“Favorite Coach Ever!”
April 30th, 2017If you think the Stick Carriers are fired up for winning Bucs coach Dirk Koetter, you should see the players.
One in particular is middle linebacker Kwon Alexander.
Yesterday at his post-draft press conference, Koetter was asked how he wanted his team thought of. He quickly replied “Badass.”
Well, Paul Ryan of WFLA-TV Channel 8 recorded the press conference and Twittered out the clip of Koetter’s quip. This caught the eyes of Alexander, who replied to Ryan’s post with the following comment:
@Showtime17Kwon: Favorite coach ever!
And Kwon is hardly the only one to say this. Last year in a postgame locker room celebration, America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston, gave Koetter a game ball for his first NFL win as a head coach. Jameis remarked that Koetter was the best coach he ever had.
The Bucs are building something here folks. Might just be a fun ride.

Love this coach. He gets what it takes to win. No BS. I’m proud to be part of the new Buccaneers BMFS (Big M F Sticks) carrying team
April 30th, 2017 at 1:36 am
This calls for!Tampaaaaaaaa!!!!!
April 30th, 2017 at 1:36 am
Definitely, awesome that he tells it like it is. great coach. I don’t like all the lovie and schiano haters they all have contributed in various ways. Koetter is a mixture of natural motivator, coach and teacher. His biggest attribute I think is knowing how to use what talent is available to him, and raising it up,(by coaching them up) if he has to. IMO

Number one offense this year and number 7 rated defense
April 30th, 2017 at 1:38 am
It’s good to have a player’s coach.
April 30th, 2017 at 1:39 am
I agree…I’m a little than most of you..about to turn the big 50..been watching my Bucs since day one, though it was from faraway..
I’ve NEVER seen this energy. I’ve never seen this much respect for our HC. Kwon is 22 years old!! 22 freaking years old!!! Some kids entering the nFL these past few days are his age!! This guy is a vet now! When I saw that Tweet, I about jumped out of my seat and went to hug my football gods mantle..the entire mantle.
Koetter and his no bullspit speeches. He speaks his mind and the players listen..
We’re on something special folks, something really special..let’s hold on tight to our armchairs cause we are going to FLY!!!
April 30th, 2017 at 1:57 am
He fires me up and I’m not even on the team. Love coach K!

Dirk Koetter: The Original Stick Carrier
April 30th, 2017 at 3:04 am
How could anyone NOT love this coach? Amazes me that it took so long for any NFL team to offer him a HC position.
April 30th, 2017 at 5:08 am
Definitely my favorite since Gruden (and will soon pass him if we can get to the promised land).
Im pretty sure the Glazers are happy to see that the Coaching/GM carousel has ceased. I think we’re going to see a 5 year perennial playoff contender starting this year! Great time to be a Buc fan!!! My kitty fan friends are hating the DJAX signing and Howard drafting….I chuckle at them. “Serious fire power” came from one of them. HAHAHAHA……I said yup, get ready for another sweeping!!!
April 30th, 2017 at 5:48 am
Best Coach in Bucs history.
He’s authentic and very creative.
Remember how the Falcons used to destroy us all the time?
He would pas directly at Leonard Johnson all game.
He would also always have a bruising running back like Snelling and quick twitch scat backs.
He knows how to build a great offense.
We are so lucky to have this guy!!!

