. Even had NFL wide receivers tell Joe this years ago.

Claiming you know who is supposed to be targeted just by film is downright lying and making crap up. Unless you are on the headset or in the huddle, no one knows who was supposed to be targeted.

Did Steve Smith ever come to Tampa to sit down with coaches and break down film or come to the locker room to ask players what was supposed to happen on a given play? Joe’s never seen him at One Buc.

  7. Kobe Faker Says:

“Smith is a idiot and a poor mans TOwens but you have to admit

“you just can’t squeeze apple juice out of that lemon (Jameis)”

    is funny as hell”

    Kobe Faker

  8. Joe Says:

Joe – aren’t you doing the same extensive smear campaign against DJax ?

    Pppffftt!

Joe stands by every word he typed. Not one inaccurate word in this post.

  9. Season Is Over Says:

The “haters” are incorrigible. I think we should attack anyone questioning the new regime. There are clearly no concerns about the future of the team.

  10. Jim Says:

“Slanted”? In Joe’s (too) many rants on Jackson, not once is it mentioned that Jackson is a three-time pro-bowler, or anything about his charitable work in the community. That’s slanted. Both Arians and Beckles feel the Bucs offense is better with Jackson on the field. Can the franchise with the worst record in football really afford to drive off talent? Apparently so…

  11. Season Is Over Says:

    Was Martin the problem?

  12. Jonathan Lipnicki Says:

Steve Smith…great player…Buc irritant for many years…and a sucker-punchin’ knd a guy taking a verbal one at JW.

  13. Joe Says:

“Slanted”? In Joe’s (too) many rants on Jackson, not once is it mentioned that Jackson is a three-time pro-bowler, or anything about his charitable work in the community. That’s slanted.

Speaking of slanted, Joe’s mentioned that before.

  14. Kalind Says:

This was my concern when we got djax. The guy is a pain in the rear. Get what you can for him. Personally, I’d take less to send him to Buffalo. Just so he can freeze his a$$ off in a miserable place.

Here’s hoping when Licht gets a crap trade deal he takes it and tweets “this is the best I could get and all anyone thinks your worth. Enjoy the weather in buffalo Desean.”

Don’t let the door hit you.

  15. Season Is Over Says:

Did you ask Jackson why was Winston throwing to the other receivers and not him?

  16. Dewey Selmon Says:

Jackson hung out to dry? Ask Godwin about this. That dude knows what it’s like to be hung out to dry.

  17. OneBuc55 Says:

Steve Smith has never had one good thing to say about anything involving the Tampa Bay Bucs in general…

Jackson isn’t even worth the trouble; you’re talkin about a guy who almost telegraph’s your offense…when he’s on the field you automatically know it’s a passing play when he’s not on the field you know nine times out of 10 it’s a running play…

Also people have to consider the fact that Willie McGinest and Steve Smith are California guys they’re going to stick up for their Cali buddy MeSean…Honestly speaking, I really did like Steve Smith as a player; that being said, he is a loud mouth whose input is usually just his obnoxious opinion and not so much facts…

Bottom line, we all know that Jameis isn’t perfect but for god sakes let’s not act as if DeSean Jackson is the perfect receiver; hes far from that

  18. Darin Says:

I’m confused as to why Smith thinks Djax has a say in it. He is under contract. Yes i know they wont keep the bum but its not his call.

  19. Bird Says:

Funny. People are smearing Steve Smith now.

He is one of the greatest undersized receivers of all time. Tough as nails. He killed the Bucs for years.

I don’t always agree with his opinions but I respect it. Now people are trying to say he is no good.

    😂

  20. Thegregwitul Says:

It’s possible that we as fans do not know the entire story, even with the reports by the Joes and the stuff coming from the talking heads on the NFL Network, but I still think D-Jax was in the wrong this season.

Winston has had deep ball accuracy issues, absolutely, but what about Jackson running off the field after a win earlier this season? How about the reports of Jackson knocking things over in the locker room and focusing solely on his production? I fully believe that D-Jax caused a riff in the locker room because he preferred Fitzpatrick to be the starting QB.

