I would be excited if he was a few years younger, we will see if his age will slow him down this year. But still pleased because he is one of the thing our offense needed.
I guess my wife and I are the only ones watching the Redskins last season Jackson is a one play guy he has a big play gets hurt and out for two game. Winston is not a accurate long bomb ball QB hopefully this season he will be or Jackson will be pissed at all the over throws. If we get him for a nice price yea I like the pickup but to pay this guy a treasure chess is a mistake.
However, one source with knowledge of the situation recently told PFT that Jackson’s camp doesn’t view Jameis Winston as a franchise quarterback, yet. There are other guys whom they would regard as better passers for now; one of those teams could have an edge
It’s not official until its official. Football season is a long 7 months away
Gonna be great next couple of years, but the numbers are gonna make me cringe. Hopefully Greenberg has a good contract for easing up the burden after next year.
Dave, why the money could matter – because we DT depth wed like to get, Safeties, possible corner depth, Evans massive contract next year, etc. Theres a lot of good routes we could go with our cap space and spending 12mil + may not be the best route. None the less, its awesome that we have Djax right now.
Joey Galloway kept his speed well into his 30’s, so let’s all hope DJax does too. I look at this signing as a great deal, we dump the slow and often injured VJax, and for about the same money, vastly improve our team!
Our running game just got better too, because other teams will no longer be able to stack the box against us. They will have to respect DJax’s speed.
But the stinking Panthers just signed the other Kalil from Minnesota 🙁

How could you not be excited? Getting this speedster makes the entire offense better!

Upgrades! Have to be positive the Bucs are improving, climbing the ladder being held firmly below.

I just can’t see paying 10 million dollars a year for 60 catches!
