Uh oh…he helped an opposing player up! 😉 Looks agile at that size…Vince Wolfork-like. Haven’t had a huge NT type that I can remember…

  2. Dooshlarue Says:

I hope he stays away from the “ice cream” and stays light and hungry……

  3. Mick Says:

Bring him in for short yardage stops.

  4. BucfaninMo Says:

Seems to be stood up at the LOS with hardly any penetration. Not seeing anything to be to excited about off these highlights.
Camp meat or am I missing something?

  5. USFBUC Says:

I think we did a good job of addressing our needs. There are players I would have liked for us to land but we can’t get them all. CB and DE will be priorities next year for us.

  6. Gencoimports Says:

He picked up an opposing player. All the GMC haters are going to want to run him out of town!

  7. Steven007 Says:

Sportsmanship? Cut him! I jest of course. Though there are some that will say exactly that. He’s obviously a big space eater and would play on First and or second down. If he can keep his weight in check and display a motor he may have a future.

  8. austinbuc Says:

it sure seems like they are going to at least give themselves the option of playing a 3-4 defense, between looking for a big run stuffer, drafting a lb, and talking about noah spence playing lb

  9. USFBUC Says:

He is either at the line of scrimmage or in the backfield on most plays on my watch through of that highlight.

  10. Rob in Land O Lakes Says:

But you also have to love “the wave” he gave to his former teammates at Utah after he made a tackle. Great story…he appreciates where he’s been and where he’d like to go…and has a bit of an edge to him. We all need to really pull for this guy.

  11. Biggun Says:

looks great on tape and light on his feet

  12. USFBUC Says:

Rob I don’t see him not making it. He just needs to beat out either McDonald or Siligia

  13. Buccfan37 Says:

Stevie T to a tee, I like my mashed taters.

  14. Rrsrq Says:

Thanks Joes for keeping us updated with the stories of the draft picks, excited about this year, can’t wait till the next Bucs uncensored, solid draft, good to going into the draft without a glaring need, but we got starters and depth with only 7 picks

  15. Rrsrq Says:

    *6 picks

  16. pete Says:

    I like this draft!

  17. stanglassman Says:

Paul magliore LB Az UDFA signing time

  18. Dooshlarue Says:

What did we give Miami to move up?

  19. mark2001 Says:

Mo…these huge NT guys aren’t generally supposed to penetrate much…their job is to be an immovable force up the middle and allow the four LB’s clean things up.

  20. Atlbuc28 Says:

@ Jonbuc.. A Patriot site …patspulpit was saying the same thing! talking like it was a given he would be going to them…. Love this pic, seems like a good kid too..

  21. mark2001 Says:

I’d liked the play…the awareness at the 2:10 mark and would be very typical…. stop anything coming up the middle, and peel off and stop anything stepping up.

  22. JonBuc Says:

Something tells me he will be showcased on Hard knocks given his background…

  23. Kevinthepainterimagine Says:

You.dont need to.know.hus jeresey number to find him on the field thats for sure

  24. Pa Privateer Says:

NEWSFLASH!!!!! He doesn’t have to start! Sheesh people. He can be groomed behind Baker for 2 years.

He is the NT/DT I wanted the most. I knew we could get him late and therefore be able to target offensive weapons with the earlier picks. Picking a space eater is easier than picking a pass rushing DT. NT can be had in the later rounds and that is exactly where he was picked.

Welcome to the Bucs big Stevie T!

  25. ARGH_M8E Says:

Adding swaggy Baker and Stevie T definitely has strengthened the rush defense. Similar styles too. Gmac has to b loving this. All 3 require a double team!;)))))))

  26. Pa Privateer Says:

BTW, Litch just repeated his last years offseason.

    FA: NT, S, WR

    Draft: NT, S WR

    I find that interesting

  27. ARGH_M8E Says:

    Imagine the 3-4 look with…

    Spence – Gmac – Stevie T – swaggy – Ayers

    David & kwon behind them

    Good luck

  28. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    Buccaneers signed LB Riley Bullough.
Bullough (6’2/226) made 23 starts at middle linebacker for the Spartans, tallying 18 career tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles. He dabbled at fullback and running back as a freshman, also playing special teams. Undersized and underwhelming athletically, Bullough would do well to carve out an NFL career like his older brother Max, a backup for the Texans whose strength is covering punts and kicks.

  29. Atlbuc28 Says:

!00% agree this kid will be a major focus of hard knocks. He might actually end up being the steal of the draft for the defense at least.

  30. BucfaninMo Says:

    Mark
Understand but I like to see some type of push to narrow pocket space for opposing QBs.

  31. Owlykat Says:

This pick I like. Stevie T. should be right in the middle on all short yardage situations and especially on the goal line. Seems very quick on his feet. At the end of games when the other side tries to run out the game to save a win, bring in Stevie T. and stuff them so Winston can move the Bucs to Kicking Territory where our new place kicker can win the game.

That would make him 28, giving us 2 years before he enters the higher injury risk period of his career.

I’m sorry, but that isn’t good enough. He better do something a whole lot sooner.

  33. Mike Johnson Says:

You never know..them Hawaian/samoan types got that mean strong arm streah in’em. He might just get mad here in camp and start strong arming some lineman!! I hope so. Every now and then you find a gem at the end of the draft. I’m pullin for him. I know he’ll never get mad or pissed off at burgers and fries though….

  34. LifeOfABucFan Says:

    Lol Mike…

Mike Johnson..listen..I’m starting to agree with you more and more each day..glad they didn’t quite run you out of town after all..lol..

  35. Mike Johnson Says:

Welll LifeOfABUCFan..I’m a real Bucs fans, Have been since inception, since I sit in the stands as a Kid with my dad during the…Selmon, Dave Pear, Parnel Dickernson days!! We lost badly then. I just think this is a great pick. I do research. The guy is married with a kid. he’s coming here to work..to make the team. No distractions. No clubs or cat calllin ( ole schoolers no the term) He’s dead serious bout football. He will make the team..and contribute. These Pacific guys are driven. Follow their football paths. I will even predict..he make the team over other selections. Bucs scouts were..spot on with this guy. I know lotsa youngsters here on this website hate, Don’t mean nothin. I’m a Bucs fan for life .Just not like..PEOPLES want me to be!!

  36. PRBucFan Says:

McCoy and Baker are starting but the Bucs need guys to alternate for depth and he’s a great pick up. He doesn’t need to do anything “sooner”. He will gets his reps but won’t be the “starter” as long as McCoy and Baker are on the team.

  37. JP4 Says:

    Mike:
I was there with you back then in the crowd. My first Bucs game was December 1977, the win over the Cards at home. FIRST home win in Bucs history! What a crazy day. I went to one home game a year after that, right up until ’85. After that, the next time I attended was 2010, when I took my son to see the Bucs-Rams play. That was my son’s first NFL game.

  38. Mike Johnson Says:

SAy JP4..Painful days man. My ole man used to sit there in the stands yellin/shoutin,,drinkin his beer. But the tickets back then were..dirt cheap. Parking was..free! No so nowadays. Nice to hear somebody else here appreciate our history.

  39. EvolvingBucsFan Says:

I like the pick, we need depth period especially after last year being exposed on our lack of depth at basically all positions, load em up!!!

    Go Bucs!!!!!!!

  40. ClearwaterWes Says:

Like the way he gets off blocks and makes tackles.
