Rounds 4-7 Open Thread
April 29th, 2017Day 3 of the NFL Draft is here, the day the Kenny Bells, Robert Herrons, Kwon Alexanders and Will Gholstons of the world arrived with little fanfare.
Comment with each other all day long right here, as the Bucs figure out what to do with their remaining picks (Rounds 5 & 7 only) — or perhaps a deal for a 2018 pick.
April 29th, 2017 at 11:48 am
At this point, draft some athletic guys for the trenches. If Perine is there, get him, but he probably will be gone by the time the Bucs choose in the 5th round.
April 29th, 2017 at 11:48 am
Let’s goooooooooo!!! Hopefully we start moving some of those late 2018 picks and get another one of our guys!!! Go BUCS baby!!!
April 29th, 2017 at 11:55 am
Joe Williams RB Utah…… SPEED
April 29th, 2017 at 11:58 am
I just seen zach banner is available! Man would I love to get him in here to play right tackle!
April 29th, 2017 at 12:00 pm
I’m looking forward to hard knocks. This team is going to be exciting
April 29th, 2017 at 12:00 pm
I don’t know what will happen today, but I think we can all expect a FB and our token speed guy to come today. Lol. I love Brian Hill, but don’t forget Wayne gallman rb Clemson is still there as well.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:02 pm
Pats just traded for a TE…you think Gronk is on the trade block?
April 29th, 2017 at 12:03 pm
Bee Bucs I’m with you. Just posted an article regarding his past from USA today. Can’t help but root for him. What he did after he returned was special. Look up any of his games on film. He has some real burst, solid in Pass Protection.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:04 pm
RB Samaje Perine (pretty much hopeless), RT Julie’n Davenport, or DE Bryan Cox please.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:05 pm
@BeeBucs
I Love Joe Wiliams. Has wheels and his elusiveness causes missed tackles.
5’11” 210 4.4
Some teams question possible red flags, but if you do your homework on him you will find the reasons.
He wouldn’t be drafted to be the Day1 RB but he could do it in a pinch. Perfect situation if he came here. Plenty of good tape against good defenses.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:06 pm
Utah RB looks like a good bet for us
April 29th, 2017 at 12:06 pm
Westbrook trying to start a riot
April 29th, 2017 at 12:07 pm
Thisbeagles show is crap. The worst fight song in the NFL
April 29th, 2017 at 12:07 pm
This eagles*
April 29th, 2017 at 12:07 pm
I’d pass on RB Joe Williams. Too many red flags for me. Going after him seems like a desperation move to me. “Oh no! We still need a RB! Who is left???”
April 29th, 2017 at 12:09 pm
Ishmael Zamora.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:09 pm
Lol one udfa signed free agent deals with multiple teams thinking he could pick the best situation for him later. LOL what a dumb@$$
April 29th, 2017 at 12:09 pm
What are his red flags? I didn’t hear much
April 29th, 2017 at 12:10 pm
Here’s to finding a late round gem!
April 29th, 2017 at 12:11 pm
Kf your asking for Zamora’s red flag, the only thing I know of is he beat his dog
April 29th, 2017 at 12:11 pm
Ah just read a few things.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:12 pm
Mike Evans GOAT who?
April 29th, 2017 at 12:12 pm
Maybe we know the market for Mack. It’s hard to not know who is coming to scout college games in your stadium.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:15 pm
Mack may not be drafted. USF gets no respect.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:16 pm
Joeypoppems Says
“If your asking for Zamora’s red flag, the only thing I know of is he beat his dog”
Better than choking his chicken I suppose…
April 29th, 2017 at 12:16 pm
Bonzai
They didn’t give a name.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:16 pm
Is it tho? Lmao
April 29th, 2017 at 12:19 pm
NJbucs… The USA Today article on him explains a lot. Has a ton of questions but most all appear to have legit reasons behind them. My question is the kid bipolar or did he just finally get his life together at 23, could have happened. At any case, stepping away, for a month to get himself together, might have been a very mature thing to do. He seems to know he needed it and came back on the other side a very motivated, very different person. People do this and 23 is about the correct age to start to put things together.
I’m going to disagree with Bonzai.. the talent and draft position WAY outweigh the red flags.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:20 pm
Licht is going to trade back and pick up a short stop, a goalie a solid center and 2 pitching prospects. What a haul. You can’t put it in the book!!!
Smartest guy in the room. In Licht we trust! Amirite?
April 29th, 2017 at 12:21 pm
Worst person in the draft right there to Jacksonville
April 29th, 2017 at 12:21 pm
Thanks tnew. I also read he already “retired” once. That’s a big question mark for me
April 29th, 2017 at 12:22 pm
@ Bonzai
I get the red flags issues on Joe Williams. I won’t argue that they exist either. But if you read the background to them all it is a different story. He has a great story and you can’t help but root for him. The casual draft “expert” doesn’t look past the media Red Flag comments.
His Red Flags are nowhere near the Rad Flags of Martin, Winston (college), etc. Utah would not have been anything this year without Joe Williams. Utah’s QB was not elite in any sense. The OL and RB carried that team.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:24 pm
Looks like my wish for.Perine is.loooooong gone unless they trade theyre seventh and another late round next year to move uo…..FOOOOOOKC!!!!!
OH WELL I TRUST LICHT AND KOETTER will produce what we need.on offense. defense.seems hopeless
April 29th, 2017 at 12:25 pm
Tedric Thompson was on my wish list, but we already got our safety so no big deal.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:25 pm
I just wanna see how many more bad picks the Rams make lol
April 29th, 2017 at 12:26 pm
Why is the defense hopeless? Lol
April 29th, 2017 at 12:27 pm
Seahawks will be very happy with S Tedric Thompson
April 29th, 2017 at 12:28 pm
I suspect the Bucs are going to use more 3-4 looks and mix things up. Start blitzing David more like in his rookie season. Overall I like what they are doing But Id like to see another edge rusher.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:29 pm
I wonder if Hard Knocks appearance will help the Bucs sign more UDFAs.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:29 pm
Dorian Johnson has a liver issue, that’s why he’s falling. Maybe we take a go wr on him?
April 29th, 2017 at 12:30 pm
Marlon Mack or Tarik Cohen in the 5th
April 29th, 2017 at 12:30 pm

April 29th, 2017 at 12:33 pm
I KNEW the skins were about to take Samaje Perine! dang it.
Well, we knew there was little chance that he would fall.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:33 pm
Sigh, blah, there goes Perine.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:33 pm
There goes perine
April 29th, 2017 at 12:33 pm
There goes PEE- RINE
April 29th, 2017 at 12:34 pm
Next yrs 7th pick conditionally for Matt Jones. Give him a chance to fix the fumbles and soft running
April 29th, 2017 at 12:34 pm
aaaaaaaaaaaaand hes gone, that sucks
April 29th, 2017 at 12:35 pm
Dupree will be long gone by the time the Bucs pick next and I don’t see them trading up doe another WR
April 29th, 2017 at 12:35 pm
Dorian Johnson gone
April 29th, 2017 at 12:35 pm
There goes Dorian Johnson…another off my list.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:36 pm
Dang. It’s gonna be a long afternoon lol
April 29th, 2017 at 12:38 pm
Carl Lawson going in the 4th round. What a steal
April 29th, 2017 at 12:38 pm
I would call Cleveland – for Isaiah Crowell.
See if they’ll take a 2018 2nd round pick.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:38 pm
Cincy is more likely to trade one of their backs
April 29th, 2017 at 12:39 pm
we should trade and take corn elder or kazee
April 29th, 2017 at 12:39 pm
Bungals got carl Lawson. I remember him being talked about as a 1st rounder last year. Good pick
April 29th, 2017 at 12:39 pm
carl lawson off the board. probably for the best. the guy was always hurt.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:40 pm
45 more picks until it’s our turn
April 29th, 2017 at 12:40 pm
LOL!!!! A 2nd round pick for Crowell? Are you high?
April 29th, 2017 at 12:41 pm
Instant Upgrades
Trade 1st 2018
>>Richard Sherman
Trade 2nd 2018
>>Isaiah Crowell
April 29th, 2017 at 12:41 pm
Jist face it guys. They are sticking with Doug Martin
April 29th, 2017 at 12:42 pm
Ayyyy Rams made a decent pick lol
April 29th, 2017 at 12:42 pm
Crowell wouldn’t be worth a 2nd rounder in 2019.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:43 pm
and that’s not a bad thing.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:44 pm
Josh Reynolds could be really good. But he could also be Kenny Bell.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:44 pm
Goodness gracious..Vince Ferragamo still looks gorgeous..
April 29th, 2017 at 12:44 pm
Mike Evans
Lol, why not?
Since we’re just throwing away picks now
April 29th, 2017 at 12:44 pm
FB Cody Heiman might be worth checking out as an undrafted free agent. Maybe put him on PS and develop him.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:44 pm
Yeah Crowell is not worth a 2nd Rd
April 29th, 2017 at 12:45 pm
Eagles fans the most obnoxious fans on earth
April 29th, 2017 at 12:45 pm
Kramer make the damn pick
April 29th, 2017 at 12:45 pm
Comon Luv u know that is very dumb. Don’t give away a 1st rounder (and 5 years of control) for an aging cb.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:46 pm
Please NFL. Next year go to a city without a fight song
April 29th, 2017 at 12:46 pm
Lol, I know
He’s worth at least mid-round selection though.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:46 pm
well fhe goods news.is I am no longer regretting buying my Martin jersey after his new contract last year. Dougie fresh lives on!!!
April 29th, 2017 at 12:46 pm
Yes they are. Try living with them
April 29th, 2017 at 12:46 pm
Damn, I love Mack Hollins
April 29th, 2017 at 12:46 pm
Just make the dang picks. This crap is annoying.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:47 pm
Kramer is a fake fan. He had to read the fight song like he was reading stock news
April 29th, 2017 at 12:48 pm
He solid between the tackles – and a decent reciever out of the backfield.
In our system he would flourish
April 29th, 2017 at 12:48 pm
Lol!
They still trying to recover from that Nuke Drew Pearson dropped on them last night JP.
That’s one of my favorite moments from the draft. And I can’t stand the Cowboys.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:49 pm
Well, now nfl.com is running behind.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:50 pm
It’s no coincidence that in the movie Silver Linings Playbook, Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro played Eagles fans with mental issues and De Niro was barred from Eagles Home games for getting into too many brawls!
April 29th, 2017 at 12:50 pm
So the deal the NFL and Philly made is the NFL has an option for a second year (next yr) if all goes well. There has been a lot of talk that the NFL is 99% sure they will pick up that option
April 29th, 2017 at 12:51 pm
I would pay cash money to never hear that stupid Eagles song again.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:51 pm

