    Lee mentioned that you don’t draft a CB at 11 to play slot. I agree that’s not why they drafted VHIII, but consider how teams kept hurting us in the middle last year. And the year before. It has been a major weakspot.

    I think the opinion that slot is not as important as the outside is outdated.

    With the league rules favoring passing so much now (RBs can’t even lower their heads now), the importance of covering the slot has increased.