The Licht/Koetter/Winston connection…
Licht buys the groceries, Koetter cooks the meal, and Winston serves it up…As long as we keep these 3 together we shouldn’t have any problems filling up the trophy case at One BuC Place…
April 30th, 2017 at 6:06 am
Bbbaaaayyyyyy!!!!!!
Fire them cannons!!!
April 30th, 2017 at 6:39 am
Dirk and Licht need to be around for a looong time.
April 30th, 2017 at 6:44 am
well lifeasabucsfan, i just turned fifty to the 4 and like you brother have seen them all from MCkay to Gruden, and i too am loving me some Mr Koetter, and it looks like the team does too!!! i have not been this stoked for this team in quite some time, man these are some good times, go bucs
April 30th, 2017 at 6:47 am
i really don’t count raheem and lovie, and imho lovie had to be on a par as one of the worst hire ever by this organization
April 30th, 2017 at 6:54 am
Glad all the dummies who scoffed at the idea of giving this man his first head coaching gig with us didn’t get they’re wish. He’s so much more than just a coordinator. The man get’s it. This is going to be a fun team for years to come!!!
Bucs are back !!
April 30th, 2017 at 7:09 am
I think the years ahead will be fun. Gone are the Yuccaneers. Welcome back, Buccaneers!!
April 30th, 2017 at 7:19 am
Bucs signed:
Thomas Sperbeck, WR, Boise State, UDFA
Likely camp bait…but he DID run the 40 in 4.47. He has topped 1,200 yards in each of the past two seasons. 5’11”, 180 lbs.
April 30th, 2017 at 7:21 am
I was a huge Raheem critic but I think he was just too young. I think he’s a good coach and he’s proven that with the multiple stops he’s had since he coached the Bucs. No other Bucs head coach is still in the league.
April 30th, 2017 at 7:33 am
Don’t even need to play the season. Just give us the SB trophy now. Save injuries.
April 30th, 2017 at 7:45 am
Thomas Sperbeck, WR, Boise State
Christian Kuntz, LB, Duquense
Anthony Auclair, TE, Laval
Paul Magloire, S, Arizona
Riley Bullough, LB, Michigan State
Sefo Liufau, QB Colorado
ANYBODY KNOW OR SEEN THESE GUYS PLAY REGULARLY, drop some knowledge on me please. Speebeck sounds intriguing, thanks Bonzai

Clearly the best OC and HC in franchise history. Knows the Xs and Os and tells it like it is. The players couldn’t trust or believe anything Jon Gruden said. That’s not the case with Koetter. The players respect him. They trust him and they love him. They’ll run through a brick wall for him. The word gets around the league. The best free agents will want to play for him. Great weather, no state taxes, and a great HC, is a winning combination. I’ve seen them all from the very beginning. Koetter is head and shoulders above all of them, Gruden included.
April 30th, 2017 at 8:51 am
Let’s be real. Any coach that says stuff like carry a big mofo stick is going to have his team fired up.
So much charisma on this team, not seen since Sapp days. We’re definitely building something special here.
1sparkybuc…might Tampa become an NFL powerhouse?
April 30th, 2017 at 9:26 am
Love em
April 30th, 2017 at 9:31 am
Gruden flashed…then got cocky and things started to go sideways. Dungy was actually guilty of being “too nice” and stubborn with an anemic offense. Koetter appears to have “all the right moves”…hopefully it continues.
April 30th, 2017 at 9:33 am
That’s right it doesn’t matter what you think of the draft at this point or even certain players it’s time to all get on board. You can always say I told you so later if you’re right, but just hope you’re not so we are a bad a** team! Let’s do this!!!!!!!!
April 30th, 2017 at 10:32 am
Gruden
McKay
Koetter
Dungy

Carrythatmofostick…. to give her credit, the wealth of knowledge known as LifeofaBucsfan is a LADY! And we are all glad she’s here!
April 30th, 2017 at 11:05 am
Lovie who?
April 30th, 2017 at 11:41 am
When was the last time that a Bucfan said
“I love our GM/Coach/Qb”?
Never
This going to turn out to be a fsntastic draft.
Plugged holes with talent.
Next task, Mr. Licht
Go find us a lethal DE. Even if hes only lethat a couple more years

Thanks Rob..
A lady in public but a loud-foul mouthed biatch when my Bucs are on…I think my two sons are not going to be around during game day anymore..When Bucs are losing, I am terrible to be around with..
April 30th, 2017 at 1:06 pm
No doubt LifeOfABucFan, Bucs losing is a major league bummer.
April 30th, 2017 at 2:13 pm
Nobody was more excited than me to have hired Koetter as OC. Then to have him take over as HC was the BEST move the Bucs have made in the past 3 years, right after the Lovie firing. We have spots on our defense that need to be filled but 3 straight strong drafts for our offense was all we needed
April 30th, 2017 at 9:12 pm
I’m drinking the Kool-Aid……. But let’s not forget our DC Smith he’ll tighten the screws and dial in the boys its going to be lethal…
May 3rd, 2017 at 4:12 pm
You wanna keep this train rolling ? Four things we need to do ASAP in this order (Based on remaining contracts)
1. Extend Licht (Priority one)
2. Extend 13
3. Extend 3
4. Extend Koetter
Failure to do ANY of these four things = Back to being league doormats !!
GET IT DONE GLAZER FAMILY !!!!! Pretty please 🙏🏻
