  1. Mike Evans GOAT Says:

Can’t grade a draft 10 minutes after it’s over. McWeapon could be a steal, we hope OJ is as advertised, Evans could be a starter. We just don’t know until they get on the field. I am happy with the draft besides not getting Brian Hill tho

  2. Macout247 Says:

lol those 4 noles fans who gave Cs and Ds

  3. Buc1987 Says:

    C+

  4. Mike Evans GOAT Says:

I’m a huge noles fan. So let’s try not to point fingers here at who are the unreasonable fans in Tampa

  5. Joeypoppems Says:

On paper it seems like a solid draft. I voted a B for now. If Evans and Beckwith become starters and McNichols can contribute in the run game, I could bump it up a bit.

  6. CarolinaBucFan Says:

You surround your franchise QB with multiple targets, one who can also in line block for you, get a ballhawking safety (I’m on the fence about that one), get a line backer whose strength is supposedly stopping the run (don’t know too much about him), and get depth at RB and DT. All in all o give it an ‘A’
Obviously we have to wait to see them on the field though

  7. Buc1987 Says:

Mike Evans GOAT…lol I clicked out and came back on after reading his post.

Yo I voted C and I’m a YUUUUGE Noles fan. Can’t see how wanting the Bucs to draft Cook makes you a Nole homer. Never understood that. I was called a Nole homer repeatedly for wanting Jameis. My answer : It has NOTHING to do with it and everything to do with what’s best for our team. Most Noles including NOS will say the same thing.

Sure I wanted Cook until he was gone to Minny. Then I wanted the next available rb and in a hurry too. Didn’t get that. I got the bottom of the barrel.

  8. Trubucfan22 Says:

Excellent job! Got a ton of good value.

OJ – top 10 projection. Drafted at 19
Evans – fills a need drafted where he should be.
RGodwin- second round projection, drafted in the third.
Beckwith- second round talent taken with the final pick in the third.
McNic – selected where he should be
    Steve- 5th round projection.

We got a lot of good value and filled some needs and depth. Great job Jason. And the best part was not wasting a pick on Dalvin Cook, that bust will be out of the league in 3 years.

  9. BucsQcCity Says:

Round 2-3 were mind boggling. I would have been much more ok if we signed AP but I trust Licht so we’ll roll with that

  10. Buc1987 Says:

    Trubucfan22 …Cook’s a bust and Doug Martin’s your hero.

    Go figure.

  11. Blake_bucsfan Says:

I give it a B+ just because the O.J. and GodWin picks were so good. Evans, Beckwith, and McNichols have starter potential.

Just sucks that the Failclowns went full D!ck and drafted Brian Hill just to keep him from us.

  12. Trubucfan22 Says:

    Umadfsuhomer?

  13. Buc1987 Says:

Nope. Mad they didn’t draft a RB and it will show this season.

  14. Gencoimports Says:

Evans was a bit of a reach but love the value with pretty much every other pick. I give it an A, but as others have said we won’t really know for a while.

  15. stevek Says:

    “A”

    OJ Howard at 19!

Evans fills a need, could become a good player for us.

Godwin seems like a great compliment to our receiving group.

Beckwith will be a good run stopper, and if not hurt he would have been taken earlier.

McNichols, not sure yet about this pick. I hope he can emerge into our starting RB. It would be great to part ways with Martin, and possibly put that seven million dollar cap hit towards another cap casualty?

Stevie- Great pick! Love that he lived in a van down by the river. He brings the beef, and will tire out O-Linemen having to try and push him around.

Licht did work this draft, hat tip to the GM. I am damn happy with our draft. OJ Howard in the 1st still hasn’t sank in. I can’t wait to see this offense in the 3rd preseason game. We are going to blow up.

Howard is all that and then some. I like the Godwin pick too. And, the DT and the end of the draft was awesome.

  16. Tampa Tony Says:

All the Nole fans masquerading as Bucs fan will vote low since their over used undersized back didn’t get drafted

Weapons for Winston mission accomplished how can you grade the draft low after that?

  17. Blake_bucsfan Says:

The only legit Gripe I can make, is not taking Sameje Perine in 3 and hoping for Beckwith to fall to 4.

But I really like Beckwith’s tape, and could end up being a really solid player for us.

  18. Blake_bucsfan Says:

scratch that, then we wouldn’t have gotten Godwin. I take it back.

  19. NJBucsFan Says:

They are complaining real bad about the Eagles not taking OJ Howard.

