I’m a fan of your Bucs coverage, and that hasn’t been swayed by any of this, but I think you’re off base in saying that someone sitting or taking a knee during the anthem that it’s a slap in the face of veterans or the military. As a veteran, I don’t feel that way at all. There’s a lot more that the anthem represents besides just our military. There are a lot more layers to our nation besides just the battles we’ve fought. He qualified afterward what his intentions are and what it is he was protesting, so nobody else gets to tell him what his protest meant or what it symbolized.
Also, you and others have said that there are better ways for them to protest and raise awareness about these issues, but what are those other methods? People just say that arbitrarily, but nobody offers another way that these people could have their voices heard or to use their platform to raise awareness. That’s what they have. They’re using it to be the voice of resistance for themselves and all the people that they know who don’t have their platform.

The pledge does only mean respect to vets so please stop it Justin…. but I will say on Veterans Day was a bad look.

Lol Donald Trump I wouldnt want to live anywhere else but he’s an asshole and everyone needs to get the militarys penis out of their mouth no one put a gun to them when they signed up. And last I herd Donald Trump disrespected our generals and military but I guess that’s fine.. yes I know i am a sore loser..
