Cutler Might Not Be A Fan Of Jameis

November 10th, 2016
Doesn't follow America.

Doesn’t follow America.

Quarterbacks belong to a fraternity of sorts, especially NFL quarterbacks.

Talk to one and it seems like they can dissect every other quarterback in the league. Often, they keep in touch. If they meet during the offseason at a function or event, they often hang together.

Hell, when Joe asked John Elway, Hall of Fame quarterback himself and leader of the Broncos, what he thought about Jameis at last winter’s combine in Indianapolis, Elway began to break down Jameis’ game for Joe.

Joe remembers asking Eli Manning once about Jameis, and he talked about how Jameis worked a youth camp with him.

However, when it comes to bratty Jay Cutler of the Bears, he’s like the guy who was too good for fraternities in college. Yesterday, when he spoke via teleconference with the Tampa Bay pen and mic crowd, Cutler was asked about Jameis and his answer befitted his dour personality.

“I honestly haven’t watched him one time,” Cutler said. “So I’m not sure what is happening with him.”

Um, kay.

Hard to believe Cutler has never watched any of the three prime time games Jameis has played in, or even watched him in college with all the times Florida State played on national TV at night.

But that’s Cutler. Aside from bagging a Hollywood starlet for a wife, he’s a different cat when it comes to NFL quarterbacks.

What a cocky nerdy looking primadonna, that’s an awesome picture, got me laughing in the morning.

  2. DM Says:

    He is such a DB

  3. EA Says:

This just in, Cutler is questionable with a split nail on the thumb of his throwing hand.

  4. Tom Edrington Says:

Given Cutler’s performance level, he needs to watch defensive film, so give him a pass on this

  5. Maze Says:

He’s gonna torch the Bucs secondary

  6. MnBucsFan Says:

So he didn’t watch Jameis when the Bucs played the Bears last year

  7. Mike Johnson Says:

I’m not sayin nothing. Under performing QB’s like Cutler use teams like the Bucs to up/pad their stats. Don’t be surprised if Cutler devastates our defense oe shall I say our..chess pieces..cause they stationary as hell! Every QB we’ve played against who was doing poorly all of a sudden look like world beaters against our Bucs. And this happens consistently…time and time again. And Y’all knows I speak the truth year! And for our no 1 draft pick? I’m not impressed with his performance or improvements. He’s regressing if you ask me.

  8. chipbuc Says:

Mike Johnson nobody is asking you your opinion of Jameis, because we get it you dont like him. Your Mariota obsession is getting old. Here`s an idea watch some Titians games you`ll feel better.

  9. 813bucboi Says:

@mikejohnson…jameis as well as the whole team has regressed….GO BUCS!!!!

  10. Poor Glennon Says:

Let’s get our shots in on Cutler now. Come Sunday he, like every Qb in the NFL. Will out duel #3. Why is Winston not making the switch to TE yet. I don’t really care about Glennons stats in garbage time. But the way he stood and delivered tight perfect passes. A couple with a man in his face. Gives me more faith in him. How do we know that all those inaccurate balls #3 throws each and every week. That Glennon doesn’t hit those. #3’s reality check is coming. He has rode the hype train far enough. If this guy was a 4th round pic he’d allready be riding pine.

  11. LargoBuc Says:

If the Bucs can’t win this one at home, 0-8 looks real. Many think we can beat the Saints but Brees always steps up at RayJay for what ever reason.
As for the Bucs on primetime, who besides us Buc diehards wana watch this team?

  12. Poor Glennon Says:

Chipbuc us Winston haters will stand strong til the end. Just like the Freeman lovers/haters. Heck anyone that uses the phrase Mike Glennon mob. Are admitting they were Freeman lovers. How did Freeman work out again? 8 weeks left for #3 to underachieve and prove me right. Oh ya then next the GM will make bold moves. Sacrificeing the future to save his backside. We’ll stink again next year. #3 will stink the place out again. Then we can start another rebuild after next season.

  13. Mike Johnson Says:

Nobody hates Jameis! Just watch the games..Fools! He way overthrows targets repeatedly before finally making completions. And he underthrows a lot also. Not just a couple times in a game. He does it incessantly! There are many QB’s drafted way above him who are doing much better in their 1 thru 3rd yrs. A lot of you don’t want to see..to hear..the TRUTH!!

  14. LovieBall Says:

Jay “Student of the Game” Cutler. Yeah, no.

  15. LakeLandBuc Says:

To be honest, and i’m not defending Cutler. But who really watches the Yucs games? And most NFL players don’t watch college games, unless it’s their Alma Mater.

  16. Joe Says:

To be honest, and i’m not defending Cutler. But who really watches the Yucs games?

Cutler was on the sidelines for one of Jameis’ games last year at the Den of Depression. Did he have his head buried in a cooler of Gatorade when the Bucs had the ball?

  17. BucTrooper Says:

I completely forgot there’s a Bucs home game this weekend…. truth is, I got all the wins I need for the next 4 years on Tuesday.

  18. Mojiska Says:

Go look at Manning first 4 years stats. Very up and down. Luck has been off and on. Cam was off and on until last year. Elway never threw less than 10 ints in a season. Give the guy a few seasons before claiming he was a bust. Most of his stats are up from last year, or area least not regressing. With more injuries and a worse running game.

I see what you did there Joe. Sure is a perty cat ya got there Jay

@Mike Johnson- They can’t handle the truth!!!