  20. Buccfan37 Says:

I gave the Bucs an A, it’s catching up with the B.

  21. Ghostofschiano Says:

I voted B. B- if it was available. After pre season and a few games i would like to update my vote.

  22. Brandon Says:

Other than Howard and Godwin, not sure any of the other players will ever make the team. McNichols might be okay…. but the rest of these guys…. just terrible. Howard pick is an A+ Top five talent, great value. Godwin, A. Second round talent, also a great value. McNichols, B. Decent player, good value for where he was chosen.

Evans is perhaps the worst tackling safety I’ve ever seen. He’s pretty good against the pass, very intelligent and instinctive as well as being athletic enough to make plays…. tackling…. he throws himself at the ball carrier’s feet constantly. H won’t even consider putting a shoulder or hat on another player unless that player’s back is to him, otherwise he dives at his feet or hops on his back and takes a ride. The thought of him trying to tackle McCaffrey and Samuel, Julio Jones and Freeman, any Saint… makes me nauseous. You guys thought Tandy whiffing on Austin was bad? Evans did that more than four times against both Tennessee and UCLA this past year. I challenge anybody that disagrees to watch his horrific tape. I grade this pick a D. Can’t help against the pass if you can’t make a tackle.

Beckwith? Trading up for a two down LB coming off an ACL injury? The guy doesn’t cover, he didn’t make splash plays. Yeah, he made tackles but was limited athletically BEFORE he tore up his knee. Another D. He’s slow and probably got slower, he probably can’t even help on special teams.

And now this DT? 26 year old rookie…. fattest player at the Combine at 31.4% bodyfat and heaviest DT at the Combine… probably the slowest too. He is what he is at 26. Don’t think this is a big deal? Think again. Danny Shelton (27), Peria Jeria (25), Gaines Adams (24), and numerous other linemen have learned that being an overaged and dominant collegiate player is absolutely not an indicator of success in the NFL. As a matter of fact, it almost never happens. How badly can one screw up a 7th round pick? Try picking a guy that is so fat that he can’t possibly have the stamina to ever play meaningful snaps or that is already physically mature and proved to be a little better than a bunch of 20 year olds. Another D.

So basically, we completely wasted the second 3rd round pick and the 7th rounder. Two guys that won’t even make the game day roster and then there’s Evans… yeah, he’ll make the team, he might even play, but until/unless he actually shows that he can tackle better than my nearly 70 year old mother, he has no business being on an NFL field. Licht seems to be getting worse with his drafting. Three players that at first glance look to possibly make the team and make it better, three others that don’t have a chance.

  23. Fsuking Says:

Bad. Should have traded up for Dalvin Cook to go for the Dynasty! Also should have traded our 7th rounder to move up and get big Rod Johnson, a tremendous potential replacement for Dotson who just needs time

  24. Fsuking Says:

Could have gone for Buddha Baker too

  25. Buc1987 Says:

“Licht seems to be getting worse with his drafting. Three players that at first glance look to possibly make the team and make it better, three others that don’t have a chance.”

Brandon…I thought that was par for the course. Oh well must not be paying attention.

  26. Buc1987 Says:

    Fsuking Says:

“Could have gone for Buddha Baker too”

But he’s not a Nole and apparently us Noles fans only wanted Cook to play for the Bucs cause he was a Nole. Didn’t you know that?

  27. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    C
And I’m not a Noles fan.

Passed on too many more talented players outside of Howard and Godwin.

For example, I wanted a safety in the second, but passing on Jordan Willis??? Insane. Would have finally made the dline elite.

  28. Mike Evans GOAT Says:

Dirk totally just referenced how hurt they were when the failclowns took Brian Hill right in front of them. I knew he should have been a buc. I’m sick, F#CK THE FAILCLOWNS

  29. Buc1987 Says:

In Cook’s defense …in a draft this deep with all the talent and QB’s taken in the first he easily could have been taken in first as well. Cause the QB’s are garbage and reaching. He was taken early in the 2nd. Easily could have been a 1st as teams drafted for need.

  30. LakeLandBuc Says:

I see 6 good players from this draft and maybe 5 that will make an immediate impact. We drafted a 3 down TE with amazing speed, who can stretch the field. We drafted a FS who can cover and hit. We drafted an ILB/OLB who is excellent against the run and have coverage abilities. We drafted a speedy WR who runs good routes and has dependable hands. We drafted a RB who can block, catch the ball out of the backfield and has good speed and vision. We drafted a run-stuffing 330 LB NT, who can help us against the run. A

  31. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    btw 1987…

THEY TRADE BACK INTO THAT ROUND!