I’m hoping with Bruce Arians and staff on board that the team and especially Jameis Winston can tune out the outside chatter. Winston deservedly so has a lot of critics. The best thing to do is focus on the new offense and continue to build and strengthen the rapport with Evans, Godwin, Hump, OJ, Brate, Bobo and Justin Watson.

I don’t see D-Jax back and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s pulling this crap on a new team next season.

  21. Duthsty Rhothdes Says:

Im guessing that there is part of this story is true. Jameis is not a quick twitch quick reacting guy, djax was open so many times and jamesi could never connect. Will the commish call smith a racist for the comments. All blame on licht for bringing in an elite top end speed guy who wouldnt fit w the bucs current franchise qb. Hope BA builds offense to JW strengths

  22. Bird Says:

It’s ok to trash GMC , obviously DJax, say Evans is overrated , trash our rookie draft picks , trash the coaching daily , the organization yada yada yada

But if you say something about Jameis , it’s “hate”
What has this turned into here?

  23. alanpewterking Says:

I get tired of people who think they know exactly what’s going on in the Bucs locker room and spreading their opinion like it’s gospel. Ok so Desean Jackson didn’t work. So what! I liked the idea of him coming here but some people talk like he is Jerry rice or something!

  24. Couch Fan Says:

This doesnt really tell us anything even if its true. For instance maybe Dajx was covered on the plays in question?… A lot of hot air without much facts to back them up. Of course the haters are going to running their big mouths LMAO.

  25. TexBuc Says:

Without know what the play call was and what that play designates as 1st, 2nd, and 3rd reads are NO ONE can evaluate and critique the QB. Just because someone saw something on TV does not automatically make one an expert WITHOUT know what the play was.
Example Cowboys playoff game against the Rams WR Cooper is wide open for a touchdown and the TV shot shows FS running to try and make a play on what appears a blown coverage by FS. After the play is shown again the announcer correct their first call blaming FS and showed the CB is the one who made the mistake.

  26. Rayjay1122 Says:

There are 2 sides to every story and the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

  27. Jeff Says:

Get rid of Jackson now! He’s garbage. And Steve Smith is a punk. Look into his background and you’ll see he’s a bad teammate and violent.

    http://articles.latimes.com/2002/nov/23/sports/sp-nflrep23

  28. Duthsty Rhothdes Says:

Bird right on…. just a lil somein on game film, high schools have game film from many views that kids can share, coaches share, etc. So pretty sure djax and anyone at theNFL network can watch any angle of a game, so pretty sure steve smith knows the route concepts & what the reads are supposed to be & can see if djax is or is not open or could be thrown open

  29. BucsLife Says:

I can look at replays and see that MeSean doesn’t make any attempt to catch a ball unless it drops in his hands. When was the last time you saw him stretch out for a ball or, God forbid, try for a diving catch? I’ll wait…

  30. Gary Eddins Says:

Why has DJackson has been s problem for every team he’s been on? Because he can’t keep his mouth shut and play football. He’s been a crybaby everywhere he’s been. No NFL teams let go a top WR unless theirs a problem.

  31. TexBuc Says:

Last game the 2017 season against NO Saints Winston threw a TD to Goodwin to win game as time ran out. Koetter was upset with Winston because Goodwin was not the 1st read on that play, so how would ANYONE know what the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd read was by watching film?

  32. Topcoach1978 Says:

When whoever in the media gives JW props you co sign and use it as information to help support JW but when former players who commentating talk down on JW you whine and cry! Lol

  33. ed Says:

Jackson is who he is, a receiver who runs by defensive backs. You have to be able to throw the ball to where he’s going, not where he is when you make your read and release the ball. Damn we all watch Jameis throw ropes 20-25 yards downfield. When he sees an open receiver and lets it rip the ball gets there right away, usually accurately. Anticipation throws with ball traveling more than 40-50 yards in the air are something That Winston has never done well. Look at quarterbacks who had success with Jackson, they all had a better deep ball and could get the ball where he was running to

  34. Waterboy Says:

Doesn’t MeJax and Jameis share the same agent? If it’s the agent feeding the media those stories I’d be looking for a new agent if I were Jameis.

