Russell Wilson Talks Inquisitive Jameis
November 26th, 2016Yes, we’ve heard about America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston, picking the brain of Russell Wilson and other top QBs at the Pro Bowl in Hawaii this year.
But what is Wilson’s perception of their meeting?
Wilson talked about that this week a bit it to Tampa Bay media, but also in Seattle. Here’s the transcription from the Seahawks’ official website.
(On meeting Jameis Winston at the Pro Bowl…) “He’s a great competitor first of all, Jameis. I love him as a quarterback. He’s phenomenal, makes a lot of great plays, a lot of great throws. Like I said, he’s the ultimate competitor. Being around him was great, to spend time with him and we really connected, we really clicked in a really good way. Asking a ton of questions, he was, and I remember when I was a rookie and I was able to go to the Pro Bowl and I was around Drew Brees and Eli Manning and Peyton Manning, those guys. I was able to ask Drew and Peyton, specifically, a bunch of questions and just trying to gain knowledge of the game and how they do it and how they go about their professionalism and all that. Those were a lot of the questions I guess Jameis was asking in the sense of how I go about the week, how I go about the offseason and different little things. Like I said, he’s a great player, I have tons of respect for who he is and what he’s been doing. He’s a great football player and he’ll be a great football player for a long time.”
Pretty cool stuff.
Joe looks forward to Jameis having another shot to learn and grow at the Pro Bowl in two short months.

That game is tomorrow. I am focused on the one that is played tonight. NosBos and I have a Buccaneers Jersey bet on the game. I told him he might as well have looked for a ME13 1XL on Black Friday and save himself some money. 🙂
Go Gators! Go Bucs!!

Joe, please leave this link…
It’s a fabulous article by Jenna Laine on the mental makeup of Jameis and Russell Wilson as explained by their mental conditioning coach… http://www.espn.com/blog/tampa-bay-buccaneers/post/_/id/15240/jameis-winston-and-russell-wilsons-mental-coach-shares-what-makes-them-tick

Bucs fans, we need to Cherish our QB as we have never had one like him and there may never be another one like him.

But it’s Jenna Laine who Joe likes…

People forget the size and how physically gifted and rare russell wilson is
5’11” 215lb 4.5 forty quick as a cat and always looking downfield
look at his shoulder to shoulder width and trap development
his thighs, calves biceps and forearms (bigger than jameis at 6’4″)
he has 1 of the biggest hand size(10.25) in the NFL even at under 6 ft tall to flip and sling the football effortlessly
complete control and is a coach on the field. He knows exactly whats happenning at anytime and knows his strengths and weaknessess and what the defensive coordinator is trying to do against him at all times
Wilson knows the weakness of smiths defense (MIDDLE ZONE) and he will exploit that all game long
TE Graham minimum 10 targets exposing our linebackers pitiful pass coverage
Kobe doent fear Rawls running but his screens when he leaks out and smiles when looking at our safties
Baldwin going deep- 3 +20 yarders when wilson is scrambling
lockett is going to go slant happy vs our slow gator VH3
Wilson is going to play magician all game long with our front 7
3rd and short for Mr Wilson? easy like sunday morning
seattle blowout 30-14
yippy A – 2 missess
***Kobe might have to come to the rescue again
November 26th, 2016 at 10:34 am
Yes Kobe is predicting another blowout loss just as he did for the Chiefs game! Has to be a good sign

@ Kobe Faker
As The Commish would say, “Let it go, let it go.”

Kobe, was wondering if (actually when) you came back onto JBF you’d be a little more humble. Guess that question’s answered. Good stuff on Russell Wilson, but it has nothing to do with size … he’s just a great competitor who knows how to keep plays alive. Agree with your take on Seattle taking advantage of our weak middle, but don’t forget that Graham’s had a lingering knee injury for much of the season (10 passes to him would be twice what he’s averaging each game). Baldwin’s the one to watch I think. He’s not very big but he’s having a great season. Michael’s the other one who could hurt us big time, more as a runner than receiver. Still, our offense is doing pretty good right now, and I’ll stick with the Bucs to win 27-21.

That was actually my objective in making the bet with him. Every fan has a right to be upset with their team but to constantly be negative and arrogant at the same time is dragging on the entire fanbase.

Oh what do you know, Kobe didn’t go away and is predicting nothing doom and gloom for our team. Again. Just like last week. And the week before…
Cmon Kobe. Tell us now much of a clown Koetter is. We are all anxiously waiting…

Wasn’t that like 3-4 days ago?

@cmurda…..:)
November 26th, 2016 at 2:55 pm
Drew Brees, Matt Ryan, & Dak Prescott. Unless one of those kats decline, Jameis won’t make the Pro Bowl this year Joe.
November 26th, 2016 at 5:43 pm
Michael’s the other one who could hurt us big time, more as a runner than receiver.
?????? christine michael is gone waived
November 26th, 2016 at 10:49 pm
Any more idle threats from Kobe to leave this site ( too good to be true…imaginary posters pm’d him to come back of course )? Why do I picture him yelling upstairs “Ma…meatloaf!” ?
November 27th, 2016 at 12:26 pm
UF got what? lol And next week is just gonna be scary, hide the kids and women for that game!!