You know how close I came to missing it because of you? Lol

  32. Mike Evans GOAT Says:

The McWeapon pick is growing on me. Think about this, The guy had OVER 50 TDs in 2 years. That’s crazy. He is what Doug should be. And in another draft would have gone much higher. He was a wr in high school and 1 year in college, he can catch the ball and is an excellent pass blocker.

  33. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    Mike Evans GOAT

It was their fault for waiting so log and trading up in the first place.

  34. Mike Evans GOAT Says:

That is the only pick I don’t like. Beckwith was a head scratcher. Could have filled other needs, but we all remember Kwon was a head scratcher as well. We were on here talking about Bruce carter being our MLB and maybe Kwon at safety. Well that turned out for the best. Brian Hill should have been there. The failclowns only took him to spite us. They don’t need a rb and I’m positive we were targeting him. F#CK THE FAILCLOWNS

  35. LakeLandBuc Says:

O.J.Howard, Justin Evans and Kendall Beckwith should be 1st year starters. Chris Godwin should get a lot of playing time as the 3rd WR. Jeremy McNichols should be the 3rd RB behind Doug and Quizz early. Stevie Tuikolovatu should get playing time as our primary run-stuffer.

  36. Cobraboy Says:

Solid draft top to bottom, and we even got Stevie @7 (what an interesting guy he is: http://www.latimes.com/sports/usc/la-sp-usc-tuiklovatu-car-20160922-snap-story.html )

Howard was the steal of the draft, IMO, a top 5 talent, the best TE to come out of college in many, many years, and a guy that has All-Pro written all over.

Evans is a serious DB thumper and cover guy. I have seen him considered the 2-4th best S in the draft. A solid pick.

Godwin is as solid a WR as was available, speed, size, athletic ability, great production at a top program. I wanted him pre-draft.

Beckwith, assuming recovered from his knee, is your new Sam, another thumper close to the LOS, the MLB back-up and a ST guy. The guy was a top ILB in the best conference in football.

McNicholes has hands equal to Sims and is a serious RB as well. Very great value pick, and could mean that Sims is expendable…or converted to WR.

Stevie T? Care to move him off the LOS? Good luck. I always liked Pacific Islander DL. And this guy is a really interesting character. However, I doubt you’ll see him covering kicks but WILL be on the FG unit.

This draft is an A-/B+ at first glance, but we ‘ll have to wait until TC to begin to evaluate.

But best of all? No more draft hype baloney. YAY!

  37. Steven007 Says:

Solid draft on paper. Filled most obvious holes though not necessarily with the players I would have chosen. That said, I trust Jason Licht to know this process for better then me even though I’m an informed fan. Most backseat GM’s crack me up. What will be interesting will be the undrafted free agent process which should be going on right now. With Hard Knocks in our Hip Pocket I think that would be a great selling point for most of the free agents. More exposure Etc. I anticipate a good haul there.

  38. LakeLandBuc Says:

Charles Sims and Peyton Barber..I don’t know.

  39. Mike Evans GOAT Says:

These dumb@ss failclowns fans think Hill will be their full back. Uneducated ungrateful F#cks

  40. Waly Says:

Would have graded higher if they hadn’t traded up for a linebacker with a broken wheel.

  41. Kevin Says:

At least the majority have common sense around here!!!

  42. MadMax Says:

    Solid A!

  43. Blake_bucsfan Says:

All those doubting the Beckwith pick, i was against it at first too, but he has really good tape. And he will be back to 100 percent by July, as per Jason Licht.

I’m all for grabbing physical hitters who will help set the tone and make the stadium erupt.

The Patriots have won a couple superbowl games because they broke teams spirits with a nonstop onslaught of punishing blows.

Licht also said that Beckwith has experience rushing the passer off the LOS. With Darryl Smith retiring, that position did need to be addressed. We lost the Dallas and 2nd Saints game because we couldn’t stop the run. Evans, Beckwith, and Stevie will help prevent games like that from happening again.

  44. SoCal Bucs fan Says:

McNichols play reminds me of Arian Foster. Anyone else see that? Maybe not a first year star, but has a lot of potential.

OJ was an absolute steal and Godwin looks like the reincarnation of Marvin Harrison.