Willie McGinest and Steve Smith are both from the Los Angeles area along with MeJax. I’d put my money on MeJax directly feeding them information.

  35. Tampabaybucfan Says:

    “DeSean is Gone!”

Now, that depends on what the meaning of “is” is.

  36. rrsrq Says:

Funny thing is this, it’s not up to DJax, the on,y thing he can do is not show up and lose money, he can ask for but not get traded, he can be a malcontent and get suspended with fines, he can come back and be the player we thought we were getting with this new coaching regime, but all in all, it’s not up to Djax

  37. DaPostman Says:

Yawn, Steve Smith has an opinion just like 320 million other Americans. More likely Jameis Winston will still be a Buccaneer long after MeSean has retired to the wr ash bin. Odds are MeSean will be a Buccaneer footnote long before Jameis Winston retires as a Buccaneer. Bank on it.

  38. Oneilbucs Says:

Man why do people think that Jackson is the same player he was at 25 years old? I saw line backers running him down in full strive. When the other teams had him he was younger and would out run those guys. But now the pass has to be perfect for him cause the dbs now can keep up with him now cause he’s now 33 or 32 years old he’s not as fast as he used to be. Let him go Jamies played better without him. I’m more of a fan of the hold team not quarterback. I know Jamies is good enough to win with we are not 1 quarterback away from wining !!!!!! Rogers has 35 TDs and 5 interceptions and the Packers still didn’t make the playoffs. So there’s your proof that quarterbacks is a over rated position on a football team. You win with good teams not quarterbacks !!!!!

  39. Not there yet Says:

D jackass is gone? I don’t think his contract says and and the bucs can do whatever they want. Nfl network is always slanted and everyone knows they don’t like the bucs anyway so they are loving this story

  40. 407buc Says:

So we call play to throw to one WR nowadays ?What if the safety is shading that way? That’s a dumb agent talking there

  41. NPRSageBoy Says:

JsyMiss and DJax on the outside? Here’s a simple solution; dump BOTH of them. Life’s too short for this kinda BS.

  42. stpetebucsfan Says:

    @Joe

Could you educate some of us on exactly what a trade would require.

First another team in the league has to believe a malcontent aging WR is worth ten million…am I correct?

Second…the only way around the first point would be if the Bucs agreed to pick up some of DJAX’S 10 million?

Third…if they did I imagine but do not know that whatever portion the Buc’s picked up would count against our cap.

Fourth…it seems that cap consideration along with cash would mean we simply cut DJAX.

  43. TexBuc Says:

As Dirk found out Teams will always chose the QB over a HC and will do the same over a WR.

  44. BUC IT Says:

Desean was sour to Jameis before the year even started. That showed when he backed fitz to keep the starting job to begin the year

  45. LUVMYBUCS Says:

    88 Touch Downs
    74 Turnovers

    Nuff Said

  46. Old School Athlete Says:

Looks like the NFL Network is going the way of the rest of the national sports media – never missing an opportunity to insult the TB area.
    “Jameis is inaccurate”.
” He has off field issues”
    “The trop is a dump”.
    “Nobody goes to the games”
“How can you have a good hockey team in Florida?”
This is why I watch very little national media anymore, outside of live broadcasts. Regardless of what they say, all of our major sports teams are trending upward, and the Bucs finally have some real leadership. Who cares what someone in New York thinks about it?

  47. WalkdaPlank Says:

“Now how the hell would Smith know this? Was he in the Bucs’ huddle on the field?”

Gee, I don’t know, the man was just a wide receiver his whole life. What would he know about NFL huddles and routes and visual chemistry between QB’s and WR’s. Certainly with that experience he wouldn’t know more than armchair GM’s on a Bucs site or the guy who runs the site.

Come on, not all plays are the same but not all are different either. You really think it would be hard for a guy like Steve Smith to watch a play and say “Huh, looks to me like DJax was supposed to be the 1st look there” considering he’s probably ran some of the same plays or close to it?

