Yup. Should have taken Shaq griffin earlier Way better linebacker

  2. Joeypoppems Says:

Its a good value pick if he stays healthy. Day 3 is about depth/special teams contributors.

I was kinda hoping they would take Scarborough or Quentin Meeks, but I dont hate the pick.

  3. MadMax Says:

Welcome to Tampa Jack! Lots of talent in front of though, so get busy!

But I wish we couldve addressed RT somewhere along the way.
    Maybe Desmond Harrison goes undrafted.

    But anyways, welcome aboard kid.

  4. MadMax Says:

    “in front of you”

  5. BlogTalkFootball Says:

Overall, I am satisfied with this draft. Was that the last Bucs pick? I can go do something else now…lol.

  6. IndianaBuc Says:

Waiting on Flowers release from the Giants?

  7. TomG Says:

I think our Draft was great R1 thru R3 and no complaint with R4 and R5. Cichy could have been had as UFA. I was hoping for an RB (Scarborough or Wadley) or another S. I hope Licht gets busy quickly with the UFA’s.

  8. DB55 Says:

Joe Ostman go sign him ya dummies

  9. JDR Says:

    Another rough season

  10. Rod Munch Says:

Licht says they worked him out and he was running full speed and healthy, so if true, this is a good value pick since most likely he’d have been drafted a lot higher had he stayed healthy in his college career.

Anyways it’s a 6th rounder and this beats wasting another pick on a “super”back who everyone would claim is the next Mike Alstott.

Kid sounds great–just got injured, now healed, he had an awesome pro day, he could have great potential. Great pick for the sixth round, look forward to seeing him play. He was a great player for Wisconsin before the injuries(pec and acl)

So many negative complainers on this website but still glad we have Joebucsfan

    awesome draft, so many picks

  12. Tampabaybucfan Says:

  14. Mord Says:

… which Cichy apparently played in, despite barely appearing in this video.

    Eh . . it’s a 6th round pick. Good luck, and welcome!

  15. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

This just in…they are converting him to halfback.

    jk

  16. Trench War Says:

You people who keep crying for Griffin are annoying. Have any of you ever thought that it was maybe a wink pick by all teams for Seattle to select him? There were a lot of teams beside the Bucs who passed on him for LB of lesser talent. Why? …because he gets to play with his brother. What an NFL feel good story. I liked it ….welcome aboard Jack! …you’ve got work to do. good luck!

  17. Dewey Selmon Says:

Trent, I kind of agree with you. we are both about to get roasted by people yelling that you are trying to win and no one gets any favors when it comes to winning.

  18. Easy Says:

He’s a helluva football player when healthy

  19. MadMax Says:

@Trench, I get that, and if so, thats awesome. He’s going to be a great player. They got lucky.

  20. TDTB Says:

I’m blown away that Kevin Tolliver, Holton Hill and Desmond Harrison are not drafted. We need to heat all three in camp.

  21. Doctor Stroud Says:

I like that the highlights feature him making plays against big name schools.

  22. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

    @Doctor Stroud
Yes, he tore up Ohio State and Michigan!

  23. Mike Johnson Says:

    Yet another..L-O-N-G-S-H-O-T !!!!!!!!!

  24. SCBucsFan Says:

Mike Johnson because all the other teams pick guaranteed all pros in the 6th round

  25. JimmyJack Says:

And why would any sixth rounder get any locals worked up into a fit of outrage?

There’s stupidity then there’s just plain dumb.

  26. Joe Says:

    “B1G” 🙂

I like the tape I’ve seen on all the picks. First time hearing about a few of them, even while leaving players i heard chatter about, on the board. As a fan I can only hope the scouts knew something I didn’t. The picks seem “Patriot Like” “role players” with specific skills. Up to the coaches now. #GoBucs

  28. Destinjohnny Says:

This guy won’t make the team
You could have had A 1000 yard rusher in Bo Scarborough
    Stupid

  29. mike10 Says:

His tape looks really good. How did he fall into the 6th rd, what’s his knock?

  30. firethecannons Says:

Looks as if this kid has a high motor, we need that, he will make the team, he is better than Joe Dirt, you can tell that immediately, he had a great pro day and is healthy again

Go Bucs good job to Jason Licht

  31. teacherman777 Says:

    He looks great!

    Like I said before,

Rounds 5-7 should only be for

1.) Amazing athletes who drop bc of “character”
2.) Studs who drop bc of a senior year injury

  32. Marlow Says:

3-4 outside LB. Bet we run some and he is on the edge or we see designed blitz’s for him on 3rd down.
