Way cool clip that HBO released for “Hard Knocks.”
By now, Joe hopes that fans understand what “Hard Knocks” is because Joe has written about it so much. You know, the NFL Films-produced reality series on HBO featuring the Bucs this summer? The first episode is Aug. 8.
Many fans have never seen the show, partly because it is on a premium cable channel. Well, in a clip recently released by HBO, it is a perfect example of what “Hard Knocks” is: a behind-the-curtain look at how NFL teams build.
The clip below features winning Bucs coach Dirk Koetter addressing all the rookies, including rookie free agents, upon their arrival to training camp.
Koetter basically details how each one of them will get an opportunity if earned and they better be prepared when their number is called. The clip ends with words that are likely still ringing in the rookies’ minds this morning.

Started my HBO Now and watched last years episodes. I like the concept. Looking forward to seeing Bucs edition.

And that opportunity is coming up quick!!!!!!!!!!!!! In 4 days is the first preseason game!!!!!!!!! Hopefully everyone will stay healthy to get a full opportunity so that play and coaches make roster decisions and not injuries!!!!!!!!!

And even more important than ASJ87 learning a lesson, is that the Head Coach laid the law down!!!! All the players no know that the bar has been raised!!! Tried not to do that, really tried, but JBF search engine would not yield the vid I was searching for. Tried many different search terms, but to no good end. Had to resort to a Google search (oh, the SHAME). to find even that. Trust me, I despise the MSM for a lot of reasons, and not just for football news either. Maybe the Joes web dude could tighten that search engine up some. Just sayin’. Go Bucs!!

Nice try, but no sale. Does not specifically show Godfather Dirk ushering off ASJ Jackwagon, as I was looking for. I saw that particular link and found it wanting in support of my original contention. I am hardly a web newbie, having authored several web sites of my own.
