Missed tackles all over, Doug isn’t running as hard as he ran in preseason, D lline is soft. I’m not saying they quit but they definitely aren’t giving their 100%.

  2. Rojas Says:

    They quit.

  3. darin Says:

The head coach quit on them in Arz. It appears they have followed suit. N for all you who always whine about not getting national attention, youre getting it now. The bucs are a mess, the laughingstock.

  4. bucster Says:

They just aren’t good, simple as that.

  5. Mike Johnson Says:

I bet the NY Jets are..chompin at the bit to play Tampa. They know Fitz by heart.Ruck up Bucs. Nobody feels sorry for you. Teams smell..Blood on the tracks! And they are ah comin. And No the team has not quit on the coaches. The coaches Need to be..fired by the team!!

  6. DB55 Says:

Captain Ice Cream is a real superhero he can turn everyone into ice cream.

  7. Nate Says:

joe, I hear the 2yr coaching change argument but the ONLY solution to this is to bring that job promised to D Brooks to the table as GM and make Gruden make the bucs great again

He’s the only championship caliber coach that can demand RESPECT of the players!!!!

  8. ClodHopper Says:

I think they just quit. On everyone.

That locker room has to be in shambles right now

  9. 813bucboi Says:

    Bye dirk!!!…GO BUCS!!!

  10. zwh99 Says:

All i can say is pathetic. Fire koetter

  11. tmaxcon Says:

quitting on coaches is the signature of cancer93 captained defenses. it’s very simple actually. they quit two weeks ago.

  12. NFLNut Says:

BRUCE ARIANS, JIM HARBAUGH, JON GRUDEN and MATT PATRICIA (sp?) … ANY ONE OF THOSE FOUR MAY BE THE BUCS NEW COACH IN A FEW MONTHS …

  13. AlteredEgo Says:

Bwahahahah what a survey…..they “players”….quit on themselves….errr…no body stood up to Jameis and said “zip it”…it certainly ain’t coaching….coaching is coaching….anyone that coached at any level knows it is largely talent….I don’t do the fanasty football thing …but I could put together a roster that would look GREAT with Dirk calling the plays….MRSA…..starting with mentality

  14. JimmyJack Says:

When exactly did they quit….Thats a better question.

  15. EA Says:

NFL Nut I agree with Harbaugh and Gruden. I’m not sure about Arians, he has a job for one, he isn’t doing so great himself and he has health issues.
Patricia is not a proven coach, for all we know it’s all Belichits work, I can picture Matt Patricia losing the grip on a team like the bucs real quick.

  16. Orlampa Turd Says:

Would the Glazers buy out Jimbo’s contract?

  17. Season Is Over Says:

Koetter looks like he already quit in the press conference. Lead by example. I certainly won’t miss him if this is the culmination of his efforts. Time for people to be fired. Don’t even wait for the end of season. How can it get worse? We have been through Lovie and Marcus Arroyo.

  18. ElioT Says:

This whole franchise is full of weak d*ck, losers.

    Burn the whole thing down.

The Sucs are the WORST fu*king team in the league and it’s not even close.

I don’t give a sh*t who your favorite player is.

All I want is a consistent competitive team and we get the absolute opposite.

It’s a joke, and something has to change!!!

The Glazers need to hand over control to someone else.

This is THE WORST FRANCHISE IN PRO FOOTBALL!!!!

We’re all sitting here dealing with the horse sh*t year after year!!!

    F**K this roster!!!!

Get the F**k out of here!!!

    Pu**ies!!!

  19. Bucnjim Says:

You know it is hard to say because in the last 8 or so years they have quit on every coach that has been here. Really not many players have been here during that stretch but I can think of one. Is it every single coach that has come through here or is it the mentality of this team?

  20. AlteredEgo Says:

What does winning feel like….I read about it in a book once….

  21. AlteredEgo Says:

McElwain was seen at a east TPA private jet port….just saying…

  22. JimmyJack Says:

Altered ego…….It’s a shame the book your talking about isn’t Dirks playbook

  23. 813bucboi Says:

    Jim harbaugh…GO BUCS!!!