LMFAO!!! That’s right!! What great movie too!
April 29th, 2017 at 12:52 pm
I hope everyone keeps sleeping on Brian Hill
April 29th, 2017 at 12:53 pm
LuvmyBucs.. Even with Oj HOward, I like Sprinkle in the 7th.. could make that fall. He blocks well and has very sure hands. If he doesn’t work at TE he could make the switch to OL. I am an ex Razorback.. I always thought because of his blocking skills he could possibly convert to tackle. He looked better as a blocker than a receiver IMO. His frame looks like he could put on more weight. 6’5″ 260 or so at combine. Not sure he could gain 40 pounds and how much of his 4.7 speed goes away at that point but his footwork is solid.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:53 pm
that totally sucks. the rest of the league deserves equal time. If that is the case Ronde should come out with each Bucs pick (with many bodyguards of course) showing his int returns on a screen. That would be good payback.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:53 pm
Wow, Tarik Cohen off the board before Wayne Gallman and Donnel Pumphrey.
Wut.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:54 pm
@Gen the author of the book is local to Philly and yes all Philly fans have some sort of mental issues….part of the reason the cling to a fictional boxer but you don’t hear much about the real boxer from Philly that was really good
April 29th, 2017 at 12:55 pm
Isaiah Crowell
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmkjfa_mpEA
2016
YDS: 952 | TD’s: 7 | AVG: 4.8
REC: 40 | YDS: 319 | AVG: 8.0
Defintely worth a Mid-Round Pick
April 29th, 2017 at 12:55 pm
DAMN YOU SF
There goes Joe Williams
April 29th, 2017 at 12:55 pm
Joe Williams to SF
April 29th, 2017 at 12:56 pm
Could the fumbles be what is killing Marlon Mack?
April 29th, 2017 at 12:56 pm
There went Williams.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:56 pm
@NJ, who was the name of the real boxer?
April 29th, 2017 at 12:56 pm
Joe Williams gonzo
April 29th, 2017 at 12:56 pm
^That’s why I don’t really want Mack. He had a worse fumble rate than Dalvin Cook.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:57 pm
Joe Frazier
April 29th, 2017 at 12:57 pm
Hardy Nickerson’s kid still hasn’t been picked?
April 29th, 2017 at 12:57 pm
He beat Mohammed Ali
April 29th, 2017 at 12:57 pm
Blake
I’m telling u, BRIAN HILL
April 29th, 2017 at 12:57 pm
Speaking of Cook, you guys think we’ll ever see that guy again?
April 29th, 2017 at 12:57 pm
Crowell hasn’t shown to be much of a receiver.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:57 pm
That guy Nosbos I mean.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:58 pm
If we draft him I will have a Hill jersey b4 camp. Lol
April 29th, 2017 at 12:58 pm
Congrats John Lynch on the selection of Joe Williams. You got a great player there.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:58 pm
Sucks Marlon Mack will be gone.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:58 pm
Luv, maybe he would be worth a 3rd rounder next year.
April 29th, 2017 at 12:59 pm
I was gonna say, we play the Vikings week 3 lol
April 29th, 2017 at 12:59 pm
@ Blake
Let him mourn. I was pretty upset, but I didn’t have my heart set on Cook as much as he did

Smokin’ Joe Frazier? Who had a cameo in the First Rocky movie. I thought you would be talking about some relative unknown.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:01 pm
NOS brought it in himself. All his conspiracy theories were good for a laugh though
April 29th, 2017 at 1:02 pm
I just dont get it. The draft is supposedly fixed for teams to get local talent, yet we have no players from Florida yet. Its almost like…. its not fixed
April 29th, 2017 at 1:02 pm
Julie’n davenport and Grover Stewart (no particular order)
April 29th, 2017 at 1:03 pm
^Hahahaha
no doubt.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:03 pm
I’m all for picking up Barnidge. Browns are fools to let him go.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:03 pm
Damn there goes Jalen Reeves-Maybin
April 29th, 2017 at 1:03 pm
Oh no…but when you hear about Philly and you’re hear…the only boxer you hear about is Rocky. A movie boxer from the 80’s. It’s commical how they hold on to that character yet do not celebrate their real successes
April 29th, 2017 at 1:04 pm
Jackie Slater – now that was a football player.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:06 pm
Blake you do know we play the Vikings right? Let’s just hope he doesn’t blow our doors off.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:08 pm
RT Julie’n Davenport, or DE Bryan Cox for the Bucs please.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:08 pm
I guess Marlon Mack had nothing to do with USF’s best season ever.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:08 pm
One of the biggest mistakes – our franchise has made recently.
Is drafting kids – with no quality veteran to mentor them at the position.
Sign Barnidge
There’s a reason why most highly drafted TE – don’t produce in the 1st two seasons. There’s so many nuisances of the position he needs to learn. IMO Barnidge will allow us to ease him into the position.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:08 pm
Brian Hill is the 6th best available player according to NFL.com … don’t see how we get him unless we trade up
April 29th, 2017 at 1:09 pm
sooooo bored lol
April 29th, 2017 at 1:10 pm
quit with the RB talk already lolol
such denial I tell ya
April 29th, 2017 at 1:10 pm
Okay, that was my last TE off my list. Can’t say I’m unhappy…cause we got HOWARD!!!!! lol
April 29th, 2017 at 1:11 pm
Most don’t seem to be looking for RB skill players at this point, so Hill MIGHT drop to us in the 5th….. so Licht can draft someone else. Sigh
April 29th, 2017 at 1:11 pm
I was talking about Nos, I am aware. I made a post about it in the open thread yesterday. It went something like this.
Come Week 3, Dalvin is Toast. Mark it Down.
Kwon the King is coming. His wrath shall be felt.
And now throw in Justin Evans, The eraser, and Kendall Beckwith to pair with Kwon, Vonte, And Wilcox.
Dalvin Cook sits out Week 4. I’ll bet you 50 bucks.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:11 pm
Guys left on my list. Some are not needed obviously:
• RB Brian Hill
• WR Travis Rudolph
• OT Zach Banner
• OT Julie’n Davenport
• C/OG Isaac Asiata
• C Kyle Fuller
• DE Bryan Cox
• S Xavier Woods
April 29th, 2017 at 1:11 pm
^@Ndog
April 29th, 2017 at 1:12 pm
Mack is a more realistic possibility with the 162 pick
April 29th, 2017 at 1:12 pm
NosBos, unfortunately, will be back.
He can’t help himself.
He talks himself into a corner for the last 2-3off seasons, then when it’s time to man up……he disappears.
But much like a herpes sore, he will not lay dormant forever.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:12 pm
After reading up and watching some more vids, I really am happy with our 4 picks so far.
I would love Grover Stewart or Stevie Tua…whatshisname.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:13 pm
@Doin yeah that’s for sure. Dalvin’s brother committed to FSU
April 29th, 2017 at 1:13 pm
@Doo*
April 29th, 2017 at 1:14 pm
@ Bonzai
Holy Crap I didn’t realize that C/OG Isaac Asiata was still available. He would be a great addition.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:14 pm
I’m Pulling for Jamaal Williams, Jeremy Mcnichols, Wayne Gallman, or Brian Hill.
But I’d be cool with Davenport or A young DT.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:17 pm
I saw a couple of mocks were Asiata fell to us.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:17 pm
Is it me, or do these guys being picked feel like 6th round talent now?
April 29th, 2017 at 1:18 pm
All I know is I’m can’t wait to draft Cook in my fantasy dynasty league. Playing against that weak division defense’s he is going to have quite a few huge games, especially on that turf in Minnesota and Detroit.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:18 pm
tnew
Since your a HOG
What do you think about us – picking WR Drew Morgan – as a UDFA?
April 29th, 2017 at 1:19 pm
Like Jamaal Williams too
April 29th, 2017 at 1:20 pm
ROFL!!!!!! The guy on NFL Now is hilarious!
April 29th, 2017 at 1:20 pm
Fb, Indy, NYG, NYJ are the only teams that really scare me about taking Hill at this point
April 29th, 2017 at 1:20 pm
If we are talking about rookies in fantasy, I really like Kareem Hunt in KC. Thats a great fit for him.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:20 pm
NDog that backfield is a mess. Muarry, McKinnon and Now Cook. Good luck seeing any ROI early on
April 29th, 2017 at 1:21 pm
Green bay^^^^*****
April 29th, 2017 at 1:22 pm
Behind one of the worst Oline’s in Football, it’s far more likely Dalvin will get Cooked.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:22 pm
Yea I would probly avoid Cook in fantasy just because of how many guys they got. Same with the Saints backfield
April 29th, 2017 at 1:22 pm
Luv. Only as a än UDFA. Loved him in college… easy to route for but is crazy slow. Gets hurt 3-4 times a game and didn’t do much in special teams. Works hard. Catches and hangs on to everything. Not a huge fan going to the bucs. Nor am I high on wise or Ledbetter. Sprinkle tho was nice.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:23 pm
Plus cook will injure his shoulder
April 29th, 2017 at 1:23 pm
Crap! There went Davenport 🙁
April 29th, 2017 at 1:23 pm
Fart.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:23 pm
IMO, Licht doesnt want a rookie running back.
What kind of team are we going to be?
A Passing team.
What do all rookies suck at?
Pass blocking!!
I think Licht believes he can find a vet Rb, after preseason cuts.so bo
April 29th, 2017 at 1:24 pm
Yeah sucks
April 29th, 2017 at 1:24 pm
Still 35 picks to go.

