“And Then You Feel Like, ‘Oh, Here We Go Again.”
November 15th, 2018Unfortunately the Buccaneers are human. They certainly play like mortals.
And here’s even more evidence that the incessant losing is taking its toll.
On the Buccaneers Radio Network this week, fullback Alan Cross was the featured guest live from Hooters on Hillsborough Avenue.
Cross was asked whether the Bucs’ failures in the red zone and on offense, despite racking up big yards, can become contagious and snowball.
“Yeah, and then you feel like, ‘Oh, here we go again.’ But we just got to figure out how to overcome that feeling and just come together as a family and as a team,” Cross said.
Joe would love to be wrong, but the Bucs seem to be a mentally weak and damaged team. Joe’s basing that on locker room vibe and various quotes, including Ryan Fitzpatrick today. These comments from Cross, one of the more upbeat Buccaneers, adds to that.

Wow. So it’s not just us saying ‘Here we go again.”

If they would go before hitting the field, maybe the play wouldn’t stink so much.

You know Jameis had some of these young guys that arguably shouldn’t even be in the league playing like stars ie brate, Hump, Cross, martino.
Ya took a young team and handed it to old washed up never have been players and now complain about losing. Lol. I don’t understand you real fans.

Winning breeds winning. Losing breeds losing. the Bucs have become the Cleveland browns of the south. I point or 21 points, it’s still a loss. the only ones who can stop the bleeding are the players. There was nothing wrong with the play calling against the redskins. It was the players that didn’t get the job done. Once again, it’s up to the coach to make sure everyone is doing their job. If not, send them to Cleveland.

Gerald McCoy is a big fat softie, he’s supposed to be the leader, which is why this team is mentally weak, and helping opponents off the ground and apologizing to quarterbacks after hitting them.
This team is bloating with over paid softies and coward coach Dirk Koetter

“Coward coach Dirk our seasons over before Halloween Koetter” – how you like that joe?

Only one on this team that makes badder decisions than Jameis Winston is Jason Licht, his draft picks and free agents have 95% been terrible
November 15th, 2018 at 6:23 pm
Losers mentality

Don’t hire any coach that plans to keep McCoy.
Use the McCoy decision as a barometer.

JPP helped Adrian Peterson up like 4x. Who cares dude. That’s not the problem, the problem is production.
Funny how you call professional athletes soft from your soft couch on your soft a$$.
This coach has got to go, putting discipline driven on a dang T-shirt isn’t gonna make your team more disciplined! Learn how to coach discipline into players not feed it to them subliminally.
We looked markedly better in the first two games as far as looking like a professional football team, and once we started to crumble Dirk just has absolutely no answers on how to stabilize this team. Great coordinator but has fallen short on his HC duties as far as I’m concerned.

Thats it!! The teams lost. Here we go again? What kind of Sh.. is that? Where is the spirit? I can guarantee you the Giamts think they can win this one. Yes, they
Suck. But do we suck worse? I just have these visions of us..ressurrecting Mannings career and Barkley breaking rookie records against us. Hope I’m wrong though. Actually, this could end up being a great game. The battle of the Losers!

@Joe
Thanks for that bit of insight into the locker room. Those of us who can only watch from the outside have been speculating that this team has had it from the neck up. Sounds like the locker room might suspect the same thing.
I do not think we have a good team…obviously…but I do believe we have a core of talent that could help us turn thing around fairly quickly if we could figure out how to change the culture…which could take a couple of years and drafts.
November 15th, 2018 at 7:01 pm
Only the ignorant believed this team could be a winner.
November 15th, 2018 at 7:12 pm
Hard to change the culture when your leaders are losers and mentally weak
November 15th, 2018 at 8:04 pm
At least the mistakes are a team effort.
November 15th, 2018 at 8:05 pm
They were in 13th place in Red Zone offense
Before that ‘stinker’ on Sunday
We should give Washington defense some credit
November 15th, 2018 at 8:17 pm
Anyone
How come the packers have 4 wins when they have the best QB who doesn’t turn the ball over? Could it be that they had no run game or defense? Hmm 🤔

_______
I would call GMC a big fat softie, Jameis Winston a BUST, and Koetter a Coward to their face because they get paid millions of dollars to do what they’re NOT doing
November 15th, 2018 at 8:31 pm
Buc fan that says more about you than anything else and no you wouldn’t, otherwise you already would have. That’s why you’re here doing it right?
November 15th, 2018 at 8:46 pm
I don’t live in the state of Florida, nor would I spend my valuable time to seek out beta males to tell them the truth
November 15th, 2018 at 9:22 pm
Jason Dumb Dumb Licht should have traded McCoy to the Giants before the draft and Barkley May have been a Buc. Nah, Licht would have drafted another kicker in the first round. The Bucs would be lucky to get a fifth round pick for fatboy now. 100 million dollar pile of junk.