Defensive picks will be a wait and see…

  45. $acbuc$ Says:

I give JAson A C+ because he was trying to get a RB in ever round. Look at my logic. Idc if you agree or not.
2nd rd We missed Dalvin and Mixon panicked and pick Justin Evans.
3rd traded up and the Steelers did too and got our RB James Conner.
No 4th which I think we should of stayed put and our players would of came to us.
5th rd waiting on Brian Hill and the DIRTY Turds got him a few picks in front of us so we settle for Jeremy McNichols.
No 6 rd pick ticked me off it was so much talent still coming off the board.
7th rd I’m just happy to see us draft somebody who know what the bottom feels like. I want Stevie to succeed overall. We thick up front now.

I just thought of a hellava idea joes. We can make a ARMY TANK package called Rhino! Put Baker at DE because he can play that position. Put Stevie and Siliga at DT and NT. Gerald on the other end and nobody can power us up the gut. Ayers can play LB like his earlier Denver Days ala Lavon Kirkland. Noah would be my weakside LB and Jack would be strong side Ayers at the Mike. That’s scary territory for any RB in the league.

  46. Mojiska Says:

2 day 1 starters in howard and evans (i was high on evans for a long time, i felt he was best safety behind hooker and adams)

2 eventual starters in godwin and the lsu backer.

1 solid rotational guy in that dt.

1 meh pick with the rb.

    Im happy overall!!!

  47. tdtb2015 Says:

    Solid A

Solid and balanced draft. 3 offense and 3 defense including returners!!!!

    Great Job Licht!!!!

    Go Bucs!!!

Hard Knocks should be elated with the rookie possibilities…I think Stevie will be focused on.

The old Bucs no longer exist! Fire Them Cannons!!!!!!!!!

  48. LakeLandBuc Says:

Kendall Beckwith will be ready by Training Camp. He had 91 tackles when he got hurt in November in only 9 games. He had 252 Tackles, 23 TFL during the past 3 seasons starting at ILB with Kwon Alexander, Deion Jones and Duke Riley at OLB. He was 1st team All-SEC in 2016, even though he didn’t finish the season. Also Just Evans was 1st team All-SEC. I believe these two will be our best picks from this draft.

  49. LakeLandBuc Says:

    *Justin Evans*

  50. Casual Observer Says:

Excellent draft. Licht knows what he’s doing. TC will be fun.

  51. Jeagan1999 Says:

Solid B! Howard is an A+! The others have potential. Well done GM Licht and Coach Koetter!

  52. $acbuc$ Says:

Look at the 3 player that went before our 7th rounder. We could of used all 3.

  53. Yusef Says:

This may not have been a flashy draft with the exception for OJ Howard, but in my opinion, This was a……………..
Awesome Draft! Licht knows what he’s doing..Very Balanced Draft for us this year, Defense and Offense were Addressed! Well Played Licht! Well Played

Three players that at first glance look to possibly make the team and make it better, three others that don’t have a chance.

    Put the pipe down broski.

I think you mean Three players that are virtual locks to make the team and make it better, and three others that have a good chance.

    I give it a B

  55. NJBucsFan Says:

Time for draft 2.0 – UFDA season

  56. Dom is gone Says:

Decent draft BUT lack of a running game and pass rush is what killed us down the stretch last year. Didn’t address either?

  57. JabooBuc Says:

Solid A. I believe at least 5 of the 6 will make the team with a strong possibility that aa 6 will make it.

I predict that at least 4 will evolve into starters this year. Howard and Beckwith (assuming he’s available) are likely immediate starters. Godwin and Evans are likely immediate special team contributors and quality depth at their positions early on. Godwin will be used in certain sets and will get touches. Evans will fill in at Safety and could play some Nickel.

McNichols is a bit of a wild card as I believe they are not done at RB. I believe of all the picks, he is least likely to make the team or be a big contributor. However, he could evolve into a 3rd down back and be used in spots this year.

Stevie T also has his work cut out for him which is true of every 7th round pick. However, we did lose Spence and he might fill that void.

If it plays out this way, not sure how how you can’t view this draft as a big success. As always, we shall see.