April 29th, 2017 at 1:24 pm
Long time lurker, first time poster. Been on JBF for like 6 years+ it seems.
I want to let you all know that these comments are the best part of this site. The “Joe’s” run a pretty good site, but their commentary has sounded more like Skip Bayless as of late.
I’m looking at Marlon Mack in the 5th. I would love him or Hill.
I’m also totally ok with skipping RB this draft and getting O / D line depth.
The more I read about Justin Evans the more I like him, in two seasons he’ll be a starter and I really like what his presence means when hes on the field (once he learns how to not miss tackles from Mike Smith and co.)
Not an amazing draft so far defensively, but holy moly – our offense is top 5 instantly on paper.
LETS GO BUCS!
April 29th, 2017 at 1:24 pm
Jamal Williams is a solid pass blocker
April 29th, 2017 at 1:25 pm
Mybe Blount comes home ?
April 29th, 2017 at 1:25 pm
Capt. Tim we are going to be balanced. If Koetter has his way we will run 55 pct of the time. But you are right that he wants RBs who can block.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:27 pm
Darren sproles 2.0
April 29th, 2017 at 1:27 pm
I would be surprised if the Bucs sign Blount or Charles. Only way that happens is if one of our backs gets injured in the preseason.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:28 pm
USF RB M.Mack is still available…
April 29th, 2017 at 1:28 pm
You guys keep telling yourselves Cook sucks, he’s hurt and all that crap but when the games start let’s see what you are saying then. I hope we destroy him but the bottom line is the guy is special.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:28 pm
There are a few teams with RBs on the block. Alfred Morris would be a decent pickup
April 29th, 2017 at 1:28 pm
Love Donnel Pumphrey’s tape. But i just can’t get over the fact that he looks like a high school kid on tape.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:29 pm
Damn it.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:29 pm
Guys, What about josh Dobbs in the fifth?
April 29th, 2017 at 1:29 pm
NDog not too many teams thought he’s as special as you do. Teams get it wrong sometimes but so do fans. Enjoy your fantasy year
April 29th, 2017 at 1:29 pm
Tnew
Thanks for Intel
How about us drafting Rawleigh Williams in 2018?
April 29th, 2017 at 1:30 pm
Ryan Switzer .. related to Barry?
April 29th, 2017 at 1:30 pm
Packers are taking Jamal Williams
April 29th, 2017 at 1:30 pm
Luv. Not overly high on him either. Needs major holes
April 29th, 2017 at 1:32 pm
Ndog, I can honestly say Dalvon Cook is one of the furthest people from my mind. We didn’t get him, so I moved on.
You should do the same.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:32 pm
Keep sliding Brian Hill. We got a spot for you here
April 29th, 2017 at 1:33 pm
Tnew
#Respect
April 29th, 2017 at 1:33 pm
Fart on a Chicken! There goes my guy.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:34 pm
No one is gonna touch Caleb Brantley huh?
Not even the fans that were ok with Mixon, but think we also need DL as well?
Is it because his incident just happened or am I missing something?
April 29th, 2017 at 1:34 pm
Bonzai when we get a decent running back I will gladly move on. But since we don’t have one I’m still not all that happy.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:34 pm
I like what I’m reading on Hill
April 29th, 2017 at 1:35 pm
Dobbs would be good pick
April 29th, 2017 at 1:36 pm
Ok. Now it’s down to Mcnichols, Hill, and probably Mack (Who I really don’t want tbh, his tape is not so bad, but he is a fumbler) They would have to be the highest rated player on the board though, or Lichts not gonna take a RB.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:36 pm
and there he goes
April 29th, 2017 at 1:36 pm
Smh – I knew it would be a run of good RB’s in the 4th
April 29th, 2017 at 1:37 pm
I really dont think they will take a RB at all
April 29th, 2017 at 1:38 pm
Lol, reach by Pittsburgh. Trying to find their Dak I guess, but Dobbs is not an accurate thrower.
Kaaya is still on the board if i’m not mistaken. Kaaya would have been a better bet.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:39 pm
Nice call Blake
April 29th, 2017 at 1:39 pm
I think it’s 50-50 if they take a back. I’m ok if they do, but I rather they focus in the trenches
April 29th, 2017 at 1:39 pm
DAmn U Falcons
They picked up one of my GOONS -SEAN HARLOW
April 29th, 2017 at 1:40 pm
Once again, we’ll be rolling through the compensatory picks, and once again, the Bucs won’t be on that list.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:40 pm
I think we are looking for a Kr/punt returner, long snapper, or any project lineman.
ImO, Licht is planning to sign RB and DE from the Cutdown list,
April 29th, 2017 at 1:41 pm
Colts took Zach banner
April 29th, 2017 at 1:41 pm
25 more picks until our turn
April 29th, 2017 at 1:42 pm
NFL network is way behind
April 29th, 2017 at 1:42 pm
Yeah. Bad tv viewing.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:43 pm
Espn is a pick ahead at the moment
April 29th, 2017 at 1:45 pm
Is Marlon Mack still available? I hope Bucs take Brian Hill or Marlon Mack
April 29th, 2017 at 1:46 pm
Guys left on my list.
• RB Brian Hill
• WR Travis Rudolph
• C/OG Isaac Asiata
• C Kyle Fuller
• DE Bryan Cox
• S Xavier Woods
April 29th, 2017 at 1:46 pm
#HopeForHill
April 29th, 2017 at 1:46 pm
So we go into next season will no running game and no pass rush. Freaking great since we play Brady, Brees twice, Ryan twice, Cam twice, Rodgers, Stafford, Eli and Palmer. All of those guys will kill us without two things, time of possession (running game) and a pass rush (defensive ends) and we have neither. Almost outlook for the season. F this crap.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:47 pm
Any thoughts on Brantley and Butt being our Next picks
April 29th, 2017 at 1:48 pm
Bonzai, Rudolph sucks!
April 29th, 2017 at 1:49 pm
Why has Brantley fallen? I thought he was rated a lot higher?
April 29th, 2017 at 1:49 pm
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CsbbEPmfxzI
Ndog and Nos Bos right now lol
April 29th, 2017 at 1:49 pm
@Dano: Mack is still available. May not be for long, though.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:49 pm
Butt could be a redshirt for next year. Would really sure up the TE position for years.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:49 pm
@ndog, yaaaaaawwwwwwwnnnnn
April 29th, 2017 at 1:50 pm
@PA there are allegations he hit a women at a night club.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:50 pm
good one blake
April 29th, 2017 at 1:50 pm
Brantley got charged with DV I think. He’s undraftable
April 29th, 2017 at 1:50 pm
Mack is falling fast man
April 29th, 2017 at 1:51 pm
Brian Hill or dez king
NYG took gallman
April 29th, 2017 at 1:52 pm
I don’t think undraftable. Especially in this draft with Mixon going. The bigger story is Mixon because of the video. Brantley being picked would create a small hubub but fade away quickly
April 29th, 2017 at 1:52 pm
Rodney Adams hasn’t been picked up either..
April 29th, 2017 at 1:53 pm
Mack is not falling, but Hill is, according to NFL.com
Hill is no. 81 on Brandt’s top 150 prospects, but Mack is unranked.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:53 pm
Mixons incident hapoened 3 years ago. Brantley was 3 weeks ago HUGE difference
April 29th, 2017 at 1:54 pm
Haha you see that Philly tool that left his honeymoon early without his wife to go to the draft?!?
April 29th, 2017 at 1:54 pm
Adams will probably go in the 6th-7th
April 29th, 2017 at 1:55 pm
@Joey not sure there’s much difference because of the video. While it proves he’s stupid and needs to be knocked out…not sure there is a difference
April 29th, 2017 at 1:55 pm
Brian Hill please football gods!!!
April 29th, 2017 at 1:56 pm
He doesn’t deserve his wife.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:57 pm
I wonder how Doug Martin would feel if the Bucs drafted Jeremy McNichols, RB from Boise State.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:58 pm
The difference is Mixon’s case is settled because of how long ago it was. Brantley is still under investigation
April 29th, 2017 at 1:58 pm
He’d probably be very cool with it.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:59 pm
I forgot about the Brantley story, thanks guys.
I think the Bucs go with a big Ugly at our pick….either OL or a NT.
Lots of OL still on the board and several DT/NT that the bucs have shown some sort of interest.
April 29th, 2017 at 1:59 pm
And if it’s dropped or he’s innocent?
It’s worth the shot. Look at Collins from LSU and Conely this year.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:00 pm
Jalen robinette is still available?
April 29th, 2017 at 2:01 pm
I don’t buy the bucs are happy with who they have in the backfield. If that were the case they would not have brought in all the backs for president draft visits! Please don’t tell me they were brought in as a smokescreen.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:02 pm
There goes Mack
April 29th, 2017 at 2:02 pm
Marlon Mack to the Colts.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:02 pm
Yea I dont think he will go undrafted. Somebody will take a shot on him
April 29th, 2017 at 2:03 pm
Mack is gone
April 29th, 2017 at 2:03 pm
And there goes Mack to Indy
April 29th, 2017 at 2:03 pm
Lol
April 29th, 2017 at 2:03 pm
Jalen Robinette is undraftable. He has to serve 2 more years.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:03 pm
DANGIT there goes Grover Stewart
April 29th, 2017 at 2:03 pm
Robinette is being forced by the Air Force to serve his 2 years in the Air Force. Hard to draft a guy who won’t play
April 29th, 2017 at 2:04 pm
A lot of those visits were before they saw how refocused Martin was. And part of it is smokescreen. And part of it is Howard falling into their lap.
If Howard wasn’t a Buc, we might be having a different conversation right now.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:05 pm
This is bad TV. I don’t often agree with Mayock but he even said this is bad TV and if they go back to the zoo again he’s leaving the set. Might be his last draft
April 29th, 2017 at 2:06 pm
hopefully they will make dallas buc proud and draft another kicker
April 29th, 2017 at 2:06 pm
I think he was joking NJ lol
April 29th, 2017 at 2:06 pm
LETS GO!!! Brian Hill needs to fall in our laps
April 29th, 2017 at 2:06 pm
What do u mean back to the zoo? What’s bad TV im confused
April 29th, 2017 at 2:07 pm
Teams bring in smokescreen all the time!!!!
April 29th, 2017 at 2:07 pm
When the Colts pick they cut to an Organutan in a zoo
April 29th, 2017 at 2:08 pm
Bad TV? Put Drew Pearson on it!
April 29th, 2017 at 2:08 pm
Brian Hill PLEASE
April 29th, 2017 at 2:08 pm
Why lol
April 29th, 2017 at 2:08 pm
Unfortunately, USA decided Robinette or Steele hammer (Safety) must serve at least 2 years on active duty. So they wouldn’t be able to play until 2019.
As a USAFA grad that makes me sad. Navy let both of its players servf in the reserves without any active futy commitment last year.
Maybe use a 7th round pick on one of them.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:08 pm
*Orangutan
April 29th, 2017 at 2:08 pm