The tension between the Jameis and DJax connection is obvious on the field. We’ve all seen DJax not fight for Winston passes like a clown so why is it not believable that Winston might have turned a blind eye to him on some plays?

Joe I don’t want Jackson here anymore than you do, he’s a diva and when he doesn’t get the separation he wants or needs he will give up on a jump ball even if it’s 1-on-1. And Jameis is going to be our QB next year so we can’t have that. But this article ain’t it chief.

  48. WalkdaPlank Says:

    “88 Touch Downs
    74 Turnovers

    Nuff Said”

But, but, but….look how young he is!!!

  49. Bob in Valrico Says:

Personally think the situation with DJAX has gotten out of hand. He has taken things to a new level with his bad mouthing the team.
That said , Jameis has admitted that he intended to throw to certain receivers at times.
One occasion was when he stated he had to get a touchdown for BoBo. Another
was when he admitted to throwing to Evans too much so he could break 1000
yards in a previous season. Is anybody else puzzled why he had to wait till the last minute to help Mike break the mark?
I believe Jameis is improving his accurracy to Evans and Godwin on deeper
patterns but this trio of coaches needs to get more out of him on deep patterns to speedy receivers.
To the people that think that Djax should have made more effort to catch some of Jameis less than accurrate throws, I will say this as an example.
Earlier in VJAX career he would extend and dive to catch balls on his fingertips but as an aging veteran he had to try and protect his body a little more much like I believe DJAX was trying to do during his time here.

  50. Bucs fan #7423 Says:

D Jackson you were the BEST receiver we ever had that didn’t use properly because our quarterback is GARBAGE!!!!!

Sorry we wasted your time in Tampa, but please take Glazer cash as compensation for dealing with a stupid idiot quarterback

#7423 wishes you the best and hopes you score many more touchdowns in your career

  51. Wesley Says:

    Fake news.

  52. Bobby M. Says:

His own peers didn’t vote him a captain AND those that play against him voted him most overrated…..I don’t think folks are “out to get Jameis”….He’s a bizarre dude evidenced in how he handled the Uber situation. Koetter has gone on record while still coaching the Bucs that Winston wasn’t running the plays that were called….on multiple occasions. I don’t but what Winston is selling, he’s shown nothing but the same old antics he did in college. People will tolerate a lot if you’re winning….he doesn’t win.

  53. TexBuc Says:

    Bobby

If you dislike Winston that is great, but please stop with spreading BS.

Kirk Cousin was the top voted most overrated and Eli Manning was the second-most overrated, while Joe Flacco, Matt Ryan, Matthew Stafford, Tom Brady, Derek Carr, Andy Dalton, Dak Prescott, Jameis Winston and Sam Bradford had multiple votes as well.

  54. AKickInTheBucNuts Says:

    Buh, Bye.

  55. Bucsfanman Says:

    Yawn! This is getting monotonous!
It is an absolute FACT that DJax was misused, otherwise, Koetter would probably still have a job. Feel free to view Jackson’s body of work. Diva? Sure. Accomplished WR? Absolutely.
BUT, feel free to continue trying to debunk his and Smith’s accomplishments.
Eventually, we will move on and forget about this horror show.

  56. First Down Tampa Bay Says:

Steve Smith just hates the Bucs in general. This is the same guy who said we wouldn’t get our first win until week 7…

  57. FortMyersDave Says:

Bucsfanman: Koetter was on the red hot seat the minute he retained that POS Smittie as his DC. The day after he refused to fire him when a mediocre Chicago QB hung 38 in a half on his D was when the Glazer’s probably starting making phone cals but I still do not understand why everyone let the nimrod coach the ATL game after the bye. Me thinks Dirk threw in the towel when he stuck up for his friend. Dirk was also the nimrod who made the cancer who fell asleep in meetings known as Djax a team captain…. I certainly hope that Koetter poisons the ATL and watch them go 4-12 if or when his schemes get Ryan busted up…. DJax was a cancer that should have been traded for a draft pick last year given the fact that he was about as useful to the Bucs as trolls are to this message board… Cancers bring everything down y’all…..

