IRA…Larry, Moe & Curly Glazer have a history of making bad decisions…
They can’t pick a GMx2
They can’t pick a Coachx3
for that matter, they can’t even pick a decent uni design…
Poor old man Glazer must be rolling over in his grave.
“Hey Moe, Hey Larry…look at these new uniform’s” Yuch Yuch Yuch..

I’m not and never have been what Joe calls “a McCoy hater,” however, it’s time for some analysis of a different kind – analysis by elimination. In the eight years since the Bucs drafted Gerald McCoy, the Bucs have gone through four head coaches and at least five if not more defensive coordinators. From 2010, McCoy’s first year, through 2016 the Bucs’ defense has surrendered 318, 494, 394, 389. 410, 417, and 369 points, respectively. In addition, a goodly number of defensive players have left Tampa and gone on to successful if not Pro and Super Bowl careers, while others with Pro and Super Bowl credentials have been brought in only to flop.
Through all that the defense has remained a “work in progress” an exercise in futility. Through all the futility there is one constant – the presence of McCoy. Maybe it’s time to take a big risk and either sit the big man down or move on from him altogether and see what happens, despite his obvious talents and the game planning other offensive coordinators must do when facing him. What can it hurt? The Bucs are already perennial cellar dwellers in the NFC Central and haven’t been to the playoffs in a decade. General managers, head coaches, coordinators, position coaches, and players have come and gone, but McCoy remains, and nothing ever changes. There’s only one change left to make and that’s getting rid of McCoy.