We are going to be the new New Orleans Saints crappy running back’s throwing the ball every play and no defense which mean’s 9-7/8-8 forever. Hope we all enjoy since none of you people wanted a runningback. Let’s enjoy Doug running up our guards back or Quizz seeing the whole but getting a whole 6 yards instead of going to the house. Oh yeah how could i forget old twinkle toes dancing in the back field and losing two yards. Yeah I can never get enough of that. Let’s do it again.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:08 pm
Idk lol
April 29th, 2017 at 2:08 pm
17 more picks
April 29th, 2017 at 2:08 pm
On NFL network all the colts picks were announced by an orangutan touching a TV. Every team pick has been some stupid setup
April 29th, 2017 at 2:10 pm
Blake – many things we say in jest are often how we feel. He’s not happy about this tv crap.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:12 pm
Wow, passed on Perrine and Mack for an LB with a blown knee–any ass clown fantasy football guy could make better picks than Licht! Draft grade: D-, only thing saving us from an F was Howard falling into his lap!
April 29th, 2017 at 2:12 pm
God, Scott Reynolds is an idiot. Tweeting SUPRISE bucs trade back into 3rd round. So dumb to teez people right now waiting for the bucs to pick
April 29th, 2017 at 2:12 pm
You cut and paste those whimper and whine posts do you ndog?
April 29th, 2017 at 2:12 pm
Mack McNichols or Hill
April 29th, 2017 at 2:13 pm
Greg
I’m guessing you are that @$$ clown?
April 29th, 2017 at 2:13 pm
Please Bucs draft KD Cannon, he’s gonna be solid depth at this point!! And the Commish is pissed that Mack was drafted by the Colts.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:13 pm
Guzzie
Mack is a colt
April 29th, 2017 at 2:14 pm
I can see the TB on the bottom! We getting close lol
April 29th, 2017 at 2:14 pm
Damn there goes BLAIR BROWN
April 29th, 2017 at 2:15 pm
Brian Hill or dezmond king.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:15 pm
Mayock loves Josh McCown. Joe is not going to like that.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:15 pm
Seriously hating the Falcons right now.
Smh – still hope Kazee has a great career.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:16 pm
I like King
April 29th, 2017 at 2:16 pm
Luv
I hope he sucks LOL
April 29th, 2017 at 2:17 pm
What do you guys think of Davon Godchaux, LSU DT?
http://www.nfl.com/draft/2017/profiles/davon-godchaux?id=2558012
April 29th, 2017 at 2:18 pm
I agree NDog, hate tge fact if no rb. In a draft class heavy with rb , we sit conent with a up and down rb with drug issues, a rb that Koetter didnt think was good enough in Atlanta, and tge Dancing Bear.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:19 pm
Sign Blount bring him home !!!!
April 29th, 2017 at 2:19 pm
Bucs are going DL or CB in the 5th. It’s clear to me, Licht is happy with his OL and RB situation.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:21 pm
Carroll Phillips DE Illinois
Joe Mathis DE Washington
Jeremy Sprinkle TE Arkansas
Jeremy Cutrer CB Middle Tennessee
David Jones FS Richmond
April 29th, 2017 at 2:21 pm
Look at our dline, McCoy, McDonald, Baker, and Ayers all in the back half of their careers. Smith and Spence coming off of injury and one of those guys is Always hurt. Lastly Goldson is a great run defender but can’t rush the passer. So who on this team is going to apply pressure? So not only next year but going forward we will get worse as all of our old guys trail off. Look at the Patriots in this draft dline, dline then more dline. While we draft a linebacker with a busted knee and a safety that can’t take good angles. Bottom line other than OJ and Godwin this draft will result in zero upgrade for this team.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:21 pm
Skins and jets only 2 in worried about taking Hill
April 29th, 2017 at 2:22 pm
Chargers take king, good pick.
I think Rb is the pick if one of the 2 guys remaining make it past the Ravens and the Jets.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:22 pm
Mike Evans
Yeah when he plays us of course.
But outside of that — I’m pulling for the kid.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:22 pm
panthers take Elder Corn.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:22 pm
This is hard to watch
April 29th, 2017 at 2:22 pm
Let’s remember there isbRB talent to be found. Blount UDFA not even signed by us at first. Ernest Graham UFDA. Arian Foster and so many more
April 29th, 2017 at 2:22 pm
Fuhhhhhhhhhhhhhh-Q!!!! All my guys r coming off the board😡
April 29th, 2017 at 2:22 pm
Brian Hill please and thank you
April 29th, 2017 at 2:23 pm
@Ndog, We will get pressure with craftily designed LB and Safety Blitzes. Just watch dude. We’re gonna play a lot more 3-4 this year.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:24 pm
DT in our next pick.
Go Bucs!!!
April 29th, 2017 at 2:24 pm
Bengals take a Kicker Lol.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:24 pm
9 more picks Brian Hill might make it, he’s a future starter
April 29th, 2017 at 2:24 pm
Ndog
What team do you Manage? Are you one of the 32 smartest football minds in the world? I didn’t think so. Remember we were the laughing stock of the league just 3 years ago
In Licht I Trust
April 29th, 2017 at 2:24 pm
Brantley?
April 29th, 2017 at 2:25 pm
Damn MALACHI DUPRE is still on the board
April 29th, 2017 at 2:25 pm
Meanwhile, Mccoys another year older and with more excuses of not drafting help for him.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:26 pm
Brantley would be a dope pick
April 29th, 2017 at 2:27 pm
Dede Westbrook please
April 29th, 2017 at 2:27 pm
Sprinkle gone to the skins
April 29th, 2017 at 2:27 pm
Well there’s that – Sprinkle to Washington
April 29th, 2017 at 2:27 pm
Top 4 players available are Godchaux, Dupree, Hill and Asiata
April 29th, 2017 at 2:27 pm
Westbrook is gone already.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:28 pm
Davon Godchaux DT is coming to Tampa…..wait for it!
April 29th, 2017 at 2:28 pm
I believe Westbrook was taken
April 29th, 2017 at 2:28 pm
Dodo Westbrook is a jag, and also the worst person in this draft
April 29th, 2017 at 2:29 pm
^Dede gone
April 29th, 2017 at 2:29 pm
I’m ok with any of those 4 guys, but prefer the two linemen
April 29th, 2017 at 2:29 pm
He gonnne
April 29th, 2017 at 2:29 pm
EDGE RUSHERS
• CARROLL PHILLIPS OLB/DE ILLINOIS ←
• JOE MATHIS OLB/DE WASHINGTON ←
RECIEVERS
• MALACHI DUPRE WR LSU ←
April 29th, 2017 at 2:29 pm
Bucky Hodges is still on the board Luv, But I’d prefer the best available RB tbh.
With the addition of O.J. and the established presence of Brate, we should be set at TE for a while.
But even if Doug Martin has another bounce back year in him, he is getting a little long in the tooth.
We should scoop up Hill if he’s there.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:30 pm
By blatantly ignoring the running back position in the draft, aren’t you kinda saying..”It’s cool,Drug. So what if you screwed us last season after a big payday…we won’t bring in competition. Enjoy a 3 week vacation and come back with a can-do attitude!” It also gives him more negotiation power ( to not take less/re-do his deal ).
April 29th, 2017 at 2:30 pm
I want Brantley at this point
April 29th, 2017 at 2:31 pm
GOAT you don’t need to manage a team to have eyes. We have the same team in backs and dline as last year thus the same problems. Players at this stage in their careers don’t get better brother.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:31 pm
I don’t think we go WR the rest of the draft
April 29th, 2017 at 2:31 pm
Westbrook was taken last round
April 29th, 2017 at 2:31 pm
The reports by witnesses now on his incident are conflicting and he was only charged with a misdemeanor
April 29th, 2017 at 2:31 pm
There’s gonna be a ton of talent – hitting the UDFA list.
I wonder if that’s what Licht is banking on
April 29th, 2017 at 2:32 pm
Then maybe a CB in the seventh round
April 29th, 2017 at 2:32 pm
I don’t think Brantley even gets drafted. Not just because of what he did, but SO CLOS to the draft makes you question his intelligence and self control.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:32 pm
The Steelers didn’t draft a RB in each of the last two years when Bell was suspended for 3 games both times.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:33 pm
Blake
Smh – Crazy.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:34 pm
I think Westbrook is gone I think
April 29th, 2017 at 2:34 pm
F**k u Dede!
April 29th, 2017 at 2:34 pm
Falcons took Hill.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:35 pm
LOLOLOLOLOLOL
April 29th, 2017 at 2:35 pm
Take a shot on Brantley. His comp is Aaron Donald
April 29th, 2017 at 2:35 pm
F#CK YOU FAIL CLOWNS!!!!!!!!!
April 29th, 2017 at 2:35 pm
There goes Hill to Atlanta
April 29th, 2017 at 2:35 pm
Why would Atlanta take Brian Hill so pissed
April 29th, 2017 at 2:35 pm
I agree Jason he is stupid but we need a DT and at this point it would be huge value
April 29th, 2017 at 2:35 pm
Dammmmn — F the Falcons…lol
April 29th, 2017 at 2:35 pm
F*CK!!!!! Why the heck do they need ANOTHER running back?!? ARGH
April 29th, 2017 at 2:35 pm
Ha
April 29th, 2017 at 2:35 pm
Yep, Falcons got him
April 29th, 2017 at 2:35 pm
Davon Godchaux DT is coming to Tampa……wait for it!
April 29th, 2017 at 2:36 pm
I think that ends the quest for a rookie RB lmao
April 29th, 2017 at 2:36 pm
God d@mn it. FML I hope he sucks!!!!!
April 29th, 2017 at 2:36 pm
Aaron Jones or Jeremy McNichols, we are screwed if we don’t have a backup plan to what we have now
April 29th, 2017 at 2:36 pm
Wow. Did not anticipate the Falcons swiping him.
That sucks.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:36 pm
Joey
The Falcons are Trolling JBF – I swear
April 29th, 2017 at 2:36 pm
McNichols is still there too
April 29th, 2017 at 2:36 pm
They did it to f**k us. They don’t need s RB here
April 29th, 2017 at 2:36 pm
The Falcons now have 3 running backs that could start for us. SMH.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:37 pm
The Falcons took Hill just to po you guys, lol
April 29th, 2017 at 2:37 pm
F@&k Falcons
April 29th, 2017 at 2:37 pm
Mathew Dayes?
April 29th, 2017 at 2:37 pm
Damn another GOON is off the list -T/G HOLDING
April 29th, 2017 at 2:37 pm
Maybe they trade Coleman. Would never be to us though.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:37 pm
Desmond King would have been an awesome fifth rounder – he fell far from the second round some were projecting him at
April 29th, 2017 at 2:38 pm
Pretty much don’t care who we take anymore so disappointed we missed out on Hill
April 29th, 2017 at 2:38 pm
Put me on the Brantley bandwagon.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:38 pm
All the more reasons to hate the bltch az fail clowns
April 29th, 2017 at 2:39 pm
If Jets or Ravens don’t get him…..Davon Godchaux DT is coming to Tampa…..wait for it!
April 29th, 2017 at 2:39 pm
Guaranteed we don’t take Brantley. He just got charged with domestic violence and will end up suspended if anything comes of it.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:39 pm
lol @Mayock and not going back to the Indy zoo!
April 29th, 2017 at 2:39 pm
Is there any situation where the bucs can trade for an RB?
April 29th, 2017 at 2:40 pm
Can we get the big Samoan DT from USC? If we are serious about running some 3-4 looks. This guy is a great fit. I want big Stevie
April 29th, 2017 at 2:40 pm
Almost pick time for our Bucs!
April 29th, 2017 at 2:40 pm
I hope its Brantley, I doubt it will bs tho. Greg Auman tweeted out they could be targeting Jaylen Myrick
April 29th, 2017 at 2:40 pm
That guard Eluemanor or whatever would have been nice
April 29th, 2017 at 2:40 pm

