Only One Bucs Player Ruled Out
September 15th, 2017As winning Bucs coach Dirk Koetter all but promised, the final injury report before the season kicks off Sunday is virtually clean.
The Bucs only have one player ruled out, and that is linebacker Devante Bond, who did go through limited participation today.
Kwon Alexander and Evan Smith were both listed as having an illness (unspecified) but Alexander participated fully in practice today despite being listed as questionable for Sunday. Smith, too, is questionable and he was limited in practice today.
Deon Bush, Leonard Floyd, Jordan Howard, Christian Jones, Kyle Long, Markus Wheaton and Adrian Amos are all questionable for the Bears Sunday.

Wow if Jacquies plays Id be surprised. Be a heck of a boost tho if he can get pressure. Go Bucs

No word on who the inactives are? I’m hoping they use Auclair or Cross in the FB role. I think that will boost the running game.
September 15th, 2017 at 7:07 pm
Ninety minutes before kickoff.
September 15th, 2017 at 7:13 pm
So Jac Smith is good to go?
September 15th, 2017 at 7:31 pm
Finally have electricity!!!! WOOT!!! My sympathies to those in the Black River areas that wont have power for months it seems.

On a different note is Dirk now play calling for USF? I think they ran it up the middle 7 times on their first drive and on 3rd and 16 didn’t even bother trying to get the first down, they just ran it up the middle. It’s disgraceful what the new USF offensive coordinator has done to one of the top offensive teams in football for the last two seasons.
September 15th, 2017 at 10:21 pm
Gosh. Bond better be freaking good considering this guy been like injured every freaking year he has played football.
September 15th, 2017 at 10:24 pm
LOL Rod, USF is beating Lovie’s team 37 to 9 right now and it is still the Third quarter. I hope we do that well.
September 15th, 2017 at 10:30 pm
Jeeeesh USF has 306 rush yards to 64 by Lovie’s squad!!!!! That tells no tales does it?
September 15th, 2017 at 10:36 pm
Lovie mad bro.
September 15th, 2017 at 10:39 pm
Good to c u back Howard!
September 15th, 2017 at 10:48 pm
Joe… i didn’t think of this to suggest earlier, but you guys should have a Lovie thread going for the USF game.
I usually root for former Bucs everywhere… it used to be all we have. I even hope Schiano learns from his stubborn ways here and has success in the NFL. But I can’t seem to hope Lovie has success despite all the former Bucs on his staff and the fact he is a good man.
What is wrong with me?

I love Kwon but if he play or not doesn’t matter Jameis is putting Tampa on his back and taking us to the playoffs!
September 15th, 2017 at 11:07 pm
SB it should be like 72-13 – the first half of this game was one of the worst I’ve seen – well not counting the Bucs 4th preseason game that until the 4th quarter was THE worst game I’ve ever seen.
Hopefully the Bulls OC figures it out because USF has a legit chance to play in a major bowl for the first time in its history and if they don’t go undefeated it’s going to be a disappointing year. In this game once they stopped running it up the middle on every play and actually started using their Heisman level QB they started racking up points. Early in the game they ran it on like 11 of their first 14 plays and had zero points to show for it. Just glad the Bulls are going for points still, they need those votes for the AP ranking.

I agree with Brett on having a Bulls thread, maybe try out a couple of times and see if anyone shows up – I’m sure there is a decent cross over audience here.
But Brett I disagree with you on Schiano, that piece of Jersey Trash should go take a long walk off a short pier.

Rod– I was suggesting a thread on the USF-Illinois game because of Lovie and the Bucs connection. Lovie contributed a lot to the Bucs early success and people like Hardy Nickerson and Donnie Abraham are coaching for him… and for some reason I can’t seem to want to hope he has success. Not just against a local team like USF, but in general. I was being a little bit sarcastic with Schiano, but I can’t figure out why I don’t want to see Lovie do well.
Something about Lovie’s arrogance rubs me wrong on a greater level than even Schiano’s arrogance.

Two things on the USF v. Illinois game that exemplifies to me what a horrible football coach Lovie Smith is;
1. USF plays a fast, up tempo offense. Illinois has a young defense with some talent but very little depth. I’m Lovie and I’m such a blanking genius, I’m going to go up tempo as well with my offense too…. notwithstanding that they can’t get out of their own way and shockingly, MY DEFENSE IS GASSED BY THE END OF THE FIRST QUARTER??? BRILLIANT!!!
2. I’ve had Jeff George Jr. on the team since last year. Granted it’s a small sample size, but he has a good arm, good pocket presence, and can find the open receiver. Again, because I’m Lovie Smith and I’m a stinking genius, I’m going to put this kid on the bench and start a QB that looks like he came in third in the intra-fraternity cup on it’s second keg…. but that can’t be because I’m coach my scheme, I don’t drink, dance or use profanity.. or apparently have ANY competence whatsoever when it comes to coaching football.
Look, Nick Saban couldn’t have won with the Illinois roster, but this game truly shows how clueless this guy is. Glazer family… thank you from the bottom of my heart for firing this pathetic excuse of a football coach.

There is no one who won’t have power for months. That is pure media hysteria.

I would visit a JoeBullsFan.com website if it existed.
