Last week your poll showed a tad over 20% having Little or No Confidence in Dirk Koetter. This week that percentage has grown to 30%. Is that a bad omen? Dirk really hasn’t done anything this week to warrant a 10% swing in the Low Confidence vote, so it must be just the small sampling size today. Now IF he were to get beaten up by Sean Payton after we whoop the Saints on Sunday, then THAT could really skew the results. No sweat though, wouldn’t happen. I’m sure that Jameis would come to his rescue.

I’m sure you’ll agree that these preseason polls are more a reflection of us than of DK.
I’m Irish. I believe in the luck of the Irish. It’s worked for me throughout my blessed life. I truly believe in the importance of luck. 813 will not wish to hear this…but look how lucky he and all of us are…as my son points out we could have been born in mud huts in Ethiopia…but no we were born in the wealthiest land in the world.
My father won a giant poker game when I was in the third grade, my mother got him to use the money to move us to a neighboring town. I went from an area where you had to smoke to be cool…were called a wuss if you made good grades. My parents who were 7th and 10th grade dropouts and aunts and uncles who did no better. I ended up in an area with the children of Doctors, Lawyers, Architects, kids who thought you were a punk if you smoked, thought you were a loser if you didn’t make good grades….literally views 180 degrees different from my birthplace.
My cousins had decent lives but I was blessed. As Warren Buffett said the biggest predictor of financial success is the zip code where you’re born and raised. And what is that. LUCK
In my life I’ve observed that luck can come and go…it ebbs and flows…we are truly due for some luck this year as Buc fans.
The play that did if for me last year was late in the season…can’t remember which game…we were trying to make a desperate last minute comeback…time running out…and the NFL official accidentally kicks the ball when picking it up to place it costing us critical seconds on a dying clock. When I saw that rare and unusual event…I realized just how cursed we were and lacking in luck last year. Hurricanes…injuries…horrid kicking…two TD returns on kickoffs…that’s rare..
We are due…Dirk is due…JW is due…and Lady Luck is DUE to be on our side this year.

The poll may not have had a large number of votes to even out the percentages. So far, we are at less than 250 votes. Check the poll again this afternoon and the numbers should refelect more of what you’re talking about.

It’s been little confidence since last year and he’s done nothing to change my mind since then. If he gives up the play calling, it might bump up to confident.

If not confident why even bother to express your non confidence. Confident has won every poll so confidence is where most Buc fans stand at least until reality sets in.
