Darren Sproles Injured
September 14th, 2018Every little bit helps.
Joe never wants to see a player injured. However, given how (until proven otherwise) the Bucs defense couldn’t stop a child from throwing candy into a grocery cart at the checkout line, the fewer weapons the Bucs defense faces the better.
And as the creator, curator and overall guru of Pro Football Talk, the great Mike Florio brings word, Eagles coach Doug Pederson confessed speedy running back Darren Sproles injured a hamstring Thursday.
Pederson didn’t know if the injury is serious enough to sideline Sproles for Sunday’s game with the Bucs.

Big Ben with the Steelers is not practicing because of an elbow injury per Good Morning Football. Dobbs from Tennessee is his replacement.

LOL…a hamstring in Tampa would have him on IR.

A hamstring on the Bucs and the guy would have been placed on IR.

Stopping the pass is the biggest issue anyway so not sure this matters.

Alshon Jeffery and Sproles are both out.
September 14th, 2018 at 2:17 pm
Eagles Twitter just said Sproles is OUT.

Darren Sproles only played 3 games last season, and the Eagles went 14-2, and won the Super Bowl.
September 14th, 2018 at 2:23 pm
14-2 during Sproles absence, including the playoffs
2-1 before he was hurt

Not news worthy

Honestly I’d rather have him healthy and playing. They love him and he’s running on fumes. Now they will play the younger and better backs more.

The Atlanta Falcons has 3 Pro Bowl players out against Carolina

ILB Deion Jones

My wife is starting Ajayi and I’m starting Agholar.
i hope both suck but it’s a good way to hedge against disappointment lol.
Speaking of which – some Bucs fan behind me at the Saints game kept talking about Alvin Kamara and needing fantasy points; and there was a dad with his son for his bachelor party wasted; and kept yelling at him “I’ll pay whatever f*cking fee this league cost you to shut up and root for the f*cking Bucs! You’re a Bucs fan!”
It was hillarious. If any of you were those 10-15+ drunk pirates in section 643 I love you guys lol

Curious if Carl Nicks’ big toe has healed yet.
