Kwon Gets Props
July 20th, 2017The PFF tribe may not think much of Bucs middle linebacker Kwon Alexander, but one of Alexander’s NFL warrior colleagues believes otherwise.
In an episode of “Total Access” this week, seen weeknights on NFL Network, Minnesota linebacker Eric Kendricks picked the top five linebackers “On the Rise.” At No. 3, Kendricks selected Alexander.
“First of all, Kwon can run real fast,” Kendricks said. “And I have seen him work. I worked out with him at the combine so i know he is a hard worker. He flies around and makes plays. He is exciting to watch.”
So who did Kendricks choose for his top five? From Nos. 5-1 Myles Jack, Ryan Shazier, Alexander, Anthony Barr and, well, himself.
Co-host of “Total Access,” Willie McGinest, noted he “liked” the selection of Alexander and offered that Alexander got after him on Twitter when McGinest did not select the Bucs in his ranking of top 10 linebacker units.
So when McGinest related his interaction with Alexander he also said to him in the segment following Kendricks’ ranking, “Alright Kwon.”

Considering he had himself at one and teammate Barr at 2, I’d say that’s pretty big props.

Real recognize real Tnew. All these young Buccaneer warriors are hungry for some recognition. They about to start getting it. Reminds of when the late Great Reggie White went to green bay. They were coming then landed the free agent prize who chose them over dallas and san fran. Sorta like DeSean coming here like then no one expected it. The rest as they say was history.

Gotta pay your dues tho, no-one knew who Sherman and those boys were before they beat the pats in the “you mad bro” game. H3ll they even said Brady was on the field saying “who are you guys, y’all a bunch nobodies”. That game set they’re train in motion. They said when they beat them the knew they could beat anybody in the league. They finish that year 9 and 7. I wonder how our guys felt after beating those same hawks last season. Just so happen we finish 9 and 7. Needless to say the hawks have dominant ever since. Stay tuned to see our dominance take hold.

Gotta respect Eric Kendricks for admitting Kwon is better than him. Very classy.

Oh…he didn’t? I thought it was in the order Joe said, lol.

I’d add Dione Jones (Atl) to that list.

I think Kwon will take a big leap this year in play and recognition will follow. The offense will be much better this year (scoring) and this will allow the defense to play more free.

New nick name sorry to be a little off topic. Recon Alexander! Zero disrespect to the military my sister is retired Army! Recon spends much of their time behind enemy lines. Hope Kwon can see the respect that fans have in his ability to not only play but lead.
