Bucs Down
November 27th, 2016Man, the way the Bucs are playing on third downs, it is getting sick.
Especially the defense. Consider that today, the stout defense of the Bucs held one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL, Russell Wilson, to third-down conversion numbers you might expect from Stewart McClown.
Wilson completed a grand total of one — one! — third down conversion in nine attempts, and that came late in the game.
That is just incredible to Joe. There’s no way, not even the most apologetic of a Bucs fans, could envision shackling Wilson and the Seahawks like this. It’s truly amazing.
So no longer is it third down. That is better known as “Bucs Down.”

I am getting used to Jameis throwing the ball that gets a 1st down or much longer.
And I can certainly get used to the defense making plays on 3rd down forcing a 3 & out.

I was pretty sure the Seahawks’ third down conversion was 1-of-11, their last third down of the game. Regardless, great game!!!

It feels good to have a coach who is with the times.

Jameis was robbed of a touchdown on a bogus penalty. He was lights out on 3rd down.