  58. tmaxcon Says:

Bucs are laughingstock that struggles dealing with talent. Bucs have to earn respect on field before receiving respect. Bucs have not been respected since sapp walked out rhe door.

  59. Nprbuc Says:

Did Smith notice in his film study that MeSeans arms have shrunk from 37 inches to only 18 inches in the Florida heat? Not only has he become shortarmed but the springs in his legs have also rusted up. Ever see him elevate and fight for a ball? Me either. Goodbye to a bad teammate by all reports. I don’t have any direct knowledge about his locker room antics but I know he showed me crap on the field unless he had 5 steps on a defender and the ball hit him in the gut.

  60. Nole4JabooANDdBucs Says:

Hmmm… Jameis and Djax supposely have the same agent!

  61. Nole4JabooANDdBucs Says:

Amazing enough OC. Leftwich said you can’t tell where the problem lies by looking…without knowing the play called and the route assigned. So if a couch can’t readily see who is at fault how can a person outside of the playcaller make that factual determination?

    Some are very short sighted…

  62. Joe Says:

Hmmm… Jameis and Djax supposely have the same agent!

Same agency. It’s not above an agent to sell out one of his clients to benefit another client. For example, Chucky and Jack Del Rio have the same agent and look what happened there.

This would suggest that Jackson is the guy feeding people at the NFL Network info then, wouldn’t it? 🙂

  63. Joe Says:

So if a couch can’t readily see who is at fault how can a person outside of the playcaller make that factual determination?

A coach AND a former QB.

You are on fire tonight man! Quality research!!!

  64. Deminion Says:

Djax never fought for the ball at all man sure JW3 missed him a lot but I’m amazed most of the ints Fitz and JW3threw we’re trying to force to Djax if the ball isnt on him
    Dude gives up

  65. JimmyJack Says:

Just get out Djax. Our passing offense was pretty danged good this year without you doing sheeeeet. We can easily do this without you and did it all year. The one part our passing game can get better is in the redzone and Jackson is one of the least redzone threats in the league.

Djax is nothing but a one trick pony. He’s a track star playing football. He is not elite or never will be because he can only beat you one way. Truely elite recivers can beat you in different ways depending on how they are defended.

Djax go join the overrated T.Y. Hilton in the “I am elite until they defend me” club.

And I hope your new team cannot run the football either so you may continue to get exposed.

  66. Genghis KWON Says:

Why are people defending Djax? The guy has a reputation for a toxic attitude in the locker room. That’s why he got released from both Philly and Washington and it’s why the Bucs will release him.

  67. stpetebucsfan Says:

It would be fitting if DJAX ended up on a team with Leveon Bell and Antonio Brown…the three stooges.

Imagine being a QB on that team and putting up with all the whining that these three dish out. What a locker room that trio could create! Lots of talent…perhaps best RB….two top WR’s but not much of a team. Just a collection of selfish arseholes with supreme talent…well Bell and Brown…DJAX is good not great.

And yet I feel certain that a number of posters here would think that’s a good thing.

  68. westernbuc Says:

    1) Criticisms of Joe for this article are incredibly stupid. It’s obvious DJax is on his own media blitz. Fact is he isn’t going to get paid somewhere else that’d he’d get this year in Tampa. He needs a scapegoat to justify the fact he didn’t earn his paycheck.

    2) No one that has actually watched Jameis/DJax would rather have DJax next year over Jameis. I’ve criticized Jameis as hard as anyone, and rightfully so, but the jury is still out on him. Not to mention, he’s a good teammate. DJax is on the backend of his career. Why the heck would I pick him over Jameis?

    3) It’s infuriating to me that these guys get to proclaim the dumbest sh- and no consequences. If Arians turns Jameis around, these fellas should be ridiculed for the remainder of their public life

  69. Joe Says:

No one that has actually watched Jameis/DJax would rather have DJax next year over Jameis. I’ve criticized Jameis as hard as anyone, and rightfully so, but the jury is still out on him. Not to mention, he’s a good teammate. DJax is on the backend of his career. Why the heck would I pick him over Jameis?

