He’s now 23.
Even if you are nowhere in sight of America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston, raise a glass in his honor.
Not only is he a record-setting quarterback, he’s a Bucs’ record-setting quarterback. Likely for quite some time.
Today is Jameis’ birthday. He turned 23. On Monday, Jameis spoke with Joe and other Bucs reporters about what his immediate plans were for the offseason. Jameis said he was going to take a break for a few days on his birthday week.
“Having fun, relaxing, eating crab legs,” Jameis said. “That’s all.”
And Jameis has been relaxing. Jameis watched the Outback Bowl with a Gators family at an International Mall eatery, took in a WWE rasslin’ event at the Ice Palace with stud defensive tackle Gerald McCoy, and Jameis’ little brother, and his girlfriend (?) streamed a live video on Instagram of Jameis going to a local driving range to belt golf balls.
No word on if he wolfed down any crab legs yet.
Joe wants to offer Jameis a happy birthday and may he have many, many more.
Thank God Lovie Smith didn’t listen to Father Dungy!

Happy Birthday, JBoo….a playoff win would make an excellent present this time next year. Everyone has to continue to work hard…hope he continues to train like michael jordan in the offseason with tim grover.
ps – mariota already having legs problems….knee last year, and leg this year. Will he be the same qb coming off a broken leg? Only time will tell….glad we selected #3

Freeman’s Buc record is 80 td passes. If Winston can throw for 31 td passes next year he will have the record. In 3 years. lol

Way to focus on the negative Bucs Anthem. It’s great to improve and to acknowledge areas for improvement but you guys are just negative nellies.
Your types NEVER balance anything with #3’s positives and worse still when he does perform well you guys act either as if it was luck or some oddity.
Many posters have different agendas here. Some are hurt that their pick MM wasn’t selected, some are just always focused on the negative instead of the positive.
So it’s wonderful to acknowledge the shortcomings and work on them.
But you do not BUILD ON NEGATIVES. YOU BUILD ON THE POSITIVES!!!
We have plenty to build on and so I say to all….Happy New Year 2017 is a great year to be a Buc fans! Go Bucs!