April 29th, 2017 at 2:41 pm
I’m more pissed about Hill than about Cook. And I’m a Nole fan. This guy is gonna tear us up after freeman leaves
April 29th, 2017 at 2:41 pm
Deepest draft at RB in ten years, and we miss out on a five year starter
April 29th, 2017 at 2:41 pm

April 29th, 2017 at 2:41 pm
The victim is already seeking to settle and now some stories are changing

April 29th, 2017 at 2:42 pm

April 29th, 2017 at 2:42 pm

Myrick ran a 4.3 at the combine.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:42 pm
I thought the report was that Brantley knocked out a female?
April 29th, 2017 at 2:43 pm
Lets get some jeremy mcnichols!!!!
April 29th, 2017 at 2:43 pm
Last year was a renowned deep draft for DTs… we draft none.
This year renowned deep draft for RBs…. we draft none.

Yo, I’m soo pissed right now
April 29th, 2017 at 2:43 pm
ARGH_M8E

April 29th, 2017 at 2:43 pm

April 29th, 2017 at 2:46 pm
Brantley was at a bar a woman said something the local paper couldn’t reprint, they argued, she hit him and he hit her back. She claimed she was knocked out and injured but now statements by the witnesses are shifting and he may not be the bad guy they initially made him out to be
April 29th, 2017 at 2:47 pm
Johnson would have been a nice pickup
April 29th, 2017 at 2:47 pm
Rb Boise state

April 29th, 2017 at 2:48 pm
Licht so shook from Roberto that he let teams jump ahead of him for Cook and Roderick Johnson.
Could have really added to the offense. oh well.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:48 pm
Commercial right as we pick. Screw u nfl
April 29th, 2017 at 2:48 pm
Thank God, a flaming RB!

Bucs take RB Jeremy McNichols Boise State
April 29th, 2017 at 2:49 pm
Lol —Who?
April 29th, 2017 at 2:49 pm
Jermey McNichols word
April 29th, 2017 at 2:50 pm
I think Martin will welcome a Boise St. Alum as a teammate
April 29th, 2017 at 2:50 pm
There we go.
I am ok with this.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:50 pm
At worst McNichols is an upgrade over Sims
April 29th, 2017 at 2:50 pm
RB out of Boise St. Oh, the irony
April 29th, 2017 at 2:50 pm
Jeremy McNichols is the last decent RB available I’m happy with this pick, now we can restructure Doug, he could’ve said no, and we’d be screwed
April 29th, 2017 at 2:50 pm
There’s your RB lol
April 29th, 2017 at 2:50 pm
Licht should be fired for not taking Brantley right there
April 29th, 2017 at 2:50 pm
Yes!
April 29th, 2017 at 2:51 pm
@LUVMYBUCS
What do you think of Josh Carraway
April 29th, 2017 at 2:51 pm
ESPN is such garbage.
They’ve literally been talking about Mixon in between every damn pick. Ugh.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:51 pm
Terrell Davis, PFHOF RB, knows more about RBs than any of us and says we have a very deep RB group. Now Super deep with this pick.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:51 pm
I like the pick. McNichols has all the tools to be a solid, competent running back in a committee. And It adds competition to a position of need.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:51 pm
Ok NOW get a DL!
April 29th, 2017 at 2:52 pm
I called it!
April 29th, 2017 at 2:52 pm
Brantley Rd 7
April 29th, 2017 at 2:52 pm
McNichols was super productive last year so let’s see how he pans out in training camp and preseason.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:52 pm
Maybe Brantley falls to round 7? Lol
April 29th, 2017 at 2:53 pm
Kid’s got some stats – I’ll give’em that

