“Kaufman’s Korner”
September 24th, 2017What better way to start your Bucs Sunday morning than breakfast with Ira?
Prized JoeBucsFan.com columnist Ira Kaufman, the Custodian of Canton, has a studio sitdown on FOX-13 during Scott Smith’s Tailgate Sunday (hosted by station sports director Scott Smith) to talk all things Bucs. Can the Bucs make it to 2-0 and face the floundering Giants next week?
All Joe has to say is Smith and his colleagues must have damned good makeup people. Ira looks very dapper. Even the bright lights were bouncing off the silver hair of Tampa Bay’s only Pro Football Hall of Fame voter.

Does anyone else have a problem looking at Ira’s suit? Not sure if its my monitor but the closeup shots of him are nuts.

DBF
When you wear coats with a pattern it can drive TV cameras a bit crazy and the offending garment begins to “bloom”.

I for one have no problem with Ira’s suit or himself for that matter. I respect the man for falling back on his feet after the closing of his former employer newspaper. On JBF, his podcast is a little more foot loose and fancy free (as I believe it should be). On this televised gig his demeanor is appropriately more distinguished and “professional”.
I believe he represents Tampa sports well and his podcasts have become part of my weekly routine.
Congrats Ira. Continued good luck and good health to you!

Go Ira!
He’s such a stud, and one could argue that his acquisition to JoeBucsFan.com was just as big of a coup as making/retaining Mike Smith at defensive coordinator.

I’m sure the camera guys knew Ira’s jacket would be a problem but they didn’t have a stud-sized jacket laying around for him to change into.
