Horrible Defense

Has a garbage defense.
Not long ago the 49ers had one of the most ornery defenses in the NFL.
Beef up front. Sick edge rush. The best set of linebackers in the league and defensive backs that would light you up. Man, it was good ol’ fashioned 1970s bone-crunching football. It was fun to watch. Joe loved it.
Now? The 49ers defense is newborn-kitten soft. How soft? Pat Kirwan took to his fantastic website, Real Football Network, and believes nobody on San Francisco’s offense can save them against the Bucs.
Forget about Colin Kaepernick and the 49ers offense. This defense, without their leader Navarro Bowman, has given up 78 points in the last two games.
And the 49ers are without Carlos Hyde, their best running back by far.
The task is simple: Stop Sideshow Bob, the National Anthem-kneeling, history-challenged, Supreme Court Justice-sparring, Fidel Castro-loving 49ers quarterback, and you stop San Francisco. Real simple.

Is this one of those Bucs games where everything is pointing to us winning,but for some reason, we beat ourselves and lose going away?

A win would be so nice. Then trade for Alshon Jefferys (or Torrey Smith? not sure I love his hands…) and bang out the easier part of our schedule. That would be exciting.

Their run defense is supposed to be really, really bad too. Rodgers should have a career day.
Still, if I was calling the plays in the first drive? I’d line up for the run and pass the ball. No huddle. The 49ers can be overwhelmed with no huddle. Run the ball when they expect us to pass, throw it when they expect us to run. Then when they figure it out, flip it around.
Keep them confused and boom…we’ll kill their defense.
So far a their offense…I suspect we’ll get six sacks on them today.
This is the start of a 4 game winning streak!

I agree no huddle. Give a pass to shorts to get started. First 2 plays for jacquizz will be screens….but we know whats going to happen

Sf was embarassed last week with Buff a great run offense. They are still professionals. Sf will play the run tough better than carolina did against us

Well Bozai, wouldn’t the Carolina game be the start? I do believe we’ll win today. Hopefully a big game from Jameis to boost his confidence back up.

i dont like being favored to win. It’s kind of a curse. We need this game…hope they show up to play and are balanced on O. On D we need to stack the box and make them show us they can pass to beat us.

Balance
We threw the hell out of the ball in all our losses and were too conservative against Carolina. I want the balance we saw moreso in week 1

Of course their defense is bad. It is a sanctuary city. They don’t enforce anything there. If we had an illegal immigrant running back, they’d just open up the center of the field for him to run free.

@Joe: tired of the name calling Joe: the only term I will attack today is the reference of History Challenged, what do you really mean, because there is an enormous amount of HISTORY that half of this country know nothing about and don’t want to know nothing about (ignorance), the HIGH COURTS determined long ago what rights we have, and you and others slander this man’s name over him exercising his right, you need to rail on some of these Jack-Ass’s who view your spoken word daily, as a matter of fairness I will be the Jack-Ass today because I know some History and it damn sure ain’t no Challenge for me to EDUCATE you with FACTUAL KNOWLEDGE!
