It was a hell of a day by Evans against the Jaguars. Too big and too strong. Joe overheard a Jags linebacker talking about how he didn’t realize how big and fast Evans is.

Jameis and Mike just have such a connection. It’s really great to see. Perfectly thrown ball to exactly the point it needed to be for Evans to get it. Really looking forward to the season starting.

@Joe- Any word on Mike Evans injury yet? I was at the practice and watched him go down in what I think was the 2 min drill. He had to go to the ground to make a catch and came up holding his hand/wrist? After practice he was taken back to the stadium on a cart holding his hand/wrist.

I’m not lying and it’s not fake news, Evans caught a pass from Winston and went to the ground to get it. He came up holding his arm/hand area. Next play he ran the same route and caught the ball again. The next play he left for the sideline… at the end of practice he was riding in the front of a golf cart holding the same arm/hand. I guess I should’ve specified where in the cart he was… EVERYONE ELSE WALKED EXCEPT HIM

I was there, too, and can corroborate some of what Indy saw. In the 11 on 11 drill, the ball was thrown low and down the middle. Evans was favoring his hand afterward. It was a hurry up offense, so he shook it off and got back into formation for the next play. I didn’t see him carted off though.
