“Couple Of Weeks”
July 28th, 2018There’s a frustrated dude wearing a baseball hat and a Bucs jersey patrolling the training camp sidelines at One Buc Palace.
The man is healing Bucs linebacker Kendall Beckwith, who had ankle surgery after a bad April car accident. Right now, he’s on the non-football-injury list.
Joe started the conversation asking Beckwith, “Where’s your limp?” Beckwith said, “Limp? No limp. They should let me practice.”
Joe went to chat with Beckwith for a while and wrapped it up with the money question. Beckwith answered saying he expects to be back on the practice field in some form in “a couple of weeks.”

Good News.
Thanks for getting us an answer straight from the source Joe!
Beckwith played really well as a rookie.
In fact – he was thrust into playing MLB the 2nd game without very many offseason reps at that position – and looked totally in control of the situation. Comfortable, confident, making plays – looking like there was almost no drop off from Kwon being in there… THAT to me was very impressive for a dude coming off a serious knee injury playing in only his 2nd NFL game.
Makes you wonder how high Beckwith’s ceiling actually is…

He’s the thumper of the group…
Beckwith is the real version of Wolverine…hopefully he’s cleared and ready to go in a couple weeks like he says…