First, thanks for the compliment man.

To answer your question, “Because I can get Fitz to complete passes to DJax on my PlayStation!”

  70. Malcolm-Reynolds Says:

Smith was a loud-mouth punk jerk when he was a player (albeit a really good one), so it’s nice to see that retirement hasn’t changed his stripes. Glad he never doned Pewter and Red.

  71. BucHead5588 Says:

Hey joe so Jameis an Jackson have same agent why would he have people smear his other client JW what am I missing here

  72. cmurda Says:

D Jax is a talented case of herpes. It feels good for a little while but the bad symptoms never subside.

  73. ATLBucs Says:

If Jameis was not throwing the ball to DJax, perhaps it was because when JW got off suspension DJax got on national TV and said he wanted Fitzpatrick to continue playing. If I was Jameis I wouldn’t throw to him either. And when I did, it would not be catchable. Haven’t you guys notices that JW can hit anyone else on the longball but DJax? Duhhhhhh!
Just what do you expect to happen when you throw your QB under the bus on national TV. You cannot bite the hand that feeds you!

  74. Arrie Parker Says:

Yeah JW froze him out! What do you expect to happen when you say on national TV that you want the backup to continue playing when the starter comes back. You can’t bite the hand that feeds you MeShawn!

  75. Alanbucsfan Says:

    Joe
CNN and MSNBC are accepting resumes

  76. Burton21 Says:

Get him out! You can watch tape all year. He shut down a gear on all the deep balls from 3. He’s punk send his a*% to Alaska. He’s a joke

  77. Buc-n-Idaho Says:

Why don’t all you delusional whining Joe and Jameis hating idiots find another outlet so that the rest of us don’t have to listen to you spewing feces!!!

I seriously doubt that Janeis, another Buc, or the coaching staff told S Smith Jameis was not throwing to Jackson. So then where did he hear this??? Use your brain like Joe did!! The story is bias and bogus!!!

  78. “That guy” Says:

So basically have to listen to diva #1(Steve Smith) support diva #2(Djax).

ESPN is starting to model their show after love n hip hop in Atlanta, is what it looks like to me.

  79. From76 Says:

Let Jackson go if Winston is going to be the QB. Winston can’t throw deep with accuracy so we would be paying big money for someone who we can’t get the ball to. It doesn’t matter why we can’t get the ball to him. Winston can’t that’s the bottom line.

I don’t care about any of this… there has been plenty of guys who slacked off during practice (Derick Thomas) and been a hard working baller on game days. The fact is, that D Jax we’ll never be the guy who gives his all for the better of the team. He is more concerned with his individual performance, and that is the type of guy that I don’t want on this team.

D Jax= a guy who lacks the key component that makes so many guys great, and that key is, effort. If you show effort and a sincere care about team success rather than individual success people and teammates will take notice and the rest would work itself out.

So even if JW did get a play call for D Jax and purposely didn’t throw him the ball… I’m glad, because JW knows what a player looks like who gives 100 everyday and cares about the team more than the individual. Why? Because he look in the mirror at one everyday.

In the end, I can happily say… Goodbye D Jax, don’t let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya on the way out you selfish hating a$$ crybaby

Have a great day everybody! Jesus loves you:)

    Go BUCS!

Really stupid comments up to now.
Regardless of which side the slanted coverage comes–fact is this: Desean was not worth his salary year 1 or year 2 and he sure aint worth 10 million now–we could get CJ Mosely for that and keep Kwon which is another story altogether.

These networks have worked really hard to trash Winston any chance they get. Its funny though how Steve Smith backtrack about Winston to help his buddy DJax out. Remember Smith was supportive of Jameis early in the season on NFL network saying he’ll be fine after the suspension and just move forward and things will be ok. Funny how narratives work.

How does Joe know that what Smith and McGinest are saying is NOT true?