April 29th, 2017 at 2:53 pm
McNichols is a nice RB but man Brantley could have given us a really solid DL in the middle…
April 29th, 2017 at 2:54 pm
I don’t see Brantley lasting until the 7th round
April 29th, 2017 at 2:54 pm
I called this pick a month ago…a 21 year old Doug Martin with more speed. Jason Licht is on fire, I can’t wait until we signed our UDFA.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:54 pm
Now we’re cooking with kerosene…
April 29th, 2017 at 2:54 pm
I don’t think we are going to restructure Martin. He will miss 3 games pay if he continues to do what he is doing. If he relapses, he is gone.
I think the back more threatened by this pick is Sims.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:54 pm
screw joe mixon and screw ESPN…
April 29th, 2017 at 2:54 pm
Same size, maybe a bit quicker Martin….hope the pill problems don’t come with this pick
April 29th, 2017 at 2:54 pm
c-spann
Decent Hybrid Back
Looks like he might hit the UDFA list
Could develop into a decent prospect – in the right system
April 29th, 2017 at 2:55 pm
Worst picks of the draft were need picks.
Could have simply traded up for Dalvin, traded up for Roderick or just take the BPA.
You don’t want Evans in space headhunting/missing tackles against the Falcons, Saints and maybe now the Panthers. I like the RB, but I’m not sure he’ll get to the field over Barber.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:55 pm
Caleb Brantley in 7th if he’said still there. Other option is undrained free agent.
He may be willing to come to Tampa as a FL guy. From reading the article provided by USFBUC, he is going to get off with a slap on the wrist at worst and doubtful any NFL action against him.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:55 pm
http://www.nfl.com/draft/2017/profiles/jeremy-mcnichols?id=2557977
McNichols is basically a slimmer, faster Doug, with better hands.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:56 pm
Blake
How could someone possibly cheer for not picking Dalvin Cook and go on to say you like the Jermey McNichols pick. It’s not possible. Mcnichols is another Peyton Barner, no unique qualities.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:56 pm
There is a very good chance Brantley goes undrafted USF. Keep that in mind.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:56 pm
To the best of Joe’s knowledge, the NFL allows teams to trade for players regardless of position, even running backs.
April 29th, 2017 at 2:57 pm
Licht should trade future late round picks to get Brantley
April 29th, 2017 at 2:58 pm
He could but if we draft him we don’t have to fight other teams for him

It’s about value my friend. O.J. was a better pick than Dalvin. Plain and simple.
Boise state has been producing pretty good running backs here lately, and Mcnichols is a good athlete, 4.49 speed, Same 40 time as Cook at the combine.

*********************
Licht is having a GREAT draft imho.
Justin Evans was ranked as the 42nd best player in the draft and ahead of Peppers, Budda, Marcus Williams and Marcus Maye all of whom were drafted before him!
Jeremy McNichols was ranked ahead of Mack, Connor, Gallman, Pumphrey, Hill, Williams and Cohen, all of whom were drafted ahead of him … pair those two with a possible starting OLB and backup MLB, a future starting WR and a generational talent at TE and Licht is killing this draft!
******************
April 29th, 2017 at 3:00 pm
Although, I’m fairly certain Hill would’ve been the pick if not for the damn Falcons…
April 29th, 2017 at 3:01 pm
There’s a very slim chance McNichols makes the 53 man roster, Bucs won’t keep more than 4 running backs on the roster.
April 29th, 2017 at 3:01 pm
Thanks for clearing that up Joe. I wasn’t sure if RBs were excluded or not…
April 29th, 2017 at 3:02 pm
***************
Over the past two seasons, McNichols ranks third in receptions, fourth in receiving yards, and first in receiving touchdowns among draft-eligible running backs. He also has the third-lowest drop rate (4.9 percent) among the 55 players with at least 20 catchable targets.
THAT IS ELITE LEVEL PRODUCTION!!!!!!
***************
April 29th, 2017 at 3:03 pm
*****************
jeremy mCnicholsa:
Workhorse who can handle a full load. Had 30-plus touches seven times in 25 games, including some games in the 40s.
Can be a contributor in the passing game, utilized as a receiver often in college.
Shows good hands, dropped just two of 107 catchable targets in three years.

April 29th, 2017 at 3:03 pm
Brantley ain’t falling that far fellas, sorry.
April 29th, 2017 at 3:03 pm
Blake, I agree OJ was the right pick but unless Justin Evans pans out at safety, we should’ve of been more agreessive to trade up ahead of the Vikings casue they just got a franchise running back.

@Tbbucs
Does Martin count as a roster spot while suspended? Cause Sims will be on IR by week 4 anyway lol
April 29th, 2017 at 3:07 pm
Damn ARGH that did get me pumped!
Better pass catching block than cook or Mixon?
Best RB to ever come out of Boise state?
Hope that’s true cuz that would be a serious steal!
April 29th, 2017 at 3:07 pm
Jeremy McNichols – Overview
Position: Running back
Height: 5’9″
Weight: 214 pounds
Combine Performance Data
40-yard dash: 4.49 seconds
Vertical jump: 35.5 inches
Broad jump: 10 feet, 1 inch
Three-cone drill: 6.93 seconds (fourth among running backs)
20-yard shuttle: 4.28 seconds (tied for fifth among running backs)
Strengths
• Fantastic downhill runner with solid pad level.
• Sees the field in front of him and anticipates where the space is.
• Constantly churns feet making him tough to bring down with arm tackles.
• Clicks into overdrive if he isn’t bottled up at the line of scrimmage.
• Tape and Combine data suggest above average lateral shiftiness.
• Versatile pass-catcher with reliable hands.
• Over 1,000 receiving yards and 11 touchdown receptions in college.
• Lined up in a variety of pro-style I-formation sets with the quarterback behind center.
• Able, willing and effective blocker in pass protection.
• Durable player who remained healthy despite fourth highest workload in nation.
Weaknesses
• Averaged just 2.1 yards after contact in college.
• More laterally twitchy than purely fast in a straight line.
• Tends to make panic runs to the sidelines if gaps close in between tackles.
• Dealt with fumbling issues over both seasons as primary running back.
• Needs to add lower body strength to be an effective power runner at next level.
• Too reliant on blocking pass rushers low.
NFL Comparison: Robert Turbin
April 29th, 2017 at 3:08 pm
Sure looks like a steal
April 29th, 2017 at 3:08 pm
Welcome to the RB by Committee Jeremy McNichols.
And that’s all he is going to be doing, sharing the load with the guys we have now, assuming he makes the final roster.
April 29th, 2017 at 3:09 pm
@joey Martin will be on the suspended list and won’t count against the roster until after he is done serving his suspension
April 29th, 2017 at 3:11 pm
Justin Evans is an okay pick. He’s a returner as well as safety.
I prefer a good tackler because of penalties, and he’s a hard hitter. But then again, Lynch got better at tackling after a few years.
April 29th, 2017 at 3:12 pm
Let’s move up for Brantley. Trade the 7th and next yrs 6th.
April 29th, 2017 at 3:13 pm
I would have taken Brantley the DT from Florida. The RB might be ok but I don’t think Martin is going anywhere. He has been good when healthy. Maybe we can trade this years 7 th along with next years 6th and grab Brantley. GO BUCS!
April 29th, 2017 at 3:14 pm
@@@@@@@@@@@
JEREMY McNICHOLS COMPARES EXTREMELY WELL TO BOTH DOUG MARTIN AND JAY AJAYI, TWO BOISE STATE RB’S WHO HAVE HAD SOME GREAT GAMES/YEARS IN THE NFL:
COLLEGE STATS FOR ALL 3:
McNichols: 3,205 rushing yards and 5.6 ypc + 44 rushing TD’s
Martin: 3,431 rushing yards and 5.6 ypc + 43 Rushing TD’s
Ajayi: 3,796 rushing yards and 5.6 ypc + 50 TD’S
* Each of the three backs averaged the exact same yards per carry and the stats are almost identical … and Ajayi and Martin are bad boys when they’re healthy and have their heads screwed on straight!
HOWEVER … McNICHOLSA IS A WAAAAAAY BETTER RECEIVER THAN BOTH OF THEM!!!!!!
McNichols: 103 catches for 1,089 yards and 11 TD’s receiving
Martin: 67 catches for 715 yards and 4 TD’s receiving
Ajayi: 73 catches for 771 yards and 5 TD’s receiving
****** I LOVE THE PICK!
April 29th, 2017 at 3:14 pm
Nice!
Defines “value pick.”
Best pass catching RB in the draft? Why do I suspect that’s important to the Bucs? 😉
This is a nice draft.
April 29th, 2017 at 3:14 pm
@NJ
I thought so. So McNichols will probly make the final roster cut
April 29th, 2017 at 3:14 pm

April 29th, 2017 at 3:14 pm
there goes Rodney Adams
April 29th, 2017 at 3:14 pm
Unless he has a terrible pre season lol
April 29th, 2017 at 3:16 pm
Yeah he’ll make the roster. Unless Barber out performs him badly, he’ll beat him out
April 29th, 2017 at 3:16 pm
That’s why I’m wondering – if we’ll make a play for Richard Sherman.
April 29th, 2017 at 3:17 pm
Hmm.
McNichols has played Wr.
Scored more TDs than any other back, for last two years.
Highlights on Wretched BSPN looked really impressive.
In a draft really deep in WRs and RBs, Licht may have found a gem of each one.
And he used late round picks to do it!
Now thats a talented GM!
Lets get’em in here, and Coach ’em up! Thats where the magic happens!
Now, if he could just find a DE gem, in the 7th round!
April 29th, 2017 at 3:18 pm
Nice work Capt. didn’t know that

Now we wait again – 65 picks and counting.

