“Look At The Bears Fans Leaving”
November 17th, 2016Buccaneers head coach Dirk Koetter has said all those visiting fans at Bucs games are “demoralizing.”
And the Bucs players pay attention, too, even during games.
America’s Quarterback, Jameis Winston, liked being huddled up on the field with his teammates during Sunday’s game and gazing at the crowd.
It’s all in this must-watch video of Jameis mic’d up on NFL.com
“Look at the Bears fans leaving,” Jameis tells the huddle.
Then Jameis barked “focus on the field,” as if to say he shouldn’t have been caring about the action in the stands.
Great fun in the video. You’ll also see fantastic new camera angles of Jameis’ ridiculously thrilling scramble and completion to Mike Evans, the one fans will talk about for years. You’ll also see clearly how guard Caleb Benenoch easily could have been called for an illegal block in the back in the end zone on that play. That would have been an automatic safety and changed the game.

Many of those Bear Fans are really Tampa residents.

Chris…once you have your team. You don’t throw it away because you simply moved to another state. I wore creamsicle in San Diego when I lived there. I also wear my Red Sox hat with pride while living here in Florida. I’ll never be a Rays fan. Never. If I move to anywhere in the world, I’m still a Buc fan.

Many of those Bear fans aren’t even from Illinois, let alone Chicago.

You got to love Jamies’s attitude.
Thank you Jameis

Willy D – I live in Illinois near Chicago but grew up a Bucs fan – and will stay that way until I drop dead. Root for the Bears because they’re near me? Screw that.

If who is in the stands matters….why have they won 3 road games….if they care about who is in the stands….they are mentally weak

I’ve been a fan of the St. baseball & football Cardinals where I grew up, the Detroit Lions, Cleveland Browns, Tampa Bay Bucs, Rays, and Lightning depending on where I lived. To me, moving as an adult is like moving during school years. If I transfer to a new college, I’m going to join into the school spirit wherever I land. And, I’ve done the same as an adult. However, to each his own. I just request you not scream in my ear.
Actually I don’t see many in the stand. I, too, try to “focus on the field.”

I’m a Buc fan and I live in Atlanta. When I moved from Lakeland, the Rays, Magic, Lightning didn’t exist. I’m a Bucs and Lakers fan only. And I don’t like living in Lakeland, Polk County or the state of Florida. But I love Atlanta and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else.

i get the frustration in an area of the country where most people come from somplace else, but then i put myself in the other fan’s shoes….if i ever moved away from tampa, anybody in that city who expected me to drop my allegiance to the bucs for a local team would be sorely disappointed.
would i support teams in the new city by attending games and maybe a little apparel? perhaps, but that’s worlds away from leaving my bucs gear at home should they come to town and i would do my darndest to have my kids growing up rooting for daddy’s home team too

It’s a good feeling. The fans make the sport beautiful if not they would play with closed doors

I live up here with all the spoiled Fudge Packer fans, and I hate them all. Lol. If the bucs lose it always makes my day better if the Packers do too.
