Just a little math for some people who think half the QBs pass 4000 yards there days. Only 8 did last year. That means 75% did not.
And to those who say 5000 yards is the new standard? No QB in the NFL even came close to that standard last year.

Just read Carlton Davis is on the inactives, bummer. Stewart should get plenty of time and unfortunately Smith will too.
I would love to see RoJo show something. Maybe get him some reps with the ones and see what he does with an opening.

My comment disappeared! Just wondering why Carlton Davis isn’t even dressing for tonight’s game. Joe has to do a better job in keeping us up to date. Hate having to go to another site to find info on the Bucs. Davis’ ankle was wrapped in the team hotel, per Joe’s eyeballs, on Wednesday evening. And Sir/Ma’am, Joe has no idea what’s on other sites and Joe surely can’t speak for their accuracy. –Joe

Microcosm of why wins are a useless stat when comparing QBS. Mariotta does nothing and is a head, Jameis plays dang near perfect and gets 3 cause of shotty play calling, blocking, and penalties.

Thankfully Catanzaro made the second attempt, but that’s the type of series that we saw way too much of last year. Offense does a great job getting to around the 10, then penalty after penalty negates a TD, backs them up, then negates a FG. Illegal procedure penalties are just plain sloppy … how hard is it to line up on the line of scrimmage (it’s not like the refs are hiding it or anything like that).

So, if this game is any clue, Reedy will not make the team. Last week ,he had a decent return and that is it. This week, he’s been horrible.
I’m concerned with depth at RB. They might have to move a beefy TE to the RB position to compensate if a RB gets hurt.

People say that preseason wins don’t matter. I disagree. Psychologically it creates a better mindset among the players. They’ve played at ALL levels before… from youth leagues to high school to college. A WIN is a WIN. Winning, no matter the stakes, always feels better than losing.
