I’m a Bucs fan and rooting for the Saints to win it all. My Brother and his family live in NOLA, I lived there for over a year my self.
Also, it’s good in life to learn you don’t have to settle for incompetence and dysfunction. It drag’s you down. I’ve temporarily run away from the circus. I’m going to enjoy football for a day. I also like the patriots because they show what a good organization of winners are, Something we should emulate rather than hate on.
I love the Bucs, my home town team. Free country.

Who cares about ex bucs playing in the playoffs it’s really irrelevant, every team gets rid of players or trades players. Obviously not every player on these teams were drafted by the teams they are playing for. What team has ever gone to the playoffs without a free agent signed in the offseason?

I’ll take the Saint. Let them rep the South. But I think LA takes this.
Put a small bet on the Pats. But I always lose football bets(comes with the territory of being a Buc fan) so look for Andy Ried to finally get it done on KC.

Packers fans in general we fun…..Detroit were the worst, I’ll never cut them slack …those toothless lowlifes were only a game better than the Bucs at the end of the year and those cretins acted as if they were reigning Super Bowl champs…back in the Ole Sombrero days…it was sweet closing out that stadium with a win over the Lions and sending to the Bucs to the playoffs for the first time is years

Jerry Jones will be making a HARD run at Sean Payton right after the Saints lose today, you heard it HERE first. Two 2 round picks 2019, 2020 drafts plus 4th in 2019, plus 10 million cash. He’s already more than lusted for Payton for years, and hinted repeatedly this offseason at it! Remember Tom Benson died, wife “runs” business with Mickey Loomis still there, but Jerry’s coming!
Then when Payton gets traded, Brees retires, maybe. Hopefully, for the division for the Bucs!

I’d hate to see Brady win and go to yet another SB, but then again I LOVE watching home fans lose, and with as nice of a guy as Reid is personally, I still hate him from the Eagles days and love seeing his teams choke in the playoffs. Very mixed feelings.
For the Saints, I’ll actually go ahead and root for them. I don’t really care about them in the least, but the stupid city of LA doesn’t deserve to get a team in the SB – plus screw the St Louis Rams screwing us out of a ring in 1999 with that BS Bert Emanuel catch BS. So Brees vs Brady, it would be a really interesting matchup, and since the SB would be in a dome it would mean Brees can throw the ball more than 15 yards downfield without flutter and it should mean they’d have a chance.
Amazing, out of the 4 teams involved, the Saints are the team I hate the least. I’d have never said that about anyone in the NFC Central, which is why the NFC South stinks, no one cares about the other teams involved.

I enjoyed watching the NFC South growing up- lucky to watch Farve and Sterling Sharpe, Reggie White, Barry Sanders, Chris Carter and John Randle

I am not going to comment any further even though my insides are SCREAMING to call everyone that is rooting for the Saints out. That is YOUR prerogative if you choose to do that. If Arians can’t make it work then people will be on the same train. But I saw some stats yesterday comparing JW and Big Ben and the numbers are IDENTICAL. Ben just had a good Defense. And he won a SB.

We are on a football Championship Open Thread and how many comments are there? Compare that to the thousands of comments during a Bucs game.
You see a lot of Bucs fans do t care about Drew Bress or what players he has or how good his defense is. They don’t care about these other teams. They care about the Bucs.
A lot of people only care about our QB and our team. Winston is a losing QB and has contributed to plenty of losses. Statistics won’t interest a lot of Bucs fans. Only winning will. You can’t mask the losing with statistics dude. You can keep trying but it’s never gotten you anywhere and never will.

I think we should all wait to judge Winston until he has some real coaching. His only NFL QBs coach had no experience. Dirk obviously didn’t like him and refused to adjust to what his players were good at. He had great coaching at FSU. So I can’t wait to see how he responds to legit quality coaching this year.

Our defense and run game has been just what the stats say, bottom 5 for three straight years. Yet you pretend there is no other players on the team that contribute to wins and losses. The rules were certainly different today.
I saw a minimum of three egregious head to head hits and they were clearly on purpose head hunting including the no call PI near the end. Helmet to helmet is not against the rules in the playoffs.
I just hope the guy doing the head hunting is the one who will come up with CTE and not the guy getting hit.

Alvin Jameis is better than Goff there is zero debate and time will show it, but I don’t expect people to see it as they only see what they are feed through the media. In case you didn’t know Goff had a 4 pick this game this year just like Jameis did but the difference is he did not have an idiot for a head coach that pulls him. He also just happens to have the NFL MVP standing right behind him that helps just a little, but again I don’t expect that to matter to anyone cause as we all know the QB determines everything right? BrNdon Cooks and Robert woods both had 1200 yards and 16 TDs each in the regular season. Rams has top 2-3 Defense, and Rbs and kicking game. Yes Everett and Higby are not bad. Everett will be a top 5 next season.

That is a prime example of how fine a line there is. One play Mahomes throws in to a double team that should have been picked but it is dropped. The next play he throws a pass where there was a clear offense pi due to a pick play. Now Mahomes is lauded when if the DB does his job it’s a game ending pick.