Blake_bucsfan…. Thank you for the links!. stuck at work , youtube blocked .. your links got me past Big Brother..lol! looks like a good fit for our offense
April 29th, 2017 at 3:28 pm
Im thinking they drafted McNichols to start!
His production stats are impressive.
He plays, while Martin serves his suspension.
If he Plays up to his potential, Martin- and his laying down ways-may be over.
And good tiddance!
April 29th, 2017 at 3:30 pm
Even tho Im not Ll that high on McNichols, jist having a new RB back their has me excited about this offense

I think Licht has improved this offence immensly.. no doubt
April 29th, 2017 at 3:39 pm
Y’all wanna focus on Evans missed tackles but that is something that can be corrected.
What can not be taught is the elite ability to cover as a Free Safety.
He was third in the nation among safeties in coverage. Never allowing a single completion more than 14 yards after September (the fourth game of the year).
The kid is much more than just a hard hitter.
April 29th, 2017 at 3:42 pm
Nut is all in on McNichols now. Love your excitement dude lol
April 29th, 2017 at 3:43 pm
BTW, I was sad we didn’t get Dalvin Cook in the second round but from all my research Jeremy McNichols is a far superior receiver when compared to Cook … he’s seen as a poor man’s David Johnson as he converted from wide receiver to running back and has mad skills!
Also … check the combine stats … McNichols BLOWS DALVIN COOK AWAY or ties him on EVERYTHING the two players did at the combine … EVERYTHING!
Weight: McNichols heavier than Cook by 4 pounds
Hand Size: McNichols hands are 3/4″ bigger even though he’s shorter … no wonder Dalvin fumbles more
40 Time: Both ran a 4.49
Vertical: McNichols has a 5″ higher vertical!
Broad Jump: McNichols has a 5″ longer broad jump!
3 Cone Drill: McNichols was .3 seconds faster!
Jeremy was better than Doug Martin at Boise and he is considered the 2nd best receiving RB in the entire draft, behind only Christian Mac … and we got him in the 5th round while Doug Martin cost us a 1st round pick … I am stoked about the McNichols pick!
Also, what I LOVE about the pick is that if he is on the field with both OJ and Brate at the line and Mike Evans and D-Jax on the outside, HOW DOES A DEFENSE STOP THAT? McNichols catches and runs routes like a WR … defenses are going to be scared if those 5 skill players are on the field at the same time!
I LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!!!!
April 29th, 2017 at 3:45 pm
Im totally excited for this offense…. Licht has done an outstanding job with this draft.
April 29th, 2017 at 3:47 pm
He won’t be carrying the load but he’ll be sharing the load. He’ll probably end up the 3rd or 4th back in the rotation.
April 29th, 2017 at 3:47 pm
Joeypoppems … I really am … i love the kid.
Seriously, everyone listen to his interview here … the kid is insanely competitive, legitimately feels he is better than Cook, Fournette, Foreman, etc., and doesn’t shy away from the David Johnson comparison … I want to see him lining up behind Jameis with Godzilla, Jax, Brate and OJ on the field and watch the fear in the defender’s eyes!
April 29th, 2017 at 3:48 pm
Follow the Licht. It’s a BOMB draft. Period.
April 29th, 2017 at 3:51 pm
Let’s just hope this reshuffled line can hold up, that’s the only thing that concerns me.

He’s a CB thats going to be a pain to see twice.
The fact he lasted so long is crazy to me.

PRBucFan …. I think you’re underestimating McNichols.
I think he’ll split carries with Quiz and Rodgers the first 3 weeks and then by week 4 with Martin and Quizz but by next season I think he’s either the man or splitting carries with Doug if Martin has a bounce back year this year and sticks around … and even if that happends Jeremy will be the 3rd down back and getting nearly all the catches to go with his split-carries … the kid is the real deal and everyone that knows him seems to feel that way … Terrel Davis was recently saying the same thing about the kid.
When we missed on Cook and Mixon in the 2nd I was bummed as I wanted a true 3-down back with great receiving skills but to think we got a guy who’s said to be a better receiver than even Mixon and far better than Cook with a mere FIFTH ROUND PICK … I am stoked!
April 29th, 2017 at 4:01 pm
I gotta be honest…I really don’t care what a player does at the combine. I’ve seen too many players do poorly there and be great in the NFL…and the opposite.
The tape shows it all. If a player can’t convince teams with tape, the combine should change nothing.
April 29th, 2017 at 4:03 pm
We needed depth and youth on the D line, could have had one of the top DT in the draft in the fifth round and we passed on him. Overall the draft isn’t a bad one but man missing out on Brantley late like that I think will be a mistake.
Also if the players the Browns took this year and last pan out they could have one of the best defensive lines in the NFL next season.
April 29th, 2017 at 4:05 pm
Koetter LOVES Sims as a receiving RB don’t forget about that lol.
Hes is an insane receiving back.
It’s going to interesting to see how it plays out.
April 29th, 2017 at 4:05 pm
I can see it now, Winston dumps the ball off to McNichols and he scampers his way for a TD. Go Bucs!!!
April 29th, 2017 at 4:05 pm
McNichols might be one of those players that we will be making excuses for in three years, assuming he makes the final roster. I’m not convinced he will.
He’s not the type of back this team needs.
April 29th, 2017 at 4:06 pm
Anyone think we stand pat with just our 7th Rd pick? What’s the next position
April 29th, 2017 at 4:07 pm
Kaya Rd 7?
April 29th, 2017 at 4:07 pm
Kaaya*
April 29th, 2017 at 4:08 pm
Hopefully Sweezy will work out because none of our backs will do well unless our oline gets better.
And still no true short yardage back.
April 29th, 2017 at 4:09 pm
Oh Bonzai McNichols better be making the final roster, if we cut him there needs to be a protest to fire Licht for picking a guy who gets cut over a guy comparable to Aaron Donald.
April 29th, 2017 at 4:10 pm
Bonzai, he is exactly the type of RB Koetter loves in his offenses however.
That much I will admit.
April 29th, 2017 at 4:11 pm
I think McNichols will be a decent RB.
April 29th, 2017 at 4:12 pm
lol are u kidding? Do u know how often 5th rounders end up not working out?
Licht has hit on so many picks that he will have to do a hell of a lot to get fired.
And if he was an Aaron Donald clone believe me he wouldn’t have lasted as long as he did.
April 29th, 2017 at 4:12 pm
Bonzai … you think we need a “buiser”? Deveon Smith probably won’t even get drafted … put Barber on the practice squad and sign him then …
April 29th, 2017 at 4:15 pm
We have backs that play his style already. It only works if you have a hard running, hard hitting RB to complement and lead block. There is a reason our running game sucks.
Koetter may like the style, but you need a great oline to rely on it without a hard hitter too.
We have neither.
April 29th, 2017 at 4:15 pm
Barber cannot go on the squad anymore.
April 29th, 2017 at 4:17 pm
Meanwhile a Panthers and Falcons are building big. Getting players we should have gotten.
April 29th, 2017 at 4:18 pm
Finally home! Got out of work a few hrs early…..was checking my phone on the pick though and Im glad we got a RB. Now to check him out.
April 29th, 2017 at 4:19 pm
PR Buc fan you realize I’m talking about Caleb Brantley right? The guy who slide to the fifth round over a minor infraction that he probably won’t be convicted of. Who prior to that incident was a end of the first top of the second round projection. That is who I’m talking about. One has to be daft to pass on that when there are only four DT on the roster – one of whom is at the end of his career and often injured and another nobody has ever heard of.
Again you make my point about a fifth rounder not working out and passing on a first or second round talent who fell to the fifth round. Thank you.
April 29th, 2017 at 4:19 pm
My point is apart from what you or I think.
Koetter and Licht feel like they have a great O-Line
And they also feel like they have all the RBs they need.
So everything else is a mute point.
April 29th, 2017 at 4:22 pm
Again – they feel like they have all the RBs they need but we pass on a top rated player at a position of need.
April 29th, 2017 at 4:23 pm
You realize how many players had character issues that didn’t drop to the 5th round?
Again, if he was that outstanding and that much of a cant miss prospect, he would have gone higher even with his “minor infraction”.
And AGAIN you sound ridiculous suggesting Licht should get fired for that lolol.
April 29th, 2017 at 4:27 pm
To pass at a position of clear need for a player that will likely share carries is dumb. Did we get some good players? Yes we did, but that pick would have been far better used on Brantley. Picking McNichols over Brantley is right up there with the trade up for a kicker. It should be questioned because it is not smart. The only way this pick is decent is if McNichols winds up being our starting RB this year and is the primary RB. Brantley is a projected starting 3 technique DT.
April 29th, 2017 at 4:28 pm
WR Isaiah Ward (Virginia Tech) is still there….had some notes on him and would take him with our 7th if there.
http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/isaiah-ford?id=2558071
April 29th, 2017 at 4:28 pm
PR you must not know of the player I am talking about to read up on him before you post anything else
April 29th, 2017 at 4:29 pm
hmm, in mod, the link I guess….
WR Isaiah Ward (Virginia Tech) is still there….had some notes on him and would take him with our 7th if there.
April 29th, 2017 at 4:31 pm
Lol, dont know what the filtered word was….anyways WR Isaiah Ward might be there with our 7th
April 29th, 2017 at 4:34 pm
@madmax the moderation filter is set to super sensitive since Cook was drafted. Be careful
April 29th, 2017 at 4:34 pm
Isaiah Ford, sorry….he was in my notes
April 29th, 2017 at 4:35 pm
lol, yeah its cool, I dont let it bother me.