  58. GZilla007 Says:

A lot of you guys are quick to bash the Dougernaut. The two good seasons he had, weren’t just good … they were great. He almost had the rushing title in his rookie year, got injured the next couple of years and then almost had the rushing title again the year before. The only person who kept him from getting the rushing title both times was AP. Why is everybody so quick to give up on him in his prime? Last year, he didn’t rush well but any fool could see the O-Line couldn’t block worth a damn last year. It seemed like almost every run, he was avoiding tacklers in the backfield as soon as he got the ball. Teams knew he was getting the rock and ganged up on the run.

Let’s see how many teams gang up on the run this year with O.J., D-Jax and Mike Evans lining up with the Dougernaut. If healthy, he will break the franchise running record this year or the next.

  59. NJBucsFan Says:

Hey Joes are you going to open a UFDA open thread? It would be fun for us to play GM and Adam Sheafter for a little bit

  60. Buccaneer Bonzai Says:

    Let’s be completely honest here.

Coach Koetter maintains fair competition, and neither he nor Licht will keep a player that doesn’t earn their spot.

That’s one of the things we like about them. No one is a total lock to make this team if they don’t earn their spot, be them rookies or veterans. Rest assured, if Howard turns out to be an obvious bust (highly unlikey), he won’t make the team. If our New ILB/OLB is better than Kwon (highly unlikely), he will take Kwon’s job (though in that case, Kwon would probably change positions).

Each of these draft picks will have to earn their spot. Because of that, we can feel assured Coach Koetter and Licht will choose right.

So even if we are currently unsure of a y picks, in the end, if they make the team we’ll k ow they deserve it.

  61. Stpetebucsfan Says:

I really liked this draft but have but one fear. I hope the curse of the second round hasn’t struck again.

I also hope we haven’t created a Mark Barron Luke Kuechely like comparison.

I hope Evans turns out to be the next Honey Badger but the pressure is on him.

This team has been looking for DE’s forever. We could have had DeMarcus Walker!
    2016 HONORS

    Consensus All-American
First Team All-ACC (Media & Coaches)
ACC Defensive Player of the Year
    Hendrick’s Award Finalist
    Lombardi Award Semifinalist

One of the top defenders in Florida State history, finishing the season with 68 tackles, 21.5 tackles for loss, 16 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries and a blocked extra point

Time will tell and as a Buc fan of course I’ll be rooting for Evans but man…16 sacks!!!! I hope we don’t regret that.

  62. GZilla007 Says:

As far as our seventh round pick goes, 31% body fat is a lot … but does anybody remember a player called Hlota Nata? That slab of beef was drafted weighing 340 lbs! I never thought he would turn into a HOF player and neither did anybody else reading this right now! I’m not saying that our fatty we drafted is going to have Nata’s success but I’m not gonna write him off, after hearing that he eats double teams like he does cheeseburgers and he ragdolls and embarrasses O-linemen!

Evans had to tackle better but he’s at least got the heart to tackle. And to the dude who wrote that he throws yourself at the feet of big guys, you must’ve never played some serious football. It is foolish to go heads up with somebody who’s bigger than you and SEES YOU COMING. We are taught to take the legs out from big men.

  63. DB55 Says:

    A+
For a 6-10 team. At least those Cubans taste yummy in the luxury suites.

  64. Dom is gone Says:

St Pete…. agree think they panicked with the run on safties. Walker should have been the pick. Elite pass rusher what it help this team a lot more than a safety

  65. 98bucsfan Says:

To be honest, we got 2 steals this draft. Almost everyone was sold Howard wouldn’t make it to us at 19 and a lot of analysts didn’t think Godwin would make it out of the second round. I’ve liked Evans since I saw his tape and know he isn’t fully prepared for the NFL but love his willingness to hit. Also I like the linebacker pick and if recovery goes well, he could contribute a lot! Looking like a great draft on paper but we will see

  66. 95bucsfan Says:

Great draft just hope Doug Martin can stay on right track and the receiving core is going to be deadly go bucs

  67. MadMax Says:

Bonzai, Ive got a feeling Beckwith could eventually be our MLB in a year or two and Kwon takes over for LVD….Eyes are on you Mr. David.

  68. Eric Says:

Other than Howard very mediocre IMO.

But if Howard becomes a perennial all pro that makes it a success.

  69. JimmyJack Says:

The dreamers are heart broken and its hilarous. Championship teams arent built with fantasy highlight players. If you honestly think RB was a bigger need then getting a tonesetter on D youre clueless.

Some fans dont even realize how big a need TE is to make ouf offense work. If you dreamers had your way the team would be filled with a bunch of 4.2 40 guys and a bunch of spineless scubs doing the dirty work.

