General manager Jason Licht, a man who will be toasted and cheered at Bucs-friendly July 4th barbecues from Lakeland to Largo, always has plenty to stay when he’s joining a radio show.
That was the case in May with Mike Florio, host of PFT Live on NBC Sports Radio and boss and founder at ProFootballTalk.com.

Also, let this video serve as more evidence that Tampa Bay Times columnist Tom Jones was way off the mark when he typed last week that “the rest of the country looks at Tampa Bay the way we look at the Bills, Browns and Rams.” Florio, the most powerful man in NFL media, opens the video saying the Bucs are “doing great off the field and on the field.”

Please stop giving Tom Jones that only thing he craves when he writes the nonsense he does. Attention, attention, attention. I’ve been a subscriber to the St. Petersburg Times, now Tampa Bay Times and the Tampa Tribune since we moved here from Atlanta in 1980. I long ago learned that Tom Jones is only able to hang onto his job by stirring up the local population. I wish he would take a job somewhere far, far away.

Tom jones is just pissed the suits at One Buc don’t give a crap about him. I don’t remember Tom jones ever getting any exclusive interviews. He’s whiny.
