The good news? It was Game One and this is a seven-game series. And that’s honestly where the good news ends.
In this edition of the Lightning Playoff Podcast, Todd takes a simple look at the Lightning’s recent patterns of poor play and how it must change for the Lightning to continue advancing in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Todd Wright isn’t just the fantasy football podcast guru and golf chief around here. The longtime national and local sports radio personality has loads of knowledge about the Tampa Bay Lightning. So launching the Todd Wright Lightning Playoff Podcast was a no-brainer.
The podcast will run through the Bolts’ exciting playoff run right here. Todd has media credentials for home games and will provide plenty of fresh insight.
(Also, the JoeBoltsFan podcast with Tom Lang has been a big hit every Friday.)

The Bolts played soft. How the heck can we be here already talking about their focus, effort and intensity? It was Game 1, at home, against a rival. Jeez guys, if that doesn’t get you up and running, what does? At some point this team is going to need to commit to being grubby and earning diirty goals. Stop making on pass too many. Stop being fancy and finess. Shoot the puck- get some net-front presence and Stammer, please, for the love of God, step up and show up! We need you. If not, we’ll be bounced from this series real-fast!

Their is no defense. No more then before the trade. Just looks better against bad teams. And how long have they not really been able to score? 2 goals. This has been going on .