  24. Lakeland Says:

    They are not quitters
They are not good football players

  25. BrianBucs Says:

I don’t know if they have quit or not, I just think that they stink

  26. Bucnjim Says:

Guys I am the biggest Bucs fan there is and an ex college player. When the majority of your team (especially on defense) are standing around watching then they have given up. McCoy for the second game in a row is standing around and you can see it in a half dozen plays.

  27. 813bucboi Says:

They quit after the ARZ game….fire dirk…trade GMC….GO BUCS!!!

  28. Season Is Over Says:

I think the poll is fairly unanimous. You have problems when 80% of your hard core fan base thinks your team has quit.

  29. Destinjohnny Says:

    It’s time Brooks as
    Gm
    Gruden coach
Then we need a Team president

  30. MadMax Says:

Players quitting …… hmm, seems it started with kneeling for protest….yeah, i can quit as a fan too.

  31. 911bucs Says:

I wouldn’t say the whole team quit on the coaches. Realistically they’ve been playing at this level all season, but the offensive yards and points are skewed due to playing catch up all the time.

  32. westernbuc Says:

Players haven’t just quit on the coaches, they’ve quit on the organization, on the fans, and on themselves.

It’s not to say the front office isn’t at fault, or the coaches aren’t at fault, it just seems like these guys watched Hard Knocks promote them, they listened to the hype on BSPN, they read the local blogs. Everyone expected playoffs, and the moment things got hard they just quit.

I don’t know if it’s a personality issue, maybe our leaders are complacent, but the fact is they aren’t getting it done.

This is what Dirk should do: Bench Mike Evans, regardless of league action. I respect fighting on behalf of your QB, but that was over the line, costly, and could take a man’s livelihood away. He should’ve been ejected and if he’s not suspended, Dirk shouldn’t dress him next week. Leaders don’t allow that kind of behavior without consequences, and quite frankly seeing a captain act that way is despicable. If not bench, then take the C off his jersey.

Jameis should be benched regardless of health. He was out of the game, again, and decided to start some nonsense for no reason. Jameis, your team is getting blown out by a rival and you start that crap on the sideline? Unacceptable. Between this and the head butt in Dallas last year, his behavior is exposing his immaturity. He was benched at FSU then turned it around, being a professional means taking your job seriously, and his actions are inexcusable. Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Russell Wilson would never do that.

For the remainder of the season, Dirk should rotate and start the nonstars. Not to throw the season, we’ve already done that, but to see our depth and give them developmental time. Outside of the offensive line, we need to see what the rest of the team can do. If that means Bernard Reedy starts over Mike Evans from here on out, fine with me.

The message is loud and clear to me as a fan. It’s time for Dirk to send a message that makes it louder for the players. I don’t think he should be fired, last season gave him a longer leash in my opinion, but these players should all be on the hot seat

  33. passthebuc Says:

We should rename the stadium: THE DEN OF LOST SOULS.

  34. MadMax Says:

    ^ logic!

  35. MadMax Says:

“logic” (to western) but thats good too pass

  36. EA Says:

Good points Western buc, however I think Dirk should be fired because he will not do any of what you mentioned above, that’s not who he is.
I called for jameis to be benched after the New England and Arizona game, not for the whole game, just a few plays…. Same as when a pitcher struggles. I was blasted here.
Koetter is a great guy but not a leader of grown men, you gotta have a Bill bellechic and Jimmy Johnson mentality as a coach to be consistent on the norm, players give their all out of respect and fear, not many guys fear or respect this regime, like we saw today.

I believe that after they fired Lovie the gave Winston full confidence to be a leader and that decision is backfiring on them.

  37. AlteredEgo Says:

They are quitters in general….the 53 are quitters with ZERO pride or leadership….

  38. Chris@Apple Roof Cleaning Tampa Says:

I disagree with benching Mike Evans.
It was nice to see some passion for football, for a change.
