Gerald McCoy reveals Grandpa Jameis
Legions of Bucs fans got what they were craving yesterday when BSPN delivered a 9 minute and 35 seconds feature on America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston, on NFL Sunday Countdown.
Yes, BSPN brought in the big guns for the Bucs.
Chris Berman even delivered the intro to the heavily produced piece with lots of behind-the-scenes footage, including Britt McHenry interviewing Jameis and Gerald McCoy at One Buc Palace.
For the hardest of hardcore Bucs fans, there was little new, outside of Gerald McCoy explaining that 22-year-old Jameis is the wise, mature sage of the locker room.
“He’s so young, but he’s got an old soul. And he talks to everybody like he’s your grandfather,” McCoy said. “Even the words he uses, it’s like he’s young-manning everybody. You know, everybody is ‘young man’ to him, [but] he’s younger than everybody. It’s crazy. But that’s Jameis.”
But this kind of piece isn’t about the hardest of hardcore Bucs fans. It’s about national respect and grooming a vibrant crop of new Tampa Bay faithful; Generation Jameis.
The piece ended with live conversation about the Bucs from the assembled roundtable that included Trent Dilfer and Randy Moss.
Dilfer cautioned anyone who is thinking of betting against Jameis’ team this year. And Moss said the true love evident in the Bucs’ locker room is extremely dangerous. “Watch out for Tampa Bay,” he said.
And right on cue, the went out and rolled the Saints. What a great week to be a Bucs fan.

the funny thing was, yesterday my wife’s best friend husband(cowboys fan) called me talking trash saying we’re still the same ole bucs after huff muffed the kick off…he kept sending me txt throughout the game saying, “yall nothing special”….”yall not on dallas level”….
all I did was txt back “LOL”….after dallas lost I sent him a txt saying, “speak softly, and carry a BIG MOTHERF$CKIN STICK, see you sunday night”….and he still hasn’t txt back LOL…..I hope we beat them the same way the giant just did….smack them in the mouth with suffocating defense….that’s ol skool buc ball….GO BUCS!!!!

Hey Jude will be back against New Orleans the second time around, I’m wondering where he’s gonna fit in. Speaking of 4 game suspensions, the Bucs are 14-11 in games Kwon Alexander plays in.

Looks like we are going to have to do this all on our own. We got no help from.
Falcons, Giants, Redskins, Vikings, Packers, Lions all teams in the hunt with us for playoffs.
We desperately need to win at Dallas…..possibly our most difficult assignment of the year.

Dak and Ezekiel have been Dallas’s spark all year. After I watched Dallas play the Vikings last Thursday I though those two may be hitting the rookie wall. After last night’s game I think Dallas is prime for the picking!!
