Exclusive Video Of Kwon Alexander Injury

August 23rd, 2017

Yes, Kwon Alexander is injured. The severity has not been made public by the Bucs, though Jenna Laine of ESPN says it’s a hamstring.

When Kwon got hurt in practice over the weekend, multimedia guru Rock Riley (@realrockriley) was filming for JoeBucsFan.com and caught the injury on tape. It’s all below.

You’ll see Kwon running over the middle covering a crossing route and then go down without contact. He later appears to talk to trainers about his left hammy and is then consoled by Jason Licht. Scary times right now for Bucs fans with opening day in 19 short days.

Well that kind of sucks. Kwon is tough he will not miss much time. I hope!

Kwon said on Sunday after it happened that he was fine. Roy Cummings tweeted it was not too serious as well.
Every player says they’re “fine.” That Cummings’ Tweet doesn’t mean much to Joe. Of course, Joe sure hopes Kwon is fine.–Joe

He’ll be alright – few weeks at most I hope.

I understand, but they way he addressed it, his body language, etc. was good. It is likely a grade one sprain which isn’t too serious. A good way to prevent and eliminate hamstring pulls is magnesium, for what it’s worth. Magnesium breaks down the lactic acid (that causes muscle soreness), it also aids in full contraction of the muscle, and reduces/eliminates cramps, spasms. etc. Essential nutrient we dont get enough of in our diets…

I sure hope Kwon is okay, the kid is the heart of our “D” in my eyes.

As I am typing this I am knocking on wood, hard and frequently, the injury bug is biting hard in the NFC south. Still think we have been spared for the most part compared to Saints and Panthers…..and especially the Dolphins.

I always dread the games with the Saints, always a tough opponent but after their two big injuries I feel more confident. Hope and pray we can manage any and all injuries that might occur this year.

    this was the cummings tweet:

“The #Bucs got good news re: LB Kwon Alexander on Tues. injury not too serious. Should not be out for too long.”

Sounds like that’s based on real intel. Otherwise that’s really reckless reporting/tweeting

  7. PRBucFan Says:

Just a low sprain, had it been severe there’s no way it would have not gotten out.

Looking forward to seeing you on the football field in 19 short days Kwon I mean Nightmare. Stretch it out homie☺.

  9. Fred E. Bucs Says:

Looks like a mild sprain. Two days later is enough time for MRI and all that if needed (if they even did one; that’s a good question to ask). If he tore it or had a major sprain he’d have been in great pain and maybe not walking at all. But hammies are also tricky because you can tweak them again, so I’d not be surprised if he feels okay but they just keep him out anyway until they need him. We can hope.

Try not to give us your esteemed medical opinion and in the same breath say he “sprained his hamstring”! WTF? A sprained hamstring? A SPRAIN is not a soft tissue injury. And, BTW, you CAN walk on a torn or STRAINED hamstring.
