Tops In The NFL
September 26th, 2017For this week, at least until Thursday night, Bucs wide receiver Bernard Reedy can stand tall and say he’s leading the National Football League.
Not only that, Reedy accomplished on Sunday what no Buccaneer had done since Arrelious Benn in 2012!
While Reedy got caught needlessly fielding a bouncing Vikings kickoff on the goal line and then was tackled about the 10 yard line — bad play — Reedy made up for it later in the game.
Reedy’s fourth-quarter kickoff return went for 50 yards up the left sideline. That is the longest return in the NFL this season! And the last time the Bucs had a 50+ yard kick return was when Benn went for 55 yards in 2012 with the Fighting Schianos.
Reedy was inserted this season as the No. 1 kick returner and punt returner to add juice. And he’s done just that in both Bucs games this season.
Joe is optimistic Reedy will continue to thrive in his new role.

Good news for Reedy…..bad news for the Bucs…..if our defense doesn’t improve….Reedy will get lots of chances.

Even when our defense returns to dominance, Reedy will be adding to his numbers … as a punt returner.

Joe,I have been a Bucs fan since 1976.And watched the Bucs game every Sunday, and have a lot of Buc gear.I will no longer support the NFL.Yesterday I watched the video of both teams in England sit for our anthem and stand for England’s.Something inside me snapped,I love my country more than football.Until they are made to stand, I will not be a part of it.I came to your sight every day it’s great, but I will no longer come here.Thank you,and may God bless you.

What about that! Something positive! If offense or defense can’t do it what about special TEAMS!! That hasn’t ever been done. Some body needs to STEP UP!!!

He will get plenty of opportunities to return kickoffs this season.

Hey Kevin. I just saw that the golfers playing in the upcoming tourney said that they will not be kneeling . Golf is more exciting than the NFL, right? Enjoy yourself.

I’m not sure I agree on the bouncing kickoff being unnecessary for him to return – the defenders were not far behind and it’s not baseball, you can’t just sit there and watch the ball dribble down the 3rd base line hoping it goes foul. Maybe I need to watch it again but I don’t recall thinking that was a bad idea that it was going out of bounds or anything.

The Anthem is some racists trash, do away with that shyt, and what you’re calling a flag is just a Banner the U.S. is a corporation. America is the country, and most of the people ACTING like it’s their land are really Europeans