April 29th, 2017 at 4:36 pm
CB or DL in the 7th? Any ideas on who to go after?
April 29th, 2017 at 4:38 pm
lol You assume wrong buddy. I know all about Florida’s Caleb Brantley.
But at this point its pointless continuing this discussion with you. I’ve said my piece and I’m not going in circles with you. And we can agree to disagree ahahaha.
April 29th, 2017 at 4:39 pm
I think we go OL or DL. They will prob give Smith another yr now that he’s moved back to CB
April 29th, 2017 at 4:40 pm
Here are just the first three most popular rankings sites I could think of regarding Brantley. Both walterfootball and PFF include Allen as their top ranked DT who the NFL.com projects as a 3-4 DE.
Walter football – fourth ranked DT
PFF – third ranked DT
NFL.com – second ranked DT
April 29th, 2017 at 4:40 pm
The Browns already said they may cut Brantley. They are still investigating the incident and if they don’t like what they see they will just cut him.
April 29th, 2017 at 4:41 pm
Look at those catches….especially the one at 1:53….i know he’s small but man, kid can catch! Lets get us some FORD!
April 29th, 2017 at 4:42 pm
Clearly you are far more knowledgeable about NFL prospects than people who do it for a living PR. I submit to your fantasy world of Caleb Brantley not being a top prospect when everyone else in the world disagrees with you. Come back and talk to me when you aren’t living in a fantasy world guy.
April 29th, 2017 at 4:44 pm
Nah NJ they snatched him up to trade him to somebody after the draft. The Browns management are proving to be smart about his draft business.
April 29th, 2017 at 4:44 pm
Ford is good. Also to consider Noah Brown OSU
April 29th, 2017 at 4:46 pm
Noah Brown has got some size….checking him out.
April 29th, 2017 at 4:47 pm
Sashi Already said he will be cut if they find something they don’t like. Not sure you drive up trade value that way
April 29th, 2017 at 4:47 pm
I really don’t think we will draft another wr. DL or OL
April 29th, 2017 at 4:47 pm
Sold me Max
April 29th, 2017 at 4:47 pm
Brown is also really young for the draft
April 29th, 2017 at 4:48 pm
Still F#CK the Failclowns for stealing Brian Hill. Greedy Bltches
April 29th, 2017 at 4:51 pm
Ford led the ACC in receiving yards in 2016. How is this kid still available?
April 29th, 2017 at 4:55 pm
Running in the mid 4.6’s didnt help Ford much
April 29th, 2017 at 4:58 pm
Is Jaylen Myrick still available? He could probably compete for the nickel spot
April 29th, 2017 at 4:58 pm
Oh ok Joey…but still, theres a gewm in the 7th if we can get him….I mean he can catch!! I know we have Godwin, theres our speedster with DJax….a late rounder on Ford should be a no brainer….but what do I know….I dont get paid for this lol.
April 29th, 2017 at 4:58 pm
*gem
April 29th, 2017 at 5:00 pm
I just don’t see us going position player here. I see OL or DL. Maybe a CB if one is there we didn’t expect
April 29th, 2017 at 5:03 pm
Joey
I would LOVE Jaylon Myrick
April 29th, 2017 at 5:05 pm
I think he is still available. I would like to see them go DB or pass rusher. There are some pass rushers that are still available that could make the team.
April 29th, 2017 at 5:06 pm
Ford’s QB went down with a broken collar bone and still lead the ACC in receiving in 2015.
“Class (size): Junior (6-2, 190) It’s a tribute to Ford that he lost his starting quarterback, Michael Brewer, for a large chunk of last season due to a broken collarbone, and still managed to lead the entire ACC in receiving yards (1,164) and receiving touchdowns (11). Expect a habit of catching …”
April 29th, 2017 at 5:07 pm
Myrick ran a 4.28 40, wow! I like him too.
April 29th, 2017 at 5:10 pm
Harbaugh just said on NFL NETWORK … “speak softly and carry a big stick” pffffff COME ON MAN?!?
April 29th, 2017 at 5:12 pm
Ford probably wont make it past the Titans at the end of this round.
April 29th, 2017 at 5:17 pm
Pretty sure USFBUC is 12
April 29th, 2017 at 5:20 pm
well as long as he didn’t carry …carry a big m****** stick! Teddy Roosevelt didn’t say it that way at least it didn’t make it in the history books!
April 29th, 2017 at 5:22 pm
I bet they quote him tho, and Dirk didn’t get any mentions for his locker room speech
April 29th, 2017 at 5:22 pm
Wh is Dupree still available?
April 29th, 2017 at 5:22 pm
Just read that UF coaches told NFL teams to stay away from Caleb Brantley.
April 29th, 2017 at 5:23 pm
lol that lions kid thought he was gonna get a cheer from “Lions Nation” poor kid hahahaha
April 29th, 2017 at 5:24 pm
I just noticed Malachi Dupre was still available. Im not sure why either.
April 29th, 2017 at 5:25 pm
If the Titans are going WR, Dupre is a better pick than Ford
April 29th, 2017 at 5:27 pm
I’d rather have Noah Brown than Dupree
April 29th, 2017 at 5:29 pm
I don’t think we should go wr again. Get a developmental DL or OL or jaylon myrick. We know Licht wants speed and myrick has speed to burn. He could play nickel/ safety
April 29th, 2017 at 5:29 pm
I agree Goat
April 29th, 2017 at 5:34 pm
Jeez the cowgirls have picked 4 DBs WTF
April 29th, 2017 at 5:34 pm
We just traded up I think
April 29th, 2017 at 5:35 pm
Dupre is listed by several to be a 2-3 rd prospect. I can’t find anything to explain such a fall. 7th round players are not likely to make a team, so why not risk a pick?
April 29th, 2017 at 5:35 pm
Yeah we did.
April 29th, 2017 at 5:36 pm
Myrick is gone
April 29th, 2017 at 5:36 pm
Damn there goes Myrick. Rip the dream
April 29th, 2017 at 5:36 pm
Stevie maybe?
April 29th, 2017 at 5:37 pm
yes we traded, this is it
April 29th, 2017 at 5:37 pm
We did trade up. I wonder who for
April 29th, 2017 at 5:37 pm
Yeah! Traded up!!!! Ford please!
April 29th, 2017 at 5:37 pm
Wonder what we gave up.
April 29th, 2017 at 5:38 pm
DT Stevie!
April 29th, 2017 at 5:38 pm
It was Stevie T. Good call Real Drew
April 29th, 2017 at 5:38 pm
I guessed it!!
April 29th, 2017 at 5:38 pm
Got a new DT
April 29th, 2017 at 5:38 pm
Stevie!
April 29th, 2017 at 5:39 pm
Well, I guessed the first and the last one right. Mic drop, lol.
April 29th, 2017 at 5:39 pm
He can be a good 34 NT….
April 29th, 2017 at 5:41 pm
Probably gave up next years sixth rounder.
April 29th, 2017 at 5:41 pm
Looks like a 3-4 NT – hard to move, not much of a pass rusher
April 29th, 2017 at 5:41 pm
YESSSSSS Tu”ikolovatu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In Litch we trust
Great draft
April 29th, 2017 at 5:43 pm
Any find what we traded
April 29th, 2017 at 5:43 pm
You guys need to review the background story on our new NT. The guy is the real deal. Great story, great player. We now have our NT replacement for Baker in 2-3 years.
I am loving this draft.
April 29th, 2017 at 5:45 pm
This is going to be a bomb ass draft! Love it!
April 29th, 2017 at 5:46 pm
Armando SalgueroVerified account @ArmandoSalguero 10m10 minutes ago
Dolphins just picked up Tampa’s seventh rounder in 2018 plus Tampa’s lower seventh rounder this year (237 overall).
April 29th, 2017 at 5:55 pm
@NJ – the Browns have been keeping an eye on his case from what I have read. They already have a most probable outcome for the case based on previous cases so they know little to nothing will come out of it. The Browns are stacked at DT already so why draft another guy? Because he was an extreme value and they will either be able to trade him or one of their other DT for a future pick.
Just kee an eye on it, the Browns are doing their best Warren Buffet take on drafting and trading
April 29th, 2017 at 5:59 pm
@ lurker
Good find. I’m cool with only giving up a 7th next year. Was pissed when we got Myrick stolen 1 pick b4 us just like Hill. Lol
April 29th, 2017 at 6:05 pm
I’m very cool giving up next year’s 7th.
Great draft!
April 29th, 2017 at 6:12 pm
2018 nfl draft – Bucs will address DL, OL and CB early.
RB, S and WR in later rounds.
April 29th, 2017 at 6:23 pm
Didn’t realize Stevie will be 26 at the start of the season
April 29th, 2017 at 6:42 pm
This was a great draft. Future LB, NT, RB…
Now AND future TE, FS, WR!
Should be another Grand Slam!
April 29th, 2017 at 6:46 pm
Chad Kelly, Mr. Irrelevant….very fitting! HAHAHAHA. Knew of him a little here around Clemson and Gville.
April 29th, 2017 at 7:05 pm
@USF I think your understanding or Warren Buffett and equity trading is flawed. You don’t buy an equity, publicly state you’re willing to throw it away for nothing then expect to get anything of value back. There are many examples where teams took his approach. Two examples that impact Buc players are Revis when we cut him and DJax when Philly cut him.
April 30th, 2017 at 12:22 am
The reason you don’t draft Brantley is not just because he very likely knocked out a woman in a bar, but also because he’s an idiot. Two weeks before you get drafted and see more money than most see in a lifetime and with the knowledge of what’s going on with Mixon and you do this! You Caleb, are the definition of stupid. Which means he likely can’t be trusted to act like a professional and is taking a spot from someone that will.
Bad pick by the Browns. Nobody needs that headache.
April 30th, 2017 at 1:12 am
Right Jaboo? But apparently Licht is the idiot and should be fired for not taking him lolol.
Like I told this genius, if he were that much of a can’t miss (that entails all including character), he would have been scooped up much sooner.
April 30th, 2017 at 1:13 am
He can pull up all the rankings he wants on his man crush, but it doesn’t change that they meant nothing in the end.
April 30th, 2017 at 1:14 am
And what part of agree to disagree was so hard to comprehend? Lol move on buddy.