Blocking and tackling is how championship teams are built. It why Green Bay is one and done every year while a guy like Eldeman scores game wining Super Bowl TDs.

  70. Buc1987 Says:

    JimmyJack Says:

“The dreamers are heart broken and its hilarous.”
“If you honestly think RB was a bigger need then getting a tonesetter on D youre clueless. ”

What “tonesetter” did they get on D?

  71. 407BucLovinHomie Says:

    @ Mike Evans goat-
The hell ya can’t… I did it 10 SECONDS after the last pick. And it’s real simple ..

    NO HELP FOR THE O-LINE…..

    EPIC FAIL
HOWEVER- I am glad to welcome the new players and hope they can get tough and gritty and gel and whoop azzzzz every week.
Just because I feel like it’s a D grade and an epic fail does not mean it can’t work out!
    GO BUCS!
    PS….CANY WAIT FOR “HARD KNOCKS”!!!!!

  72. Buc1987 Says:

StPete….Walker on one side…Noah on the other…GMC and Baker in the middle and having Ayers in rotation. Oh boy.

Never mind. I’m with you…I still stand pat at C+ though. Howard and Godwin make up for a lot for me as I wanted a heavy O draft.

Lost the chance for some REALLY solid rb’s though too. C+ and I’m teetering.

  73. JabooBuc Says:

407- your post is an EPIC FAIL! A TE, especially one like Howard, is an extension of the OLine. In addition, they now have a healthy Sweezy. Passing game and running game will improve.

  74. PRBucFan Says:

    B+ Maybe A-

  75. PRBucFan Says:

Apparently many experts are high on McNichols.

We may have gotten a stud.

And enough about Cook already, its done, move on.

  76. JimmyJack Says:

87-I been hearing the safety they picked is known for making punishing hits. IMO a big hit has more impact on a game then speed. Don’t know much about the LB they picked but we will see. And that big ole 340lb linemen they got was surely selected for his potential to be a physically opposing nasty as a monster on the field.

  77. PRBucFan Says:

The safety is a big hitter but is known more for his coverage skills.

Ranked third best safety in the nation last year in terms of coverage.

  78. JameisDungy Says:

Either the plan is for Doug Martin to rebound or they really plan on giving the entire offense over to Jameis.

Lets hope Jameis is ready to roll.

  79. LakeLandBuc Says:

I warned them that they would be disappointed when Jason Licht pass on Dalvin Cook.

  80. Hawaiian Buc Says:

Grading a draft after it happened is a huge LOL. These guys haven’t even had rookie minicamp and people are grading it? I just don’t get it. Never have and never will. Every single year there are can’t miss picks that miss, and then there are picks that the fans think are terrible and they end up being superstars.

  81. Rod Munch Says:

I really liked the draft, but the results might not be immediately obvious since probably the two hardest positions for a rookie are TE and S – the top two picks. So don’t panic if the two aren’t starters day one – and if they are starters day one then most likely this is an easy A.

  82. Mike Johnson Says:

OVERALL? Solid C or B-. for us Yes I would have takenor traded up to take Mixon. Yes, he;s got issues. But he’s got that “IT’ factor. IF..he can keep his head on straight? Look for Barry Sanders type moves and beyond. Guy got them beastly type football qualities. You heard it here..firstf

To the FSU homers, if we get big production from NcNichols, does it offset the but hurt from Cook not drsfted? Did you watch his tape? A rb with 4.4 speed? Doesn’t dance, makes you miss…scores tds? It was a deep draft for rbs, this guy actually had a 3-4th round grade. I agree about the lb and safety, but Howard ,Godwin ,and McNichols,we’ve added some speed , which we have sorely lacked.

I say A because the defense got a lot more flexible. Drafting the LB and DT sets us up to run a bunch of 3-4 fronts, giving Kwon and Lavonte their shots at rushing the passer. Plus, Howard is an offense changer assuming he isn’t an epic bust. He will make the oline and WRs better. Plus, if Winston can make Cam Brate look like an All-Pro (at times), imagine what he can do with someone that has tremendous athleticism.

Since we won’t know the actual results for several years, I give credit to Licht and his scouts for finding pieces to add to the roster that will afford for a lot more flexibility on defense and depth on offense. No offensive line help confuses me, but I’m also not paid to know football, so in Licht I trust.

Dang, these NFC South opponents are irking me bigtime. Now I’m confused as who to hate most. Call it a tie.
