“Ready To Rock”
November 29th, 2016Gerald McCoy will be good to go.
That’s the word from Gerald McCoy.
The stud Bucs defensive tackle was spotted by eagle-eye Thomas Bassinger of the Tampa Bay Times leaving the Den of Depression Sunday night wearing a boot.
Joe already shared a photo he snapped of GMC leaving the field after Sunday’s game. No boot was apparent, which suggests the injury is not that severe. Bucs coach Dirk Koetter said Monday the boot was more precautionary than anything but GMC would undergo tests.
Speaking on “The Blitz” this afternoon, heard exclusively on SiriusXM NFL Radio, GMC waved off concerns his foot injury might keep him out of Sunday’s game against the Chargers.
“I will be out in San Diego and ready to rock against the Chargers.” GMC said.
So there you have it. The foot injury, as Joe suspected, is minor.
We can all breathe a sigh of relief.

I’m sure all the fools that were calling him soft and always injured will be quick to apologize now.
