“A Big Boost To Everybody’s Morale Out There”

November 28th, 2018

Dirk Koetter saw a squad uplifted today on the practice fields of One Buc Palace.

Why? Good players returned.

“A big boost to everybody’s morale out there,” said the head coach.

Lavonte David brought his healing knee to the practice fields after missing the last two games. Justin Evans’ bum toe also was back.

Whether they’ll play Sunday is another story. The injury report coming out later today will reveal whether both officially were “limited” in practice, which is likely.

Man, the Bucs could sure use David, even at, say, 85 percent.

Unfortunately it’s a little to late to lift the fans morale looking at the schedule left and the almost certain coaching change that is coming. I’m still watching the games and rooting but all hope is lost for this season. Such is the life of a Bucs fan for over 40 years.

Amazing what a win can do for you, especially one where you see some pretty good football. Realize that we will be big underdogs for the rest of the season but playoffs or not it would be fun to see us win out. One game at a time.

The Linebacking core worries me the most. Any hope I have that maybe we could go on a miracle run is destroyed looking at our LB situation.

The thing that bothers me most of all with the LBs is our depth guys have been here for a long time. Bond, Glanton, Riley………The coaching staff should know if these guys are good enough and find a way to replace them if needed.

Everytime we need to rely on depth it kills us and that is a major indictment on this HC and his staff. Especially when your depth players have been on the team for a while.

Ahh my yearly,” oh technically we aren’t out of it, all we have to do is win every fricking game.”
I think there is at best a 3% chance we win out, not good odds.
If we can pull it off vs the Panthers and Saints, I might have some confidence restored in Koetter, but slim chance.

Agree….the LB position has gone from a position of strength to a position of question.

Let’s not allow Newton n the stinking panthers come in our house with an intent to embarrass us with back yard football plays. Let’s get violent n play some Reggie White,Dick Butkus, Ray Kewis, Lawrence Taylor, n Ronnie Lott type football. I want the panthers stomped in the ground!!!

I bought a ticket in Vegas when odds came out that the Bucs would BE in the Super Bowl. $25 gets me $1000.

    I haven’t burned it…yet.

    Trading on miraculous hope.

The Panthers are comin to Tampa Pissed as hell. Bucs will need their A game. IF..they are to Win. I hopw we thouroughly enjoyed the win against the Niners.
Might not be so happy come Sunday.

McCaffrey always seems to slice and dice the Bucs. Limit his production and the Bucs have a chance to win.

It would be nice for us to be spoilers…

    Let’s run the table!!!!

The Bucs linebackers would impress if they could stop McCaffrey but I worry they have no chance.

The Panthers are in a three game slump; if we come out and get ahead of them they might start taking bad chances to win the game and give our Safeties a chance to get some nice turnovers on them like we did late against the 49ers. Then the wheels could come off the Panther’s bus especially if we score off their mistakes. However, we may first have to prove that we can stop their running game. We can do that if we bring up our small Strong Side Safety who led us in tackles with 9 last week and let him spy their QB and top RB and react quickly to stop whichever gets the ball. We could then win at home.

Hey, DMatt you forgot Jack Tatum. One nasty dude.
