“By Far” Best Roster

Roster chatter.
Most football coaches, regardless of level, don’t like to talk up their team too much and set unfair or unreasonable expectations. Dirk Koetter broke ranks Tuesday.
While discussing general practice items after the team’s first session of underwear football today, Koetter dropped this item:
He said the roster of the Bucs is “by far” the deepest, best roster he has seen since he was hired by then-Bucs coach Lovie Smith two years ago.
So fans drooling for a playoff berth can take comfort in knowing Koetter is doing nothing to douse expectations given his remarks on the quality and depth of his team.

It’s not the ‘better’ that makes it a good comment. Certainly room to improve over what was. What makes it a good comment is the “by far”. Like that a lot.

A lot to like about this roster…younger/deeper/actual all-pro caliber players/non-embarrassing coaches/non-geeky qbs

Need another corner bad ,whom s going outside when grimes or Vh go down ??? I mean whom that you can win in the playoffs with and or go up against Ryan and Bree’s??? Very very thin at corner as far as Outside Corners you can win with, I think there may be enough bodies to find a good nickel and Evans works into the mix a bit also.
Outside depth is non existent!!!
