Koetter Lauds Jameis
November 20th, 2016Yes, America’s Quarterback, Pro Bowler Jameis Winston, was on fire today.
How much so? Not only did Bucs coach Dirk Koetter give Jameis the game ball — Jameis gave it right back — Koetter believes that may have been the best quarterbacking he has seen in his days in the NFL.
“Jameis was out of sight today,” Koetter said. “That was as good of quarterback play in my however many years I have been in the league today. Jameis was awesome. All day. James played a great, great game. There were plays to be made but from the first play all the way through, Jameis was outstanding.”
Just a few numbers from the Bucs media relations staff on Jameis: The Bucs second-year quarterback has 42 career passing touchdowns and 6,722 career passing yards. His 42 touchdowns are tied for the eighth-most by any NFL quarterback in his first two seasons. Jameis’ 6,722 passing yards stand as the 10th-most.
Stand and salute, America.

Now is the time for Winston to show Wilson what he learned from him at last years Pro Bowl!

I am sick of the Americas QB nonsense. But hell man, Jameis is playing lights out and I am very glad we drafted him instead of MM. He has a huge test ahead of him. If we can steal this win. I might dare say it, we have a real chance of sneaking into the playoffs.

And Jameis only earned a 50 grade from the geeks at PFF.

Today, he played like AMERICA’S Quarterback. I may have to go troll the Chicago Bears forum if Jameis keeps playing like this.

America’s (2nd Most Hated) Game-Manager QB is beloved in Tampa, and his enthusiasm and passion are infectious. Meanwhile, I loved how Fox dug into the archive and found an old photograph of Coach Koetter in his zebra pants, a bygone era that I am glad is gone.

Would have been outstanding to score TDs while living in the chief’s redzone. Gotta get over that hump and be a better redzone scoring offense.
But koetter is right, jameis’ accuracy was on point today. It is a rare sight to see Jameis so dialed in early in the game. Now we need to see him do this on a consistent basis. We could have a lot more win before season’s end if he can do this every week.

How about some numbers on the other players…

He’s getting better every week which is good. But the high throws need to be eliminated asap

What’s not to “laud”? Winston is the best QB tampa has ever or will ever see with respect to Mr Williams. Too bad for you he’ll be gone in a few years.
A guy as young as he shouldn’t have to literally carry an organization and consistently humble himself while their idiot fans, media (present company excluded) and local yokel racists spew hatred towards him at every opportunity.
Honestly, now I truly wish Tampa had drafted Mariota and played him with a 3rd string oline, 4th string WR and 5th string RBs to see how many games that wussy would win. Honestly he would be the perfect partner for Tampa’s prodigal son. I hate most of you people and it would be great if you hurry up and went extinct.

A-Train is right on both counts. Bucs played well and McCoy had zero tackles. That’s not good.
November 20th, 2016 at 9:22 pm
3rd down conversion after conversion putting the ball right where it needs to be.
November 20th, 2016 at 9:23 pm
McCoy haters just shut your mouths. It only shows you don’t actually watch games. McCoy is the focus of the other team’s game plan every week. Dude may have had the biggest play of the game. Who tipped the pass Conte intercepted? That’s right, GMC. Watch some games, learn something about defensive line play, and then maybe you can provide some useful commentary.

DB55…why are you so angry?

Wins like this, don’t come too often in the NFL.. Sit back and enjoy it, bring on the Seahawks.

I hate stupid people and Tampa is jam packed with them.

I get frustrated with some of our foolish fans but
The majority are silent and don’t post on boards.
Jamies is already becoming elite, he’s only 22 and could be playing his senior year of college right now.

Agree DB. And you are one of them.
Not every criticism has to do with race. Get your head out of your ass or you can go extinct.
GO BuCS

The McCoy haters are just plain ignorant. Watch some tape and see what happens as soon as the other team snaps the ball. Two guys immediately are assigned to block McCoy. This happens over and over again. Believe it or not that frees up the lesser players to try and disrupt.

What else is there to say. Your handle says it all.

Jw is good but young and is developing. He still needs to improve accuracy and mental part. Very happy with him. Like dk too he’s been good for jw. Don’t understand the negativity. Next year we have all our picks plus good cap space potentially. Cut verner. I’d like good safety dl guy wr add another cb 4th td.
