Makes little to no sense to reveal this prior to kickoff next Sunday.
This is likely Jay Glazer spreading info that has not been “confirmed” by any Bucs official – so basically just “informed speculation” IMO
I DO agree with the decision – IF Fitz plays well Monday night – but the timing sure seems odd.
Even if we are 4-0 heading into the bye though – Jameis needs to start the 5th game and every other game this season unless he is injured or seriously struggling.

If you don’t think after all the losing they have been through to not go with the hot hand ur nuts…Not like winston was hurt but with as many problems he has had i would like to see him traded or get someone else next year dude is a clown wasted talent behind problems.

Like Koetter said Can’t say until all the info is in. If Fitz is hurt tomorrow will they still start him? I think not. But I can see the logic of starting Fitz IF it goes that way . Look for J.W. Wk 6 against the Falcons. I don’t know who is behind this so called QB controversy but it is plain DUMB.

I still think Winston starts game 4. Everything around me tells I’m wrong, but Winston IS the starter, after all. I can see Koetter spinning to Jameis why he won’t start week 4, on a short week, but if he doesn’t start week 6, Winston isn’t “the guy” anymore. The Winston era will be over over and the decade long search for the next “guy” will be on. Whatever happens won’t change how I feel about the team. Bucs till I die!!! Go Bucs!!
